Maria was an excellent guide! Wealth of historical knowledge on the Jewish Ghetto. All the foods tasted were superb. Omg the best pasta, pizza, gelato, tiramisu and artichoke ever. The portions were perfect. This evening tour was the best and worth the money

Great start in Jewish ghetto and understanding of jewish life in Rome. Tasting of Jewish roasted artichokes was a highlight. Underground restaurant was interesting and the final stop for coffee and gelato was a hit.

Had a very engaged tour guide who made the whole thing so much fun! The tour is in Trastevere and we ate everything from stew made using a 4th century recipe to gelato. In between there was pork, cheeses, wine and cookies!

My 10-year-old daughter was thrilled to go on a tour that seemed designed just for her. Our guide Julia met us at the Piazza del Santa Croce and took us to the must see sites around Florence. Along the way she enticed our daughter with a "treasure" hunt that ended with a prize (at the end of the tour) for the winner. My daughter was very intrigued by the hunt which was fun and educational. All of the adults were also into it. Our guide Giulia was engaging, informed and clearly enjoyed bringing this experience to children. We ended with the best gelato we'd had on the trip. In addition to being fun, we felt this tour was a real bargain compared to some of the others.

What a great little tour with an awesome guide named Guilia (Julia). She had so much passion talking about the beautiful city of Florence and was able to keep my 7yo entertained. Actually our whole family was involved in fun activities she implemented. We walked through the city enjoying some amazing sights and locations and capped off the afternoon with some delicious gelato. Great tour, highly recommend. Thank you Guilia for the wonderful tour and the great pictures.

We had a very good tour with Leonardo who took us through Florence giving us a very good orientation / history background of this fascinating place

Roberto was a very awesome and knowledgeable guide! Our experience with this tour was awesome! The stops we made and the food we had were all fantastic and Roberto was so nice and accommodating to our needs and making sure we had a great tour.

Well what can I say? This tour was one of the greatest food tours in Rome. If in Rome you must experience this wonderful tour. Our Guide Georgia was so sweet, kind and very knowledgeable about the food of Rome. She took us to so many restaurants and we had such an array of wonderful tastes. My husband and I were so full but she took us to the best Gelato in Rome!!!!!! We even wanted to take her home with us!!!!

We did the Child Friendly tour on our first night in Rome and thoroughly enjoyed it. Marco was brilliant - loads of info, and relayed in a fun way. My daughter (13) and I both agreed it was our favourite activity from our long weekend in Rome :)

Alessia helped with the arrangement of our 2 weeks Italy vacation and each guide she assigned to us were extremely knowledgeable and passionate. Without them we would not have discovered so much about each city, their uniqueness and beauty. We did the Last Supper tour, Vatican City, Colosseum, Almafi Coast, Pompeii and Venice. The guides were very accommodating and patient towards our youngest child who is 5 who sometimes got grouchy under the summer heat. All in all we had a wonderful time in Italy and this wouldn’t be possible without Made In Italy Tours. We highly recommend the company and we have also shared with our friends who are planning to visit soon.

We arranged for a driver from the Naples train station and a personal guide at Pompeii. Our driver Max was so friendly and told us interesting facts about each area we drove through. He was super flexible about stopping where we wanted and made sure we didn't miss our return train. Our guide at Pompeii Lello was top notch! He was not only friendly and informative but he was funny and kept the tour fun. If you go to Pompeii ask for Lello you will not be disappointed.

I arranged a private 3 hour tour of the Vatican including the Museum, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's on line and they delivered a terrific service. My guide was Niccolo was extremely knowledgable and helpful. I can't say enough good,things about what a great value it was, especially seeing the lines and crowds the general tourists were facing. We made a very last minute request of Made in Italy Tours - we wanted a private tour of the Colosseum and its surrounds for the following day. Nina promptly obliged with a 3 hour walking tour lead by Tomasso of the Colosseum, Palatine Hill and ending with the Forum the next afternoon. Our guild Tomasso was perfect. Tomasso is a young Roman archaeologist who just happened to be working the new train station site adjacent to the Colosseum. His life long love for Rome, it's history and the bonus - his background in archaeology brought these three treasures to life. Very much from the heart and we got caught up in his emotion. Also, Nina knew we were heading to Florence and helped us find and hand us off to Private Tours of Florence - can't say enough about them as well.
