About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Travis A0 contributionsAmazing Way To See RomeWe had an amazing time on the tour with a family of six. Ask for Roberto who grew up in Rome and is passionate about his city! It is an amazing way to see the highlights and also hidden gems.Written 26 December 2024
- killay660 contributionsTake a Vespa tour with your own personal Roman driver/guide: the only way to see Rome! Two pals, two Vespas, two guides: ask for Matteo and Amel for the best personal tour of whatever you want to see with great humour, fun and historical knowledge. Safe, authentic, in and out of Roman traffic round the sites and up into the hills for the absolute best views/ shots of beautiful Roma. We stopped for ( specially chosen) cakes and coffee. Three hours flew by! Amazing morning. Thanks Matteo & Amel!Written 10 December 2024
- tejastarheel0 contributionsRainy Tour is the Vespa way to go!We had a great tour (in the rain no less) with Roberto and Simon. Roberto was a fabulous guide and provided valued insight on the attractions and is really as fascinated by Rome as if were experiencing it for the first time as well. The rain didn't damper the spirit and we had a great time and enjoyed the afternoon immensely!Written 3 October 2024
- Journey4027000 contributionsThis is the tour to do in Rome !This tour is the one to do ! This was my 12th visit to Rome and it’s hands down the best one I’ve done. Our guide Roberto at times almost reduced us to tears with his passion for Rome. Informative, adaptive and comprehensive we left Rome feeling we had not only done a tour but made a lifelong friend in Roberto. We did the bike tour 2 yrs ago with Bici Baci and didn’t think it could be topped.. It just was !Written 25 September 2024
- Suzasmile0 contributionsSo much fun!Hands down the most fun we have had in ages. From the moment we were collected from our hotel by Demetriou and Mounir and whisked away by Vespa, Demetriou enthralled us with his wisdom and tales of a fascinating historic city, the wonderful Roma. From the Colosseum and Roman Forum, Piazza Navona, Villa Borgese, Piazza Del Popolo, Piazza Republica to the Basilica of S. Maria del popolo and Augustine Hill and the Spanish Steps. We even were treated to a lesson on Caravaggio's art and shown where Keats resided and the home featured in Eat Pray Love. Demetriou's passion for Roma was infectious and his knowledge was second to none. Not to mention the thrill of zipping around this magnificent City on the back of a Vespa being driven by a master. Grazie mille Demtriou and Mounir. This tour is a MUST DO and worth every Euro.Written 22 September 2024
- ginamcbina120 contributionsFun trip around the major sites of Rome with experienced Vespa driversWe had a wonderful experience with Roberto and co. We had a group of three, two adults and one teen, and they took such great care of us. We had an experienced driver each and I was very glad I didn't have to drive! Roberto told us lots about the history of Rome at our many stops - we saw inside two amazing churches, went to a hill overlooking the Colosseum, and the whole of Rome, stepped into the Vatican City, stopped for a coffee & pastry and took in the view overlooking all of Rome. It was so much fun!Written 12 September 2024
- 147mirielleb0 contributionsVespa tour of RomeThis was by far the best tour decision we made in Rome! Max and Sergio picked us up at our apartment, asked what specific things we’d like to see and we were off! We’d stop periodically and Max would give us a fantastic history lesson. Driving through old neighborhoods, seeing the Colosseum, walking the Spanish Steps and learning about the Appian Way were just a few of the places we visited. It was just the coolest way to see the city and learn about places we never would have on our own. Highly recommend this tour! We’d give it 10 stars if we could! Max and Sergio for the win! We’ve told many people about this tour and I know they won’t regret booking it!Written 31 August 2024
- I3440MYclaireg0 contributionsSuper Vespa trip round RomeMy husband and I were picked up from our hotel by our drivers/guides, Roberto and Giacomo. I thoroughly recommend this trip if you want to see the familiar sights of Rome, but you will also be shown hidden treasures off the beaten track. We sat behind our guides who nipped between the traffic and over cobbled streets- it was such fun. Roberto is an amazing guide who was so friendly and clearly has a passion for Rome -he was so knowledgeable about its history. We also stopped for amazing gelato (so much better than the icecream in the UK) and a strong Espresso to send us on our way. We were only in Rome for a short weekend break, so this tour was perfect and we both enjoyed it so much. Do it, you won't regret it!Written 4 August 2024

- 725ronanm0 contributions5 stars!! Best way to see RomeTour guides were fabulous. Ask for Roberto, he knows his stuff and is extremely jovial. I was initially hesitant to get on a scooter, given how crazy the driving is in Rome. But always felt safe with the tour guides. Best way to see this beautiful city.Written 14 June 2024

