In the thirties, while digging the connecting tunnel between the two caverns, two mammoth tusks were found there.

Guided tour of cellar + wine tasting + snacks of typical products.

A selection of 4 wines + bruschetta with extra virgin olive oil, cold cuts and a mix of cheeses.

The menu is seasonal, and together with quality wines, is very traditional with fresh and organic ingredients from our farm or selected with cure from our organic neighbours.

For under 18 soft drink instead wine.

At the end of the tour the driver will take you back to your accommodation in Rome.

We went on a 7 day cruise to celebrate our 40th anniversary. From embarkation in Barcelona, we were not disappointed. The layout of the ship is very user friendly. We were on the 12th floor and our stateroom was very comfortable. The layoiut and ergonimics is brilliant. Our Stateroom attendant was very friendly and super efficient. She ensured our stateroom was always immaculately clean and gave it attention twice per day. The restaurants and food were of a very high standard and we enjoyed every meal. The breakfast and evening buffets were very enjoyable and the food well prepared and always fresh with huge variety. We dined in both Taste and Manhattan Restaurants a few times. These are non paying fine dining restaurants. The three course meals had variety and very well presented. We had the premium drinks package and this covered all our drinks for the entire cruise. A single malt whisky is included and very good wines. There is an abundance of dispensed water and ice so bottled water is unnecessary. We had one day at sea and this was adequate to explore the ship and enjoy the pools. We watched various shows and these were of a very high standard and very enjoyable. We also really enjoyed the art auction. We were impressed with the numerous hand sanitising stations. One of the biggest assets on this cruise is the very friendly, efficient and professional staff. It made our holiday even more enjoyable. This ship is super organised and this ensures a memorable experience!

Excellent Tour with Danila featuring WWII locations and museums
Danila Bracaglia, our tour guide, is high knowledgeable, having extensively researched the battlegrounds of Anzio Beach and other Allied forces landing areas during World War II. She picked us up at the Nettuno station and we began our tour at the Sicily Rome American Cemetery, a very beautiful tribute to the nearly 8000 men and women who gave their lives during this war, many who have been identified and others who remain unknown. Another 3000+ who were missing in action are memorialized. The cemetery has a wonderful video and a photographic timeline. We drove to Anzio Beach and then to Nettuno where she highlighted various aspects of these towns and their importance during the war. We had lunch together in Aprilia where only a statue of the Angel Michael remains. She then took us to 'Piana delle Orme', that has an amazing collection of wartime vehicles, and numerous exhibits depicting the war in the locations around the world, all with original uniforms, artillery, and maps. Danila was a pleasure to be with and we also thank Gianni for driving us to the different towns. During our rides, we were able to watch several videos relating to the important battles that took place in these forgotten areas. Danila will also customize your visit if you have relatives who fought in southern Italy. Don't miss this very special tour with Danila!

Best Day of our week of Cruising the Mediterranean!!
It's very hard to do Rome in a day, but Khan made sure we saw all the highlights (and more)!! He is very friendly, knowledgeable, and proud of his city! I have been to Rome twice before and was not sure how this was going to work, but it did! We were able to see Circus Maximus, Palentine Hill, The Forum, Emannuel II Vittoriono Monument, The Colosseum, The Spanish Steps, The Trevi Fountain, The Basilica of St. Maria Maggiore, have a delightful lunch, and tour the Vatican Museums, The Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica before arriving back on the boat by 5:30pm! Along with our fabulous driver, Khan, Rosario was a great tour guide for the Vatican tours! Add a tour guide to this excursion. I've seen the Vatican twice before, and this is the most informative visit. Great Day all around!

Cruise from Barcelona to Naples to Rome to Florence to Cannes to Isla de Malliorca back to Barcelona. A wonderful time!
The Cruise is amazing would do it again in a minute. The ´´Free Style is the best. You get to do whatever you want whenever. Very comfortable way to cruise. Every destination we visited was breathtaking. A real must do.

    Don’t do it by bus!!
You spend more time on the bus then you do on an actual tour! You get the briefest Naples tour and Pompeii they seem to have a deal with merchants they steer you to just before a worldwind tour and a lunch that is just disappointing!!! I had growing teen boys please tell me how 1 slice is suppose to be okay?!!! They did serve spaghetti after the one slice but it wasn’t good and the pasta wasn’t cooked all the way! I really was disappointed. I pointed this out to my tour guide whom I found downstairs enjoying a full plate of food way more appetizing then what was on our preset menu! If I had a do over I would NEVER BOOK THIS!!! People left our tour group to find their own way back to Rome exploring on their own. This was not what I expected it to be. Walking tour where u point across the street saying that is the most popular eatery or sweets shop and more likely to spot a celebrity then keep walking why can’t we at least cross the street to look into the window?!!! Totally let down. What’s with the paid toilettes in Pompeii after the jewelry shop we were steered into for a “bathroom break” after the long bus ride - closed

Our Driver, Kevin, was so kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable, professional and skilled in his position. Lisa extremely knowledgeable, sweet, helpful and considerate. They made this trip special for our whole family. I would HIGHLY recommend either or both of them as well as this site. I wish we had more than a day on this tour

    VERY CONVENIENT
This was the perfect solution for what we needed to get to see Rome in a VERY short amount of time before we had to get to our cruise ship. We didn't have enough time after our cruise ship arrived back in port to check out Rome due to our flights. My only complaint was the our driver didn't really speak great English as the description said, therefor our tour guide couldn't really give us great descriptions of what we were seeing. This is the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. Worth the money for how convenient and easy this was.

    Outstanding service
Antonio picked us up in Naples with side trips to Pompeii and a local vineyard for wine tasting and a delicious 4 course meal followed by a trip to Sorrento to our hotel. Our driver was gracious, courteous, charming, knowledgeable, on time, and a great driver. Booked him for two more trips to the Amalfi coast and back to Naples at the end of our visit. Should have accepted his offer to return to Rome as it was not as easy as planned and only cost about 50 euros more than I paid to fight two trains and a taxi ride. . Would recommend them highly.

    Perfect in every way
I was travelling with my husband and my sister and brother in law. I booked the trip to Tivoli online, The whole process was quick, easy and efficient. We asked if we could start our day a bit later than the usual 9am pickup and it was agreed immediately. Our driver Angelo arrived at our hotel punctually and could not have been more helpful during the trip. He was friendly and courteous and pointed out several landmarks as we drove along. He recommended and escorted us to a restaurant in the old part of Tivoli for lunch. This turned out to be a wonderful venue with stunning views and delicious food. We visit Rome regularly and we will definitely use Italy Best Excursions again.

    too much to enjoy
Half-day leaves you wanting more time to explore, sit and contemplate or investigate all these destinations have to offer. The guide was informative, polite and suggested how to plan for limited time at each stop.

Montecassino, Rapido River and ruins of San Pietro Infine
Dr. Danila Bracaglia was a first rate tour guide with extensive knowledge of the area and the military operations during WW2. Tour was enhanced with maps, photos and videos. I wanted to see the area because a family member served in the 36th Division which fought there. I feel fortunate to have found Dr. Bracaglia and would highly recommend her tour service to anyone with an interest in the Italian Campaign.

    Amazing
Visited Pompeii not knowing too much about it and I was totally amazed at all the history and my guide was so knowledgeable she made it so interesting. I did my tour with “Walks of Italy” and we also went to Positano. It was a great day out of Rome but quite long 12-13 hours depending on traffic but well worth it

    Drink a lot of water
It’s hot in the summer but we where lucky enough that it wasn’t crowded. The private tour was worth every penny. He was a on site archeological student with perfect English.
