Maximize your time at Rome’s Villa Borghese and explore the art collection with a prebooked ticket and guide. Saving you time waiting in admission lines, the tour takes you straight to the gallery highlights. Hear the stories behind works like Caravaggio’s St. John the Baptist, and learn about the gallery’s frescoed interiors as you explore. Numbers are capped at 15 for a small-group museum experience.
What to Expect
Meet your guide inside Villa Borghese and head straight into the museum space with your prebooked skip-the-line ticket.

As you walk, learn about the architecture and elegant interiors of the building, which was once only open to a privileged few. The art collection was only viewed by royals and nobility, but today the museum is open to all.

Discover Villa Borghese’s showpiece works, including Caravaggio’s St. John the Baptist and Bernini’s Rape of Proserpina. Hear the stories behind each masterpiece from your guide, and learn about Scipione Borghese, the eccentric cardinal who amassed the collection of artwork.

After viewing the main highlights of the museum, your tour ends back at the starting point.

The tour I took was 2 and a half hours. This includes a bit outside, as the museum only allows one to visit for 2 hours.
