This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Obelisco del Foro Italico, Piazza Lauro de Bosis Viale del Foro Italico, 00135 Rome Italy

First discover the Foro Italico, once known as the Foro Mussolini, a sports complex built by ‘Il Duce’ in hope that Rome would host the 1940 Olympic Games which of course never took place because of the outbreak of the Second World War.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Palazzo della Civilta Italiana, Quadrato della Concordia Eur, 00144 Rome Italy

Then let our guide take you back through history in EUR, Mussolini’s greatest architectural project, now a haunting memory of Italy’s past. See the Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana, sometimes referred to as the ‘Square Colosseum’, before comparing it to the real deal and noticing the similarities between the architecture of Ancient Rome and that of the Fascist era as you once again return to the heart of the Eternal City.

Pompei shuttle and guided tour
Wonderful experience! We were picked up at the meeting point very close to our Airbnb and we were met by Catia who was very friendly and informative. She kept the 3 hour ride to Pompei from Rome very interesting but also allowed time to rest before reaching our destination. From there, we met our guide Frankie (follow Frankie!) through the ancient roads of Pompei. Frankie was fantastic! He was entertaining, very knowledgeable and accommodating. He made our long journey seem like a flash! His laugh was infectious! This is one of the best experiences we had in all of Italy! Grazie to everyone who made our trip so memorable! I wish I could give more stars!

Interesting tour with fantastic guide
We booked this tour whilst on our trip to Rome and we were so glad that we did this. When we arrived at the Colosseum the lines to get in were completely crazy. Luckily as we had booked skip the line we were able to go straight through. We were upgraded from this tour as ours was postponed which then included under the Colosseum which which was very interesting. Our guide Nora was fantastic and informed us of all the interesting facts as we walked round the Colosseum, Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum. You could see that she loved her job and was amazing at it. Thanks Nora :)

Colesseum dungeon, roman orum and hill priority
Nora our guide was brilliant.Shared her passion and wealth of knowledge on Roman history simply and patiently. Highly recommend her she took the time to make this a visit to remember. The dungeons and arena were visited in a small group and gave insight into a gladiators life. Nora explained life in Rome the different eras.

Day trip to Villa D’este
It was so nice to escape the crowds of busy Rome and enjoy the coolness of the hills at Tivoli. Giuseppe our guide took us on a tour of his home town and he had such an extensive knowledge and his lovely personality added to the day. Villa D’este is truely one of Italy’s great gardens and was a memorable experience.

Awful experience
This is by far the worst experience, if you are looking for visit Vatican Museums on your own pace and thinking the ticket that they sent to you is the museum ticket then you are wrong. First of all, you don’t know the place and you were suppose go to a place to meet with a tour guide which is totally not what you expected. This is false advertisement, so, Don’t DO It!!!

Hilarious and insightful tour
We had the joy of spending three hours with Julius our tour guide, as he took us round the Colleseum (through the gladiator entrance with no queue) and Palatine hill and the Forum. The guide was hilarious and insightful in equal measure and we would reccomend him to everyone.

Request Mircea as your Guide!!
So I am guilty... like many of you reading this.. in the sense that we rely on review sites but never take the time to contribute. Well this should speak volumes of my experience today that I felt obligated to share. I always take my time to plan trips because I feel like vacations are limited and I want the best experience within my control. This time around I told my wife I just wanted to “show up”. A family friend is getting married on the Almafi Coast so naturally for my first trip to Europe we had to go to Rome. Sticking with my “just want to show up attitude” my day started long and disorganized. I could spend time telling you why but let’s get to the point. We met our guide Mircea Marciu for our second tour of the day at the Coliseum(squeezing two in one day can be exhausting but possible if time is against you). Our group was dragging a little but we were excited. Mircea quickly fed us with the fuel we needed... “Good energy and good vibes”. And off we went... he really grabbed my attention immediately. He was able use history to present the Coliseum from multiple perspectives. Allowing you see if from the eyes of every level of society. What the Coliseum meant to emperors down to slaves. Much more engaging than walking around following someone who’s spitting facts left and right. It’s not always easy to put things into perspective but he did an excellent job. For example, he emphasized the precision of the of the structure, the distance those very large cement blocks traveled, the amount of people that made it possible, explaining how advanced it was for a society during that era. Incredible experience! Book this tour and request Mircea! You won’t regret it!!

A must do when in Rome
This is a super trip - two UNESCO world heritage sites in one day. I’ve been to Rome many many times and have had this on my list for ages but finally visited this September. The tour is so well organised and the guide (Giuseppe) was super knowledgeable / brought the history of both places to life ( we even learned some Italian !). The sites are both specular in different ways - Can’t recommend it enough. Top marks! If you are visiting yourself recommend you go to Hadrian’s villa first ( as per the tour)

Perfect for an "on your own" day
Reminder to buy entrance voucher for Pompeii site on own (online), if you don't want the tour guide. Informative and comfortable. More information/history was given then I expected on bus ride -Thank you! I would have given a five rating, except I was nervous when bus driver talked on cell phone while driving.

Chose the VIP tour , entrance straight onto the arena floor . Barbara our tour guide was fantastic, really informative. We were a group of about 18 adults which was an ideal sized group. Amazing learning experience
Rosalia Gangemi was an amazing tour guide, very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. Very aware of her tourists and respectful at all times. No hassle from meeting place to tour, no mean feat with the shear volume of people doing similar tours from all over the World!

Amazing tour of Tivoli
Our guide Giuseppe was amazing he was so knowledgeable and passionate about the area and history. Hadrian's villa was such a highlight and with Giuseppe's narrative of how things looked he brought it all to life. A stop in Tivoli for lunch and the on to Villa d'Este with it's world Heritage gardens, so impressive with incredible gravity powered waterfalls and water pipe organ. Absolutely magnificent. This tour was an absolute highlight of our trip.
