Overview
The Vatican Museums are among the largest in the world and there’s so much to see, it’s hard to know where to start. This private skip-the-line tour means you can explore at your own pace, but still have a guide on hand to point out all the highlights and ensure you don’t miss anything. A visit to St. Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel is also included.
What to Expect
Make your own way to Vatican City in central Rome to meet your private guide. Using your prepaid skip-the-line tickets, head straight inside through a special entrance and skip the long lines—even the priority ones.

With your guide on hand to point out all the highlights, set out on a tour of the vast Vatican Museums. Explore the Gallery of Maps, Gallery of Tapestries, and Gallery of the Candelabra. Visit the Pinecone Courtyard and the renowned Raphael’s Rooms, and marvel at works by artists such as Raphael, Caravaggio, and da Vinci.

As this is a private tour, be sure to tell your guide of any preferences you have or if you would like to spend longer in some rooms along the way. You will also get the chance to admire the Sistine Chapel, renowned for Michelangelo’s magnificent frescos including, The Last Judgment and The Creation of Adam.

After exploring the museums, stroll through St. Peter’s Square to visit St. Peter's Basilica, one of the world’s most famous churches. Inside, take the time to admire highlights such as Michelangelo’s La Pietà sculpture and Bernini’s bronze altar.

Your tour ends back in St. Peter’s Square.

Perfect Tour

Our guide was amazing. She got us past all the big lines and to the highlights of the Vatican museum effortlessly. I am so glad we got a private tour. It was a mob scene outside the museum (am told it is always like that).

Vatican tour with wheelchair

Emma was great. Knowledgeable and very helpful in getting my mother's wheelchair through the crowds. We couldn't imagine a better guide. Thank you Emma. Renting a wheelchair from the museum was simple. Just remember to bring your passport.

Amazing guide!

Fay was a great guide who provided an energetic tour of the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel. She provided little details that I would have missed, she was informative but not boring, and I get bored easily. Petmul1017414 promo code
