About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Stephanie W0 contributionsGreat intro to the city and its street foodInteresting tour with facts and humour about Naples, customs, and of course, food! Well paced, good variety, good produce and good value for money. Marco was an excellent tour guide who was friendly, inclusive and enthusiastic, and seemed to know the city and its food vendors very well! I recommend this tour to anyone new to visiting the city and wanting to find their feet.Written 21 March 2025
- maripF5961NB0 contributionsA true Neapolitan experienceMario was a fantastic guide whose enthusiasm and energy and local knowledge of the area made the tour fun and very informational. The food spots he took us too were divine. A true Neapolitan experience!Written 16 December 2024

- Trina1100 contributionsVisit the Rialto Fish Market if in Venice!Amazing fish market! Such a treat to get to try new produce I've never tasted before. a lot of vendors and opportunities for shopping. The fish looked so fresh and inviting.Written 7 November 2024
- 487merylem0 contributionsFun & tasty food tour!Daniella was wonderful! She shared stories about her city, Napoli, & sooo much food! Everything was very good - antipasti, 2 types of pizza, fried pasta, pastries, limocello & gelato!! Highly recommend this fun & tasty tour!Written 26 October 2024
- trici470 contributionsGreatMario was wonderful!! This was a highlight of our Naples visit. The food was excellent and Mario was so knowledgeable about the city and gave us great tips. We will definitely recommend this food tour! NJ here!Written 12 October 2024
- david84460 contributionsNice sampling of Naples' food, but quality could be betterOur guide was great, but the locations we stopped at seemed to cater to tourists and each had mediocre Tripadvisor reviews themselves. One of the stops had prepared the food enough in advance that it was cold by the time we arrived and another was a chain with many locations across the city.Written 9 October 2024
- Q4859ZGcharliej0 contributionsGood priceYou'll pay a good price for this, which is nice compared to other food tours. I thought it was nice. A lot of the food was oily or fishy, though there were other options, so I had a hard time finishing, but if you don't have fish earlier in the day, it is nice.Written 8 October 2024
- Bernie K0 contributionsDeep Fried Food TourOur tour was at 5.50pm on our ticket. We were told to be there a minimum of 15mins prior. Our tour guide turned up at 6.20pm and the tour began at 6.30pm (one hour after we arrived). Our tour guide Sara was lovely though and it wasn’t her fault, seemingly the office stuffed up (with others in our group too). The food was good but way too stodgy and too much fried/greasy food. There was plenty of food, all with heart attack potential - ie deep fried pizza, deep fried pasta!! We had hoped to hear about places we passed along the way, but it literally was about the food and we were only given information at each stop as there were no headphones or audio along the way. We did have a lovely stop for Limoncello and a good gelato at the end of the tour. And Sara did make recommendations at the end of the tour too - she was a friendly and enthusiastic local girl, but the tour didn’t meet our expectations.Written 30 September 2024
- davidlC6973WS0 contributionsNothing like a knowledgeable local guideWe were in Naples for just a day, a stop on a Mediterranean cruise, and this was a perfect was to see and learn about the historic city and sample the best food Naples has to offer. Daniela was a phenomenal guide -- very funny, warm and excellent English. I think we tried eight or nine different types of food and limoncello. We definitely didn't need dinner that night. Go hungry. You won't be at the end. Not only was the food excellent, but so was the tour of the historic central district of Naples. Learning so much about Naples and its history was a bonus. We never could have done such a trip on our own. Too many restaurants and gelato shops. How do you know which one to try? Thanks goodness for Daniela. And even though the central district was packed with people, Daniela always seemed to have food waiting for us wherever we stopped. I'd been to Naples before but this gave me a new appreciation.Written 28 September 2024
- Scenic693220 contributionsStreet food tour captures the spirit of Naples! We thoroughly enjoyed our guided Naples food tour with Valeria. She was a great host, very knowledgeable about Naples history and culture and we loved her dry sense of humour. We don’t know any other Neopolitans but we think we met the true spirit of Napoli in Bella Valeria! The food on the tour was varied and plentiful. You don’t need to eat for the rest of the day!Written 27 September 2024

During the day, Campo de' Fiori hosts an open-air market, known for selling fresh fruit, vegetables, flowers and other food products while at night, Campo de' Fiori transforms into a place frequented by locals and tourists. The square is surrounded by restaurants, cafes, bars and ice cream parlors, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere. In the center of the square there is a statue dedicated to Giordano Bruno, a 16th century Italian philosopher and scientist. The statue was erected in the 19th century and is a significant landmark.

We were transferred to this tour at short notice but Francesca our wonderful guide was so passionate & knowledgeable that we didn’t mind not doing our original, longer tour. The sights and insights into the food, wine and districts was so interesting that the 2.5 hours flew by! Thank you Francesca!
