This was my wife's and I first extended visit in Naples and we decided to go with a private Through Eternity tour, whom we often use in Rome, of Naples Between Heaven and Earth. This was the ideal tour to see the real Napoli with all the color, splendor and grime (which is a good thing!)! Our very knowledgeable guide Francesca, who met us at our hotel, took us all over! Up the funicular to Castel Sant'Elmo for fabulous views of this wonderful city! Back down the funicular to the most colorful part of Napoli - the historic center of Spaccanapoli full of narrow alleyways, colorful piazze and unique shops of food, hole-in-the-wall eateries, pulcinelle, and presepio nativity figurines. And murals all over including those of Napoletano icons of Maradona and Sofia Loren (neither from Naples), and then the art masterpieces - Caravaggio's Seven Works of Mercy at the Pio Monte della Misericordia, and Giuseppe Sanmartino's Veiled Christ at the Cappella Sansevero! These are must-see works of art! Six wonderful hours flew by! And Francesca was a walking encyclopedia of all things Napoletano - a marvelous tour guide! We so highly recommend this tour for new-comers and for those who think they know Naples! But you need good walking shoes and ample stamina! Do it!!

Amazing tour. Guide was very informative and knowledgeable. He answered all our questions. He also knew the best times to be at certain places so it was not too busy so we did not have to miss anything. In fact we saw more then the last time we were there

The tour was actually the virtual tour of Naples via Zoom. I've been fortunate to go on several tours of Naples and Pompeii with Through Eternity Tours guided by Andrea Fiorillo. Andrea's impressive knowledge of Naples, Italy, history and art makes his tours mesmerizing. No better way during these tough times to get a feeling of traveling. In some aspects it is ever better than being there - the close up shots of some of the statues especially the especially the veiled Christ is something I will never forget. In addition dealing with the tour company, Through Eternity, has been professional and supportive. They are easily available at seemingly all hours especially before and during the tours. I highly recommend going on these tours.
