A lot of fun, driver was interesting to talk to, showed us a few places that were a bit off the radar. We started with the Catacombs, which are of course pretty interesting in their own right, if only for the fact that they were lost and rediscovered. Then we were taken to several different churches and several different viewpoints. I enjoyed it a lot.

This tour was a rich historical and cultural experience particularly made enjoyable by the regard of Alan and Massimo ( alternatively guide and driver) for my wife’s accessible needs. The places we visited were brought to life by their deep knowledge of Italian history and culture and they were excellent company for the day tour. We also had a wonderful wine tasting experience where we were left with time and space to enjoy as a couple. I would strongly recommend this tour and we will be coming back to use the same service.

Barbara and Alan were awesome! They were very accommodating for my elderly mother and I. The level of knowledge that the two of them have knocked my socks off. It was an amazing experience and I think I got even more out of it KNOWING what I’m looking at, when it was built, why was it built etc. I’m a history fan and this was well worth the money. Absolutely don’t hesitate.

I wanted to take a certain trip to visit the town of Ravello and the cameo factory there. I could not find a tour like this online offered by any of the popular tour companies. So, I contacted "Best Limos in Rome" and Alan got back to me immediately and designed a lovely private tour which included my request to see the cameo factory along with a lunch reservation with a spectacular view and a variety of other sites along the way with interesting information about the region. Having Barbara along as a co-guide worked out very well - especially when there were issues with parking - as Barbara could accompany me while Alan was managing the vehicle. A "solo" private tour has the potential to be awkward at times, but Alan and Barbara managed to give me just the right balance of company and privacy. Everything was both professional and friendly. This tour was one of the highlights of my visit to Italy.

We had a stellar day with Barbara and Fabio. They were very knowledgeable about Tivoli and Rome but what made them extra special was how they made sure all of our needs were met. Our well being was their genuine priority. They went out of their way to take care of us. When we come back to Rome we will definitely contact Fabio and Barbara! Alen put together an amazing road trip from Rome to Genova for my family and I. We got to see a lot of beautiful places along the way and stay in some great places. Alen and his buddy Fredrico made our experience great with all their knowledge and laughter. We will definitely book with Alen when we visit Italy again.

Pickup at airport in Rome. Day tour of Rome with ride at end of day to Assisi. Travel to Florence for day tour and back to Assisi. Allen and Andrea were great. Very knowledgeable and helped us to enjoy our 2 days. Would highly recommend.

We were very fortunate to have Allen before. So when we went back, of course we would use Allen again. This time we met his friend Federico. We had a great time with both men. Our road trip was filled with lots of laughter. Both men together are a great comedy team. (I don't think they know that) Our road trip from Rome to Genoa was made extra special because we requested bed & breakfast places to stay. No chain hotels and they delivered. We wanted to see Italy from doing small little excursions. That's what is nice about Allen's tour. He caters to what you would like to see. We did a train ride for a day (stopping at various locations), did a wine and food pairing, experienced some great places to eat and saw fantastic historical sites. When we go back to Italy, we would definitely call Allen again.

Great tour with highlights of the city that you think you will see but you won’t if you don’t let them drive you there and give you the history.
