About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Freedom381957979880 contributionsAwesome Tour!Tommaso was so knowledgeable about all the artwork in the Vatican! It was an awesome tour. Luckily, he was quick and got us to be able to climb the duomo before they closed their doors for the day.,Written 5 April 2024
- GoPlaces122958648000 contributionsGreat Experience! We had a great tour of the colosseum abs the Vatican. Claudia was very nice, informative and accommodating. Would highly recommend.Written 6 August 2023
- Vulture2207680 contributionsAn amazing tour covering over 2000 years of historyWe had the best day ever in Rome, our tour guide Angelica was fantastic. The tour includes fast track entry to the Colosseum and Vatican. The tour can be tailored to your demands, and was the highlight of the trips we took on our vacationWritten 20 September 2022
- James D0 contributionsFull day tour of RomeDriver picked us up at our hotel and drop us at the Colosseum, where we meet our tour guide Romina. Highly recommend this tour if you are in Rome a a day. We hit all the major sites. Our tour guide Romina was outstanding. She tailored the tour to our group and my family truly enjoyed her detailed tour. Be advised this is a full day walking tour, we did the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Vatican Museum and St Peter's. Can't saw enough good things about our Tour guide, she was wonderful.Written 22 June 2022
- RitaLynch6120 contributionsWonderful tour!Do you think that you might want to skip the line to see the Colosseum AND have a tour guide who is an archeologist? Then book this tour! Our guide, Paola, was very informative & we thoroughly enjoyed the tour with her. The pace of the tour was perfect, we had plenty of time at all of the locations included in the tour.. Paola is passionate about Italy & archeology, this made the tour so valuable. When we were leaving the Colosseum admittance was on hold (only a certain number of people are allowed inside at a time) so we were glad that we had done the skip the line tour.Written 7 January 2020
- Linda F0 contributionsExcellent TourWe were picked up at our hotel by Marc and he actually had time to drive us around before meeting our guide at the Colisuem. He took us to Trevi Fountain before the crowds got there! We met our guide Claudia at the Colosseum and she did a very informative tour and took our pictures. From there we walked to the Forum, to the Pantheom, to Trevi Fountain (she told us how to throw the coins), Navona Square and then she took us to a restaurant where she helped us choose what to order and gave us unstructions on meeting our afternoon guide. After our lovely lunch we took a taxi to the Vatican where we found Irene holding a sign with our name on it. Irene gave us a lot of information inside so we wouldn't have to stand in the hot sun while she talked. She gave us a lot of insight into Michaelangelo's paintings at the Sistine Chapel and a lot of information about St. Peter's Basilica. She took our pictures and gave us instructions to get to the Hop on-Hop off bus stop. (We had purchased a 2 day bus pass so we used it to get back to our hotel) Loved the tour, but be aware this is a walking tour. We learned a lot because of our knowledgeable guides.Written 11 October 2019
- michaelpE9484OD0 contributionsFull day Rome Private Tour with TommasoNot sure what ever happened to Viator’s Tommaso but we were treated to Sylvia for this full day tour. A driver picked us up at our northwest area hotel on time and drove us to a meeting area near a Coliseum fountain where we were immediately greeted by our tour guide, Sylvia. This lady is amazing. She had a backpack full of maps, books, pictures and info that gave us all the insights that a group tour would have ignored. We defined our desires up front (places to see and time back to the hotel) and she created our 6-7 hour itinerary. This was a “walking tour” that wasn’t super clear in the Viator advertisement. It worked out fine. Started at the incredible Coliseum with all the “skip the line” privileges then on to the Forum, Pantheon, huge fountain (my bad I can’t recall the name). Nice lunch in a corner cafe before taking a cab to the Vatican. Sylvia spent a good 15 minutes showing us a picture of the dome at the Sistine Chapel and explained all the paintings. So we arrived eager and educated. This included a full tour of the amazing Vatican Museum then St Peter’s Basilica with Sistine Chapel in between. At the end of the tour she showed us on our map where to catch a cab back to our hotel (short walk). Everything was exceptional. I’m still not sure who the tour company was since Tommaso was a “no show” but we were delighted who Viator ended up selecting. I highly recommend Sylvia. She knows more about Rome and the Vatican than the Pope😆Written 9 October 2019
