Booking the tour was so easy, communication was exceptional, and the tour while tailored for the kids was just as beneficial for the adults. Alex kept everyone engaged and we all learned a lot about Pompeii. My kids are still talking about visiting Pompeii and Alex. Alex was very knowledgeable and took great family photos for us! 1000% worth it!

My family had a great week in Italy. It included the Coliseum, the Forum, the Vatican, the Amalfi coast, a private boat tour around Capris and a vineyard. When asked what was their favorite experience overall, teenagers and adults all say the same thing “Pompeii because of Alex!”

Alex is amazing! What we saw and learned in just two hours was perfect. We saw other people walking having no idea what they were looking at, whereby Alex educated us and showed us things beyond my expectation. He also knew how to avoid the crowds so we really could appreciate Pompeii. Throughout the tour he took us through what life was like prior to the eruption and really brought it to life. We felt the life of people in the streets, houses and shops. Alex was informative, fun and extremely knowledgable. Best decision booking this. Thank you Alex!

Great tour. Alex is wonderful, so engaging with the children (11 and 13) Trying to keep us out the heat and the crowds, although we had a 4pm tour and wasn’t that busy at all! Definitely recommend Alex.

Alex is amazing! Our family learned so much about Pompeii on his tour. Alex is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and entertaining. He is the best tour guide we've ever had on vacation. If I ever get back to Pompeii I would use him again. I would also highly recommend him to anyone that wants in-depth knowledge of the history of Pompeii, told in a way that's engaging and relatable to most people today.

We did a 4.5 month trip around Europe visiting 10 countries and Alex's Pompeii Tour was by far the best tour we did. None of the other tour guides in any other attraction came even remotely close to how good Alex's tour was. He was interesting, informative and kept the kids really engaged and they learnt heaps about Pompeii. Thanks to Alex, Pompeii was our favourite attraction for our whole trip. I can't speak highly enough of Alex. His tour was fantastic. We we a group of 7, 3 adults and 4 children ranging ages 9-14. There wasn't a minute of boredom among the group. He was able to speak in both English and Italian to the mixed group. As an educator and a mom, I greatly appreciated the attention to detail and how he was able to keep us all engaged for the full tour. My only regret is that we couldn't take Alex with us to our other tourist spots.

Alex is the best kids tour in Italy end of. He was amazing with our son (10years old). The tour was perfectly timed and paced and even in the heat of late afternoon Alex ensured we had shade breaks and water stops - with stories and updates at every pause. The best thing about Alex is this was a kids tour and he was 100% focused on my son and his experience. He would k eel down and talk directly to him and engage him and respect his knowledge, improving and building on what my son already knew and didn’t know. Bravo Alex - after 3 weeks in Italy this is the tour to do!!!

Alex is a font of knowledge about Pompeii and makes the entire experience engaging and fun. Our tour with him was a highlight for our family during our time in Italy. He also took us to areas of the site that weren’t crowded (often we were the only ones there), which is quite the feat in August!

Our family of 4, including 2 boys aged 7 and 8, loved our tour of Pompeii with Alex. From the start, he grabbed their attention and key them engaged leading the exploration. Alex got us off the crowded paths to explore a beautiful Villa and take a peak at the new dig area. Taught us all about the hidden details of history all around us. The 2-hr timeframe was well packed and perfect length, especially with kids and Alex’s efficient and enjoyable methods. So thankful to Alex for this wonderful experience we will cherish in our memories forever.
