A great way to see some of the most popular sights of the southern coast. With extremely narrow roads and scooters squeezing a third lane out of the middle, Italy is a nerve-wracking place to drive. And we had our fill of big, cattle-herding tour buses earlier in the trip. So we greatly enjoyed having a private chauffeur and comfortable sedan (with a moon roof!) for this tour. The driver also set us up with an excellent private guide for the visit to Pompeii. Paola, our guide, was knowledgeable not only about the history of the site but also the best way to navigate it to see the highlights while avoiding crowds. Positano was absolutely beautiful but bustling with tourists. So we skipped some of the shopping in favor of an outstanding lunch at a shaded, outdoor cafe gently cooled by a misting system. I am still dreaming of the gorgeous lava stone table we admired in one of the shops along the way, but couldn’t quite justify the purchase price. Maybe next time!

Umberto was a pleasure to work with and a complete professional. His team provided transfers and an Amalfi Coast tour in comfortable Mercedes Benz Sprinters for our group of 10. Great conversation, history and background music made the Amalfi tour a truly great experience. The young adults had a great time with Umberto's son Manuel. Umberto delivered on everything he promised and I would highly recommend! Can't wait to do it again.

My wife and I did a 9 hour tour with Antonio and it was spectacular. Extra points because I contacted him less than 24 hours from when we needed the tour and still pulled through smoothly. Highly responsive and open to what we wanted to do. We were picked up right on time and were on our way to the Amalfi coast. Throughout the journey, Antonio gave us a ton of explanations about the region, lifestyle, etc. The car was very comfortable, a Mercedes Benz van. We visited Positano and Sorrento, and had 1 hr for a great lunch at a restaurant recommended by Antonio. If you're looking for a private driver, look no further. Highly recommended! We can't wait to come back and book another tour with him.

Fantastic service from start to finish, we were collected from Naples train station as a family of six and then driven to Pompei for a private 2 hour tour. Our guide was fantastic (so sorry that we can’t remember her name). Our driver Manuel then took us onto our accommodation in Sorrento. Umberto was a pleasure to deal with via WhatsApp, everything went so smoothly. We’d thoroughly recommend for a hassle free way to travel.

The drivers made our travel so much more than just transportation. Manuel and Paolo took us to Positano and Maiori/Ravello with laughter, song and information.

We have used Umbertos car and tour service before and were extremely happy with it so chose it again; this time with Manuel. We had an excellent time. Manuel was very knowledgeable of the area and very entertaining on route and had us laughing all day. They arranged a restaurant for us and we saw and experienced a beautiful part of Italy. Manuel provided us with a wonderful day and tour of the Amalfi Coast. There were three of us on our trip. He picked us up promptly at our hotel in Sorrento. He discussed with us what our options and desires were for our day and then he tailored the day to our wishes. He was professional, engaging and entertaining and also was as excellent driver. The day really could not have been better. Lastly Manuel's command of the English language is superb.

Antonio took great care of us. He was on time, friendly, informative and a safe driver! He stopped for pictures at places we wouldn’t have known about.

Loved the safe and comfortable ride in the Mercedes Van. Loved that Umberto spoke perfect English with a New York accent - he lived and worked in New York in a restaurant. He picked us up after we completed Valentino’s Cooking Class on the farm. Recommend this class. Umberto was great answering questions and giving travel tips to our daughters 22 and 19. Recommend. already gave his info to my sister in law who will be in Naples in October for a conference.

Great experience! We have noting but best recommendations! We were group of friends and our driver was Manuel, who was very helpful, cheerful, and arranged for us a great route Naples-Amalfi coast (Positano/Amalfi/Ravello) and back to Naples. He had also explained us ever single detail we asked. Truly great guide! Even helped us get the restaurant reservations. Antonio was wonderful: he arrived to pick us up a little early, was helpful loading luggage, very polite, offered information on sites as we drove, and helped off load luggage.

Italy Driver is our “go-to” transportation in southern Italy! We’ve used them multiple times. This is an excellent family owned and operated business. They are always on time, professional, have well maintained comfortable air conditioned vehicles for every need, and speak English very well. My husband, a native of Italy who prides himself on his driving skills, will no longer attempt to rent a car and drive in the area when we visit - as Italy Driver makes it so easy and convenient for us. We’ve just returned from the Sorrento/Amalfi area and this time I was without the benefit of my husband and traveling only with our two teenage girls. My husband felt comfortable knowing we were in safe hands reaching our destinations with the Italy Driver team. Antonio was our driver in the area and provided a tour of Huculeneum and airport transfers. He took excellent care of us. Always helpful with baggage, instructions, and great local tips. The girls wanted to visit a beach club and Antonio made a quick and excellent recommendation. He also offered great local restaurant suggestions. Renting, driving,and parking a car in southern Italy is complicated, expensive and dangerous for those inexperienced with the Italian roads! We arranged a private transport for our cruise stop in Naples. Umberto provided outstanding communication and details prior to the trip. Our driver for the day was Manuel and he was outstanding. He was enthusiastic, entertaining and engaging. He spoke excellent English and Italian and provided colorful details of the area. He provided very good information and brought us to some memorable locations. Also, Umberto and Manuel arranged for a private tour and admission to the ruins of Pompei. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We arrived back to our cruise ship on time as Manuel was great in keeping us on track.
