I booked the private Vatican Tour that included the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica for our family of 5. Our tour guide, Latizia, was absolutely wonderful. It was crowded and she zipped in and out of the crowds to get us the best experience possible. She knew where to go to get the most out of the tour despite the crowds. She asked us in advance what we were most interested in, she answered all our questions and was the nicest addition to our family tour, We left learning so much more than we expected. I highly recommend for an extra special experience.

Best tour we have ever had. Very reasonable in terms of cost, and the guide Tommaso had a very intimate insight into the history of both Rome and the Vatican we visited. Planning the trip was a pleasure - they responded to our questions and made great suggestions that proved to make the trip even better. We booked via Viator which at first was a bit overwhelming as it has many options to book tours. I am so grateful we chose this tour in particular. It was just the two of us and our guide Ferdinando. Ferdinando’s knowledge and expertise was exceptional. We will go specifically to him the next time we visit Rome.

We did the Best of Rome full day tour. If you have limited time in Rome but want to see everything, this is the way to go. Sara was an amazing guide. Very informative and friendly. This is a fast paced tour with lots of walking.

Guide was informative and professional. The museum, chapel and basilica were outstanding, incredible, meeting and exceeding our high expectations. However, the crowds were abominable and made the experience not worth the very, very high cost.

Philip was our guide for the morning and he did a great job of helping us navigate the crowds but still making sure we made it to all the best viewing points. He even made sure we had some great family photos as well. Philip was exceptionally knowledgeable and personable. Tomasso was our private tour guide for the Vatican, Saint Peter and the Sistine chapel. He was very specific and explaining each building and the architecture behind it. He was incredibly knowledgeable as he explained about any paintings, mosaic tiles, tapestries that are in the Vatican museum and of course very very specific information regarding Michelangelo and Sistine chapel and the background behind it. He explained the difference between the Vatican and Italy. He spoke about multiple Popes and was able to share and explain which pope commandeered what statue or tapestry and so forth. His enthusiasm completed the tour. This tour was about three hours.
