We had an absolutely wonderful time! The tour drivers were easy to locate and very kind and friendly, especially towards the many children in our group. They were clear in the timings we had at each stop and easy to communicate with as we roamed around each location. We particularly loved our tour guide at Pompeii who was super informative, funny and accommodating to our needs including finding a restaurant for my elderly parents and infant daughter to wait at while we completed the tour as it was simply too hot for them to join us as originally planned. Although our timings and day felt super tight and exhausting, we truly enjoyed the drive and time spent with your tour. It was well worth the cost and everyone felt relaxed and enjoyed our personalized time instead of going with a larger group tour. We took our family of 9 (6 adults and 3 children: 13, 9, 7) on this tour and it was tremendous. Our guide, Romolo, couldn't have been better. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and was great at keeping the young ones engaged, too. Romolo was also very good at navigating our private group around the particularly large crowds and other larger groups. It was very hot the day we toured, and Romolo did a great job of keeping us moving and finding shady spots for more in-depth explanations of the site. My wife and I had visited Pompeii once before 17 years ago, but Romolo showed us sites and gave us information we hadn't seen or known before. The tour operator was also very responsive to our communication after booking but before the tour, as we had to arrange to be picked up at the Naples train station. Pompeii is certainly a must-see for anyone going to the Naples/Sorrento area of Italy and we highly recommend this tour through Viator.

Our private Pompeii tour was excellent. Our driver (Vincenzo, I believe) was waiting for us when we came out of our vacation rental, and got us to Pompeii quickly and comfortably. Paolo, our guide through Pompeii, was absolutely first-rate. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the city, and very personable. Terrific tour and great guide. He kept the tour moving and our kids engaged and interested. Perfect tour length and kept us moving away from any crowds. Pickup and drop off from our cruise ship port was very well organized.

This was probably the best tour I had during my week in Italy. Paulo picked us up from the Naples train station and we had a comfortable ride to Pompeii. When we got there, Paulo walked us from area to area explaining how life was during the period before the Vesuvius eruption. Paulo provided excellent facts and stories that really brought the place to life. After our tour, we were dropped off at the Naples waterfront so we could continue the day on our own. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone going to Pompeii.

Perfect timing. The driver picked the four of us at Naples airport with a comfortable car and took us directly to Pompei where the guide was expecting us already with the tickets. Fantastic guide!
