About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Tourist061804014230 contributionsNo professional companyThey're totally not professional. We booked and paid prior for our transfer to the airport in Rome. But they didn't show up. We had to take contact ourselves. First there was a lot of traffic and later there was a car breakdown. They didn't want to sent another taxi so we had to arrange the tranfer to the airport ourselves. Don't book with this guys - they 're awfully expensive too!Written 4 July 2023
- Happiness2516900 contributionsAwful. Not reliable. Guide just didn’t turn upHorrible. When I could not find a guide and calling the provide number, I was informed that the tour was cancelled “because tickets were not available “. It was open, people were coming in, I booked few months in advance and got a confirmation 24 hours in advance. Literally shaking with rage here. Thank you for my day spoiled!Written 14 July 2022
- T2266TDjoanm0 contributionsBorghese Guided Tour Rip offBe careful booking the guided tour of Borghese Gallery. We bought two tickets at a cost of €69 for a 2.5 hour tour which started at 5.45 . The tour lasted 1 hour and the gallery closed . The guide was very unhelpful, told us that this happened all the tme because it’s the last guided tour of the day . She knew we had paid for 2.5 hours and rushed the tour , we missed a lot of important art . We were ripped off , all of the group were disgusted as there was no come back , our money was paid .Written 10 April 2022
- Sarah B0 contributionsDon’t use trip advisor for entrance tickets!Link to ticket would not open regardless of WiFi connection. Standing outside the museum and unable to enter. Giant rip off! Buyer beware!Written 17 March 2022
- dariobt0 contributionsA Guided Tour of This Museum is Highly RecommendedGalleria Borghese is not a large place and navigating it on your own is certainly doable if you have time on your hands. But the guided tour will walk you through the highlight pieces in the whole collection and you can see the other pieces on your own after the tour. Our guide Ludovica's rich and enthusiastic descriptions, the history, and personal commentaries on the highlight pieces in the Borghese collection gave me a much greater appreciation for the said art pieces. Unfortunately, photography in this gallery is not allowed. The stairs to the second level is 80 steps but there is a lift available for persons with disability. The toilets are clean but have only few stalls, may get crowded in peak season.Written 24 February 2020
- Oniba0 contributionsWow! Magnificent Roman public bath viewed in 4D!With the help of 4D technology, we were able to imagine how it would have looked 2000 years ago. The audio guide was very helpful along with the 4D, and gave me insight of what the life might have been like then. The signs for each spot to stop and view/listen were not very clear, so I had to wander and look for it couple of times, though.Written 17 September 2019
- Travel205235076910 contributionsWondeful MuseumThe most renowned masterpieces by Bernini and Caravaggio are displayd here! Here you can enjoy pure Art without the mess you find in the Vatican Museums. The Gallery is surrounded by the enchanting gardens of Villa Borghese. Really a very relaxing placeWritten 8 June 2019