Our Trip was made so much better and it was the highlight of our visit to Rome when we did a Vespa Tour with Bici Baci Vespa tours. The company went out of their way to find us a guide for the day, and all I can say is the man was a legend, Roberto was an excellent tour guide and extremely knowledgeable. He showed us places we would not have seen if we went alone, he was a gentleman and The staff at Bici Baci were super helpful. Can't wait for our next visit to Rome . Ciao ! We went on a group trip with fellow university students and it was super nice! Learned a whole lot about Rome and also had a lot of fun. It was not tiring at all even though we did the tour on a very very hot day - I can absolutely recommend it! We all agree that it was a great experience and I will for sure recommend it to any friend or family members travelling to Rome.
Also a huge thanks to our guide (unfortunately I don’t remember her name, but she was a very nice French lady) that truly taught us a lot, while also making us have the best experience. We also had her recommend a few places to see/eat, and those were also really great! Please listen if she recommends something to you, you won’t regret it!

Very positive experience! The use of an assisted bicycle allows you to reach places far from the centre, the Appia Antica and the splendid views from the Aventine and Janiculum. The passion and friendliness of Roberto, our guide, enhanced this tour! Roberto with his stories between past and present led us to relive, through the eyes of our imagination, the life of ancient Rome with an accurate historical reconstruction up to the present day! An exciting adventure to discover Rome in a new and engaging way! Thanks Roberto Bikes & kisses

It was a very nice bike tour along the beautiful sights. We had a nice Dutch guide, Henk, he was a very nice storyteller and gave us good tips.
There is a Vespa museum in the basement of the building that is free to enter and fun to take a look inside while you are there.

Anyone who has never experienced and seen Rome on a bicycle is an absolute must! We booked a private tour so there were only two of us plus the tour guide. Also we did not book the classic 08:15 tour of the city with all the typical sights but a round trip around the city with equally interesting details of the city.

We booked a three-hour private bike tour at the Via Cavour location and our guide Roberto took us on an easy, fun but interesting tour of Rome. We saw places and learned history without having to complete a doctorate. Roberto is a true Roman who does his job as a guide with passion and has a heart for Rome!
Thank you so much for this great experience.

It was a wonderful experience, a different way of visiting and appreciating Rome.
Roberto, a very knowledgeable and passionate guide about Rome, accompanied us.
With the electric bike we had the opportunity and time to see things that you wouldn't be able to do on foot from the center.
Truly a great idea!!! Thanks to my friend Andrea!!

We booked this tour for 31 of us on a business trip for the bike tour. We found them to be very professional and responsive. Due to bad rainy weather we had to cancel and they were very easy to deal with to cancel and provided a quick refund. We are sorry we couldn't go but we highly recommend your company and if we ever come to Rome again we will definitely rebook.

For my birthday I wanted to treat myself to this Vespa tour and share it with my daughter. Splendid experience, thanks to Roberto and Francesco for their professionalism. Without them I would have missed the visit to S. Pietro in Vincoli and the beautiful church of Santo Stefano Rotondo. Rome on a Vespa is an experience not to be missed, not to mention the tour of the Castelli Romani. The visit to the Abbey of S. Nilo is beautiful. The picnic in the Nemi square was unforgettable, with porchetta from Ariccia and a plate of exceptional cheeses provided by the local shop (I promised myself I would return). Roberto deeply loves his city and has an extraordinary ability to communicate this love to you. I absolutely recommend this experience.

Dear customer,
please note that the deposit that we ask for as guarantee for the rental of a bicycle or scooter requires us to do two different operation. The first one is the operation of PREAUTORIZZAZIONE that is the hold of the deposit amount which is done when taking the bike/scooter. When you come back, if the bike/scooter doesn’t have any damages, we immediately cancel the deposit with another operation i.e. CHIUSURA PREAUTORIZZAZIONE and/or STORNO CHIUSURA PREAUTORIZZAZIONE giving you the corresponding receipts. Sometimes it takes more days since your bank receives the communication of the cancellation from our bank as it deals with foreign credit cards. The waiting time also depends on the type of card, if it’s debit or credit. If you have a debit card it takes more weeks since the deposit is available again on your card.
Anyhow even if we don’t do any further operation, the operation of PREAUTORIZZAZIONE is automatically cancelled after one month as it’s just an hold of money, not actually a charge.
Please be kind to write an email to info@bicibaci.com in order to check your contract and send you the receipts of cancellation of your deposit.
I’m looking forward to receive your email in order to be able to help you. Many thanks.

Hello. I am interested in your tour. I want to know the safety of biking in Rome. Is it a large enough group that cars are careful or does the biking weave in and out of traffic? Thank you.
