Franscesca was a great tour guide. Our family learned so much both about both places. I am very happy we decided to use Liv Tours and thrilled Franscesca was our guide.

We went on a guided tour of Pompeii with the most amazing tour guide named Lia! She was very knowledgeable of the ruins of Pompeii and we were able to learn so much from her! We were able to have her as a tour guide because we booked a tour through LivTours. The tour we booked also included seeing Mt. Vesuvius however, Lia was only able to be with us in Pompeii. We enjoyed visiting Pompeii with Lia and would tour with her again!

We spent half of our day at Pompeii and Ercolano with Carla as our guide. Her academic background in archaeology shines through when she is describing the cities and the history. She was fabulous. I wholeheartedly recommend her tour.

We loved our day on the Amalfi Coast and especially our tour of Pompeii. Francesca was our guide and she was outstanding. She patiently explained everything and provided a lot of background detail that really brought to life both the day of the explosion and the details of everyday life for the people who lived there. It was both interesting and very informative. Then our driver (don't know the spelling but he pronounced it "Pulu") took us down to an overlook for Positano and to a great restaurant in Sorrento. We have traveled many places and this was one of our most memorable days.

Super fun experience! My partner Jess and I had an amazing day on the water with captain Marco. He was a fantastic guide driving us to the best spots on the coast while sharing detailed information as only a local could. We checked out Positano, stopped to swim in a cave, had a tasty snack prepared by Marco, then had lunch in Nerano. It was the perfect length (7 hours total) and was a very fun way to see the are and enjoy the sun and water. Highly recommend taking this tour, worth every Euro. Grazie Marco!

We had an unforgettable full-day boat tour to Capri, and Marco, our skipper, was amazing! He took us to the most stunning grottos, including hidden spots we’d never have found on our own. Snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters was a highlight, and Marco knew exactly where to take us for the best experience. His knowledge of the area, friendly demeanor, and passion for the sea made the day truly special. It was the highlight of our trip, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Highly recommend Marco and this tour!

We loved every moment of our experience with Marco! He was a first class guide from communication about where to meet, to arriving in the most beautifully appointed new boat, to suggesting our visit to Capri early in the day to beat crowds (which were intense by noon). He was able to navigate our boat into the tiniest private grottos and even took photos for us. Marco offered us drinks and appetizers, gave us info about the island all day, and was beyond easy to hang out with. He made our 20th anniversary trip super memorable. In my opinion this is the best and only way to see Capri! Could not recommend more!!!

Our customized tour from the Naples cruise port to Pompeii and Sorrento was a family favorite. It was a long day but ideal for our family that was traveling with older parents and a toddler. While expensive it was worth every penny to maximize our limited time. Our tour guide, Marianna, in Pompeii was informative and interesting. The afternoon in Sorrento was a dream, although limited time we loved every minute and only wish we had more time. My only complaint was our driver seemed distracted while driving which made for an anxious drive. We love LivTours and have used them on multiple European trips now and will continue to use them for years to come.

Francesca honestly was one of the best private tour guides I’ve ever had. We only had two hours or so to tour Pompeii but she was so detailed, thorough, and enthusiastic to share everything she knew in a short period of time. We never felt rushed and she answered every little question we had with a smile. Clearly she was very experienced, and it showed by her ability to navigate the crowds and bring us to less busy areas so we could enjoy the experience even more. She had a great charm and it felt like we were touring with a friend by the end! I wish we could take her with us to every part of Italy!

Our private tour of the amalfi coast by car was wonderful. Patrick was our tour guide and he was excellent. We stopped in Ravelo for lunch and Amalfi for limoncello and lemon delight cake. All the photo opps were you excellent as well. We highly recommend this tour.
