Overwhelming collection to be enjoyed

I got a last minute ticket at my hotel from the internet. It was the last one on my last day on Rome and at 5 pm to 7 pm. They strictly monitor this by clearing out the villa every two hours so you have to be on time and a little bit earlier for more time. It cost 20 euros and we’ll worth it. The top floor are the painting from different centuries with well know Italian artists The second floor are the sculptures and they are exceptional samples of this by major artists. Then on both floors their are mural on every wall and ceiling. I don’t think you could really take it all in on one visit. I rented the audio guide and glad I did once I figured out how to follow it. Great description and history of the major pieces I think you’d be missing out without one for 5 euros. You are not allowed to photograph inside the galleries but shop has post cards, picture books and more.
After my time was over in the Gallery I walked around some of the garden and enjoyed seeing them. It is also located in the park where there is a zoo and many other things to explore

Nice place to visit
Apr 2019
If you like art & sculptures, then this is worth a visit. Warning, pre-book & you go direct to "Roma museums", if you don't you'll be disappointed. you get 2 hrs, to view, before next group, oh & it's closed on Mondays to public. 1 1/2 is plenty. there's a cafe there & toilets. Get there about 1/2 an hr before, so you can put bag in storage. note: you can't get in before your time! plenty to see by Bernini, some fabulous sculptures & ceilings to admire.

didn't manage to visit Borghese Gallery
Feb 2019 • Friends
unfortunately we did not manage to visit BORGHESE Gallery on 5th February. The Gallery was closed due to dismantling Picasso Exhibition . we received a phone call from a kind Mr. Jenkins to inform us of this at 2pm although our entrance ticket was for 11 am and we had already gone to Borghese Gallery at appointed time and had found out of the closure from a poster on the door of the Gallery. have already send an email to tour operator ANNO DOMINI asking for refund but no reply so far. hope we receive a refund .

Dear Sir/Madam, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We regret you were not satisfied. Unfortunately, the Borghese Gallery was closed unexpectedly, and we did try to contact you through the company you used to book the tickets in order to reschedule. We sent emails and left messages, but you never replied. I am surprise you say someone from our company called you, because we have no record of such a call and there is no Mr. Jenkins who works for us. Ultimately, the fact that the Gallery was closed was beyond our control. Furthermore, we have not received any request for a refund. Please, make sure you request a refund to the company you used to book this service, which was not Anno Domini. You booked through a distributor, Viator. Finally, this review does not in any way regard our work, since you have not been able to actually use our services nor did you book through us. Kindest regards, Sev

Give yourself some time to enjoy the park
Jul 2018 • Family
On of the most interesting museums I have ever seen. No need to get front of the line since groups are limited in size and only allowed 2 hours to tour. The park is very relaxing and it was very enjoyable to walk thru on the way to the train. I wouldn’t take the train there since it’s connected by a very intricate tunnel system but going back it was easy. A cab will drop you right where you need to be if you tell them your going to the museum and not the park.