- bak1000 contributionsMarvelous Tour with Tommaso!!!!!My husband can not say enough good things about our tour with Tommaso. His passion and knowledge for Rome it contagious! He created a 3 1/2 tour based on what my husband and I hoped to see during our short stay in Rome. What a wonderful time we had. I almost wish we had taped our tour as Tomasso was a wealth of information about everything we saw. I highly recommend that Tommaso be your guide on any sights you might want to see in Rome! Thank-you Tomasso!!!Written 9 October 2019
- CherCher10 contributionsAmazing Informative TourThis tour was amazing. We were picked up at our hotel right on time by a very polite driver and taken to the Colosseum where we met our private guide, Paola. She was so informative and filled with lots of details. She was an absolute delight. I could not believe all that we learned from her. She customized the tour the way we wanted and we skipped the things my husband and I did not want to see. He knowledge was unbelievable. I have a bad hip and she let us stop to rest whenever needed. I highly recommend this tour if you want to learn something.Written 7 June 2019
- TravBlog20000 contributionsDo not use this operator! We booked, paid, and were confirmed 3 months ago. A week before the tour they send an email and cancelled on us with the excuse that they could not get tickets. No apology, noy even an automatic refund! They are very shady operators. stay away from them. Plenty of good alternatives out there.Written 21 May 2019
- Ryankalkwarf980 contributionsGreat energy and exceptional knowledgeTommaso was very personable throughout the tour and even asked if there was anything we specifically wanted to see. In addition Tommaso was able to answer any of our questions. Would definitely recommend Tommaso for any other tour, he was the best guide we had the whole trip.Written 26 March 2019
- DavidCC_30 contributionsGreat private tour of TrastevereAfter you've been to Rome once there's still loads and loads to see, but this tour helps you see things in a completely different light adding much more information and anecdotes to allow you to really feel a part of the destination. We finished the tour full of facts and food having stopped in the best local places for coffee, pastries, pizza and lunch. Don't forget to skip breakfast if you book this morning food tour of Trastevere, and do it early in your trip so afterwards when you pass back to this very cool part of the city you will enjoy it even much more as you will do it full of local insider knowledge. Top work Tomasso!Written 22 March 2019
- James H0 contributionsPerfect family tour! After researching several tours, I finally found this tour company and they exceeded my expectations in both price and quality. We have kids and wanted something that allowed us to see these incredible sights but not bore the kids. Tommaso made it happen! We had two six year olds and a thirteen year old. This was a highlight for all of them. Tommaso created a mock gladiator fight for them using dice and old artwork from ancient fights. Most of the tour was appropriate for all adults with just enough fun to keep every kid (including the "adult" kids) engaged. Tommaso's expertise as an archaeologist and personal experience digging for relics in Rome really enhanced the experience. Without the kids, I still prefer this tour!!Written 25 February 2019
- dangiapedia0 contributionsPrivate Tour of Trastevere with food!Great tour with Tommaso around Trastevere district. We walked for 4 hours around the streets, visiting churches and places and eat some Roman specialities (biscuits, pizza, coffee and pasta). Tommaso told us lots of curiosities and showed us some hidden corners of this area. It was a relaxed and peaceful walking while listening to a knowledgeable and friendly guide.Written 18 February 2019
- sophiereskin0 contributionsAmazing Tour with TommasoOur family of 5 had an amazing and unforgettable time touring the Vatican with Tommaso. I would highly recommend to anyone! He knows so much about the art and history, I am so thankful that we learned so much. He is also very funny and keeps the tour very interesting with all his stories and facts.Written 3 February 2019
