First, you will be given a tour of the vineyards by a qualified bilingual NWT Sommelier. During the walk, you will be told about the history of the winery, vine-growing techniques and varieties, legends, and anecdotes strictly connected with the indigenous wine varieties and the Sorrentino family. Then, you will be taken to an elevated platform from which you will enjoy a jaw-dropping view of the Vesuvius,, and the Bay of Naples. If agreed, you will offered to visit an off-the-beaten-track section of the vineyard which is strictly connected with the 79AD eruption that destroyed Pompei, further learning about the volcanic terroir and how it affects the vines and the wines. After a 50-minute walk in the vineyards, you will be taken to the Sorrentino farmhouse restaurant where you will be served a rich 3-course meal with farm-to-table produce while tasting the wines produced by the Sorrentino family. The lunch will be led by a NWT multilingual dedicated professional sommelier.

          Amazing!
We did both Campania Felix in Naples and a private wine tour through Irpinia with Andrea. Both were absolutely amazing!! We highly recommend Andrea and Napoli Wine Tours! It was a pleasure to be guided in our tasting experiences with a sommelier!

Private Introductory lesson to the world of wine: Vineyards, Vines and Wines at Sorrentino Vini winery
Our wine tour for two at Sorrentino winery was the perfect introduction to the region's wines. I mentioned I wanted a general overview, and our guide, Andrea was fantastic. He tailored the experience to our interest, making it informative but not overwhelming. The tour started with a walk through the Sorrentino vineyard, followed by a tasting at the on-site restaurant. Andrea, a dynamic and engaging guide, struck a perfect balance between being informative and approachable. He is fluent in both Italian and English, making the tour ideal for multinational couples or groups. Even with my short attention span, the four-hour tour flew by. There was enough downtime to relax and absorb the information, and Andrea was always happy to answer our questions. It felt like a perfect blend of learning and fun, which is rare to find in tours. On top of that, the price was very reasonable! The entire venue was stunning, and the staff was incredibly warm and friendly. I can't wait to return for a deeper dive into sparkling wines! Thanks, Andrea, for a wonderful experience!

If this is the only thing you do in Naples, you will be incredibly pleased
Andrea put on a spectacular day for us. He really went above and beyond to make it a very special experience. The tour he set up at Pompeii was incredible. Then, we took a ride to his recommended winery where he shared with us his extremely thorough knowledge of vineyards in the area as well as the origins of wine. Finally, he put on a spectacular and delicious wine and food tasting experience. He had an emphasis on the health properties of the food and wine which I found very interesting and pleasing. I highly recommend him and his tour to get a great understanding of Naples and the history of wine.

          Phenomenal private wine tasting
I booked this after seeing the perfect reviews. Andrea delivered a fantastic 4 hour wine tasting experience in a lovely Enoteca. He arranged a trusted taxi company to pick us up (not included in price) and once we arrived began a very extensive lesson of wine and its history. Andrea was clearly very passionate, very knowledgeable and was very keen to share this with us. Over 5 different wines, each paired with a small dish of food designed to complement the wines, he guided us. Having him to there meant that instead of just quaffing the wine we deliberately thought about each one and appreciated the differences. We really appreciated how he never tried to upsell us, and when we decided to stay on for another glass after the experience he remained to guide us through that as well. Even though we were asking Andrea loads of questions he stayed engaged and energetic. I’m sure it should have taken less time but we kept him there for over 4 hours. A fantastic evening.

          Amazing wine experience in Napels
This is a unique experience to sample and tour the vineyards at the base of Mount Vesuvius. The tour guide Andrea has a vast knowledge of the area and explains the history of wine in a relaxed and friendly manner. The quality of the wine and food is outstanding. Given the impending eruptions in this active volcanic area, one absolutely HAS to visit when the opportunity presents itself!

          Book this wonder tour!!!
This was just spectacular!!!! We loved every minute of it. Andrea was super knowledgeable and very friendly. Wine was great and Andrea poured very generously! Food was superb with good portions. Do not eat dinner before! If you do, you will be sorry as all was delicious. Andrea even found a bottle of wine we loved in Sicily few years back. We strongly recommend this experience. You will have fun, learn a lot, drink and eat wonderfully.

          Girlfriend was impressed
An amazing experience. My girlfriend, who is a sommelier back home in the states, was super impressed with Andrea's knowledge and I was happy to just eat the farm to table food with a stunning panorama view. He was pretty funny too. We brought back some apricot wine and some Rose that would have cost 4x as much back in the states. I would say that even if you don't worship wine like my girlfriend you will love the experience.

          Brilliant!
The tour was very informative and Andrea’s knowledge and love of wine shone through in his enthusiasm and delivery of the information. The wines we sampled were expertly paired with the most amazing selection of dishes. A must do when visiting the area! I will definitely return on my next trip.

          Great wine tour!
I would like to highly recommend Andrea, with his knowledge & passion of a wine. Overall fantastic day. We toured the vineyard, with explanation of the history, vines, plantings, geology of the area which includes the original ash from pompeii which you can touch and feel. We then went wine tasting and learnt about food pairing. Which was brilliant way to finsh the experience and once again very informative.

