Roberto was an outstanding tour guide! His story telling was captivating with a touch of humor and levity. He stressed the importance of understanding history, even the dark history to truly understand Rome. He made this tour easily our favorite one of the week!

We did this tour on our first night in Rome. After our long overnight flight we were concerned we may be too tired, but Roberto was so riveting and entertaining that the time just flew by. Our group of 20 was large but he was easily heard and helped everyone navigate the busy streets and crowded sidewalks without any trouble. The stories we heard really helped visualize the history of each neighbourhood we walked through. Finishing at Castel Sant'Angelo was perfect, the castle, bridge and angels looked enchanting lit up at night.

A really captivating and well-paced tour. Our tour guide Serena was well knowledgeable and answered all the extra questions we had about the city and the life there. 1,5 hours went by flyingly, and we learnt a lot of interesting facts. It’s a great plus that the tour takes place in the evening, so those who cannot stand the heat that sometimes can be in Rome, it’s a perfect option for after dinner walk in more bearable temperatures than 36-degree sun.

Having visited Rome a number of times, my friend and I wanted to do something different. This tour was excellent. Serena, our guide, was an excellent storyteller who made the sinister side of Rome’s past come to life. This tour was well worth the money: I found out many things I didn’t know and saw many things I had never seen despite my many visits to Rome. Pop this on your list as an absolute must do!

This was such a fun tour!!! We visited different places along the way and Giacomo took us in his time machine back several centuries with 6 fascinating stories of ghosts, murders, executions, and betrayals. He was an AWESOME guide and kept us hanging on his every word during his various ghost stories. We highly recommend this tour!

Our host met us with a smile and intrigued us with a preface of the night to come. She proceeded to bring us up and down several streets, provide us with history and lore, and kept us wanting more! You would think a hour-ish walking tour would be enough- but it wasn’t! She was fabulous, and easily the BEST tour we did in Rome! To give you an idea we did the colosseum, Vatican, and pantheon tours. Not that they weren’t great sites to see, but the tours were “meh” in terms of entertaining and informative. Where the other tours were monotone, this tour was lively! I HIGHLY recommend this tour to ANYONE- you want history? You want fun facts? You want to walk away feeling you actually know more than you could read in a book? This is your tour!

Our tour guide was very nice; only reason it got two stars. However, with no headphones and normal nightlife, it was very hard to hear her with face masks. The first 4 stories were not very interesting and so we cut our losses and left. We did multiple tours in Rome and all of Italy and this was by and far our least favorite.

Our tour guide (Divan) was great. Besides the amazing stories and his enthousiastic way of speaking, he also gave amazing tips on food & drinks and the best places to find it. This is a great way to explorer Rome in a not so touristic setting.

This tour highlights some of the darker sides of Roman history and is packed with interesting stories. Roberto was an AMAZING tour guide and story teller. He brought history back to life. This is not your American ghost tour- it’s so much better. You get to visit sites and hear about some of the dark events that happened there. There are some ghost stories sprinkled throughout though- which are fun! Fun to do as a couple, with friends and teens!
