A great way to experience Rome with a local.
Matteo knows this part of Rome quite well. He knew all the best street corners and architectural elements and how to photograph them. He was able to design the walk with emphasis to my interests - that being street photography. He is also very knowledgeable regarding technical details of photography and will give you useful insights to the extent you want them. In summary, it was great way to photograph a unique part of Rome.

A photography morning in Trastevere with Matteo
Matteo is an easygoing friendly bloke whose love of Roma is evident. We strolled the streets of Trastevere, keeping an eye out for likely photographs, & chatting. He helped me to see what the leading lines might be in photos of buildings & together we looked out for light & shade. In terms of photography, it was a very useful 3 hours & got me off my lazy iPhone & onto the camera. I could have spent the whole day wandering the backstreets of Roma with Matteo. Thank you.

Book a tour with wonderful Eleonora!
I was just in Rome with my daughter and nephew and booked a guided visit of Ancient Rome in English with Eleonora. The tour went above and beyond my expectations. Eleonora was knowledgeable, fun and perfect for our little group: a college student majoring in history, a high schooler with a keen interest in the classics and history, and me, a lifelong learner. Eleonora led us expertly through the ruins, alternating intriguing stories with hard facts giving us a solid foundation and understanding of life in Rome in the past, through the centuries, and up to the present day. The three of us absolutely loved our time with Eleonora and learned a great deal from her and our tour. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

      Fun family customizable tour
Simone was super flexible and had good communication. He was very knowledgeable about the city and took us to places that we never would have been to on our own. He was great with the kids and very patient with all of us. When we return to Rome we would book with him again!

Treasure hunt for kids in the Vatican and Sistene Chapel
We had a fantastic tour with Francesca. Our 2nd time at the vatican and getting a guided tour was definitely worth it. We learned so much more. Francesca did a wonderful job of engaging with our 10 and 5 yr old daughters to keep them interested in all of the different subjects. They had fun with the treasure hunt and they said they had so much fun. Highly recommend!

      Beautiful Day around Navona
Paola was incredibly knowledgeable about Roman history. She taught my husband, my two teenagers and I an incredible amount of information and showed us beautiful places that we never would have found on our own. She also answered many general questions we had about Italy, such as how the government system works etc. It was a wonderful day with Paola and we highly recommend her. Thank you Paola for such an incredible experience.

Cooking from scratch made fun and easy
I'm never ever going to buy ready made pasta sauce now that we learned from Massimo how easy and fun is to cook a delicious three course meal from scratch in no time. Me my wife and my 12, 15 and 24 y/o children had a blast cooking together with massimo and learning in the mean time about ingredients, history and bits and pieces of fun information. A couple of days after our "cooking lesson" we tried at home and made the most delicious Carbonara by ourselves. Cooking is fun and is a good way to spend family time. Thank you Massimo for your time and interesting conversation.

      Mid-day food tour option.
Eleonora was a great tour guide and this was a perfect tour for us to take just hours after arriving in Rome. Plenty of food was included and she provided us with the name / address of a place to try porchetta. We chose her because of her background in architecture, and she showed us and explained the significance of what we were walking by.

Amazing Colesseum , Palantine and Forum tour
Our experience with Pietro Palo made our trip to Rome come alive. He is extremely knowledgeable about Roman history and we were fascinated by the many stories and accounts he shared. He assisted us in visualising the colesseum, palantine hill and the forum back in the day. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him!

We spent our first afternoon in Rome with Daniele. He gave us a
wonderful overview of this beautiful city as well as accomodating my
son's love of Percy Jackson with a visit to the Pantheon.

He answered all of our questions and gave wonderful suggestions of other places to
go while we are here. Our only disappointment is that we only booked a
short tour with him, we should have booked an all day tour, as he knew
this city so well and was so interesting to listen to.

We spent our first afternoon in Rome exploring with Paola. We had a terrific time. Paola is so enthusiastic about the city and passionate about sharing all of her knowledge. We saw so much in such a short time, much of which we wouldn’t have appreciated without Paola’s kind guidance. She showed us so many of the small details, along with some iconic sites, which really made the city come alive. Thanks so much Paola for sharing your love of the city with us.

Eleanora gave us a fun and informative tour. Her friendly manner immediately but us at ease and it felt like we were exploring Rome with a friend. She picked up on our special interests (architecture and history) and showed us places and sites we wouldn’t have found on our own. We toured with Eleanora on our 1st full day in Rome, and it really helped us get oriented to the city. Highly recommend!

We arrived in Rome just a few hours prior to our kickstart tour with Leonardo. It was the perfect way to start our 5 day adventure! The meeting place was easy to find and Leonardo was quick to correspond via text messages. He showed us a few wonderful sights nearby in the Trastevere neighborhood that we would have overlooked had we been on our own. And then we continued on across the bridge to other sights and beautiful piazza’s as he shared his local knowledge and love of his beautiful city. I would highly recommend a kickstart tour with Leonardo!

It was great to tag along with Paola as she showed the five of us (family of three, uncle, and cousin) her local perspectives of Rome historical center.

Leaving us tips to discover the bucket-list sights for ourselves and at our own convenience, Paola shepherded us through those parallel streets and alleys that were blissfully empty of Rome’s tourist maelstrom. Peppering the conversation with historic trivia, pointing out traditional hangouts and sharing with us her childhood stops for coffee, tramezinno sandwiches and fruttolo fruit shakes.

All of us are looking forward to discover another district of Rome during a future walk with Paola!

It’s was like exploring Rome with our Italian cousin! Gabriele explained the local history and culture of the city as he showed us both well known and lesser known sites. We learned things we would not have read about in a guidebook or found ourselves, Ask him about looking for Mary!

Paola was nothing short of fantastic. My family and I learned so much about the history of Rome and we were shown places of the city that I do not think we would have ever seen without Paola's guidance. Paola was very energetic and you could tell she enjoyed sharing her knowledge of the the great city of Rome. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Manuela was very professional and accommodating as our plane was late, so we appreciated starting the tour 30 minutes later, and her great communications. Also allowed us to stop for gelato too! And provided some flexibility on the introductory tour.

We had the 90-min intro to Rome with Paula on the first day of our
visit. She met us near our hotel, quickly learned what we were
interested in and taylored the tour to our interests. Paula is
passionate about Rome and its history. She recommended reataurants,
best shopping, and best way to visit attractions and even caught a
drink with us at the end of our tour. It was great to get an intro to
Rome from a local - highly recommend the service in general and Paula
    in particular.

I recommend this, especially for your first or second or… trip to Rome. Daniele met us and familiarized us with areas of the city, gave us local tips and recommendations to experience a more local vibe. He gave us lots of history, interjected humor and helped us get our bearings day one. This is a perfect way to start your stay in this city!
