Valeria was amazing! Very patient with our kids. Our kids had lots of questions which she was happy to answer. It was by far one of our favorite experiences in Rome.

Alessandra was great at getting our children (9 & 7) involved. They enjoyed the games and quizzes she did for them. We all learned more about the history of the colosseum. The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is because it’s called “skip the line”, but we had to wait in line for both the colosseum and the forum. Apparently as our group number was less than 10, we couldn’t go in the group queue. Still, it was a little misleading but the queues didn’t take too long.

Exceeding expectations, going over and above the normal tour. Educational, entertaining, kids felt special with personal touch.

What a fantastic tour! I really wanted a family-friendly option to bring the Colosseum and Forum to life for my 7yo and I don't think I could have done better than choose this tour with Simona - she turned everything into a game (quite literally with points for spotting different things, getting answers correct and finally a prize at the end) and while nothing was dumbed down, she made sure that it was all on the right level for the kids to understand, very engaging and very fun. There's a big different between a tour guide who wants to lead family tours and one who carries out a standard tour with kids tagging along - I've done enough of the latter to know what a fabulous guide Simona was, and definitely one of the former. It would have been lovely to have had a bit longer with her in the Forum, but as we had already spend slightly more than the planned 2 1/2 hours (mostly in and around the Colosseum), I think it would have been too much for the kids to make it longer and I'd have hated to miss any of the Colosseum. In February the queues weren't too long but getting to skip through in the group entrances with her was still a definite bonus, and in busier months, it would make a huge difference with younger ones. I can't recommend her enough and would definitely book a tour again if we go back to Rome.

Our family of three, including our nine year old daughter, had a lovely time with Simona. She was very fun and engaging for our daughter and was packed full of information! She really made seeing the Colosseum interesting and the scavenger hunt was a big hit with our little girl! Our only complaint was that the voucher clearly states that the tour leaves promptly. We waited for 20+ minutes for a family that never showed. It would've been one thing if the family had called and they were coming in a few moments, but to make us wait (when we'd planned carefully and arrived early out of respect for our guide and any other tour participants) was very rude. Every moment of vacation time is precious and we should've left promptly as promised. Despite that, we had a great time on, what turned out to be, our private tour! Simona was so kind and offered to take family photos for us which we may not have had otherwise! We would absolutely book with Simona again!

While visiting Rome we decided to organize a private family tour of the Colosseum and Forum so our sons (age 10&12) could have the best opportunity to experience these amazing sites. Simona was a fantastic tour guide for the whole family - she kept the kids engaged with anecdotes, digital pictures, interesting facts, games and lots of questions (and answers to our questions!). Our boys were able to understand how and why the Colosseum and Forum were built and functioned; even us adults who had previously visited these sites learnt lots from Simona. Simona was very knowledgable and had many great tips for our Roman holiday; she was also very considerate of our kids’ needs and paced the tour appropriately. It was a wonderful and enjoyable experience and one we have all learnt a lot from. Thank you Simona!

Toured with my 11 yr old and my parents. Simona was fantastic! Not only does she know all the Percy Jackson stories but is also extremely knowledgeable on Roman history and the artifacts at the museum. Loved the twist of the Percy Jackson themed adventure game as we toured this amazing museum. Simona was able to keep my son engaged while also answering my parents’ history and art questions; we all learned quite a bit! Much more fun for all of us than your typical museum tour. My 11yo son (who loves all things Percy Jackson, mythology and has studied ancient Rome) says, “Enthralling storyline, great guide, best tour ever!” He highly recommends Simona as does my whole family, and even wants to go back to the museum as a result of this tour.