Unforgettable experience. The vineyard tour was unique with stunning views. The lunch showcased the unique character of the region, perfectly complemented by the outstanding wines we sampled. Andrea's attention to detail in selecting these pairings truly elevated the entire experience, making it a feast for both the senses and the soul.

Group of 3 American women traveling in Naples sought out and received an educational, fun and delicious vineyard tour, wine tasting and lunch with Andrea. His good humor was infections and his information was appropriate for the more “expert” wine drinkers and the mere “drinkers” in our group. We all learned and had fun. The context of the information is specific to Campagna so even if you think you have little to learn or feel you’ve tried it all, you’ll get some new things out of this tour. We all left feeling like we had a feast, enjoyed plenty of wine and got some great education to be used for the rest of our travels around Naples.

Andrea was very responsive to all questions in advance of the tour and made the booking process very simple. He picked us up right at our hotel. We toured a beautiful winery and then had a delicious lunch that was several courses which was paired with various wines. Andrea provided a lot of information about wine and information on the particular wines we were drinking. Overall, it was a great experience and one of the highlights of our vacation.

Early morning set off was daunting with a 2 year old but we all loved it especially our little one.
We learnt a lot on the tour of the vineyard and it made such a difference when tasting the wines later to understand where and how they are grown.
Our sommelier was very attentive, he checked before we set off what would be best for our kids to eat and was so kind adapting to our needs.
Wine was spectacular and the food was devine, all with extensive explanation in a fun way where we felt involved. Not to mention the view. Can't wait to come back and try another tour.

First time on a vineyard tour. I hope they are always as fantastic as this. Andrea was just such a great guy and host. Knowledge of wine and area is really incredible. I was unsure before booking as it is more expensive than the average tours but like the old saying says…”you get what you pay for”. I cannot recommend NWT and the Sorrentino (Vesuvius) wine experience. I now know how to do the wine test…. albeit badly.

One of the best things to do in Napoli! Exceeded my expectations and the wine, food, winery, and tour was so amazing.

Andrea was very knowledgeable and accommodating to the experience and I would 100% recommend booking. Andrea personally picked me and the other guest up from our accommodation and brought us to a wonderful vineyard with amazing views of Vesuvio and the Napoli coast. We walked around the vineyard, learned about the different ways of growing the grapes, the history of the land and soil, and so much more. Then we were treated to a four course lunch where the food was incredible and 8 amazing wines.

        I highly recommend this!

We can absolutely recommend Napoli Wine Tours.

We went with them on their medieval Irpina tour. It was a full day of exploring the history of wine, the beautiful Taurasi region and the wineyards and wineries. It was just the two of us and our sommelier guide who took care of us through the day.

The tour was a whole day (almost 10 hours) so there is almost too much to share in this review. In short: we visited three towns and their medieval castles. We visited three wineries where we sampled their individual takes on the same three regional wines. For one tasting, we had lunch and learned about food pairing.

Andrea, our sommelier guide, was very knowledgeable and perfectly adjusted the tour to our level, allowing us to get most out of the day.

Given the rich programme of the tour, we feel absolutely that we got our moneys worth.
At no point were we expected to purchase anything at the wineries (which is sometimes expected on guided tours), which we appreciate.

We would happily go again the next time we are around Naples.

Andrea was our tour guide and sommelier. We were traveling with our toddlers so we didn’t know what to expect and didn’t have high hopes since my husband and I had two littles. We were mind blown at the thought that was put into the safety and thought of our kids. We were picked up in a large van about 15 mins early than expected. Early is always better!!!! They had two car seats for us. Which I was soooo appreciative of. Andrea had coloring books and markers for our littles that kept them busy along with the games and tablets that we packed for them.

As far as the tour, food, and wine….. omg if you are having doubts about booking just do it. You will not be disappointed. Andrea is sooo incredibly knowledgeable of the land, the food, the wine… everything. The food was amazing and the wine was to die for. Me being a big foodie/chef was simply in heaven. I did not want to leave. We loved it so much we bought SO MUCH WINE AND OLIVE OIL to be shipped back to us in the US. I simply can’t say enough about the amazing vineyard, the family, the history, or Andrea. It is an experience we will never ever forget.

Highly recommend taking a vineyard tour and wine tasting with Napoli Wine Tours. Had the pleasure of a tour with Andrea the other day. It was very informative and fun, the vineyard was beautiful and both the wine and lunch was excellent. We learned a lot about the area and the wine. We were picked up in Naples and returned after the tour very happy and satisfied. Andrea is very knowledgeable and fluent in English (grew up in London) which is a plus when not speaking Italian (working on it). All communication both regarding the booking and the pickup was smooth. All in all a very good experience!

We loved our experience with Andrea, he was so friendly from start to end. He picked us up, did the tour and dropped us back.
Our wine tour was so informative and personal. We then had our wine tasting and paired with food, we were taught all about the different wines and the foods that they go with, understanding how each wine balances with food.
There were no questions that were left unanswered and Andrea also gave us local advice for the rest of our trip.
We had the best time and would 100% recommend this private tour.
