Are you ready to literally immerse yourself in a mountain of shards? Mind you, it's not a joke, it's a unique place in the world ... it exists and is located in one of the oldest and most characteristic central districts of Rome! It is a mountain built entirely from fragments of amphorae, thought to be about 25 million, also extends for about 1 km with a height of 54 meters, for this reason it is called Monte de 'cocci. Discover this unique attraction and above all enjoy its view of Rome and the Tiber, to say the least breathtaking. It will also be possible to see the bases of two antiaircraft from the Second World War. Take the opportunity to live an experience that takes you back in time, to ancient Rome! After the visit, to complete a Roman experience, a very rich lunch is included, loaded with Roman specialties, first courses, second courses, local wine and desserts!

      Ferrari tour of Rome
Via Rome and Italy Travel, I was able to book a private, 1 hour tour of Rome in a Ferrari. It was a surprise for my son’s birthday. We both had a great time. Highly recommend.

Very Interesting and would totally recommend
Amazing tour with the fabulous Lucia. Great to have someone interested in film and history on the tour of Cinecitta. The museum was a great history of Italian film and fun to be on the Roman set.

      Mobility Scooter Rental in Italy
We rented a mobility scooter. Rome & Italy Travel delivered and picked up from our hotel. This made travel around small town, Gubbio, possible. The scooter was beyond our expectations and worked perfectly for our needs. HIghly recommend them

Rome Accessible Transfer Service to Cruise Ship terminal
I arranged a wheelchair transfer service with Rome and Italy Tours from our airport hotel to Civitavecchia and back for a ten day cruise with my wife. Lucia was a dream to work with, to the extent that in the rush to leave, we forgot to check out of the hotel. A quick whatsapp to Lucia and within 10 minutes, she had phoned the hotel and checked us out. She went above and beyond the call of duty. Antonio, the chauffer had a permit to enter the port and was able to drop us off at the ship check in counter. I will definitely be using them again. They were just brilliant. Brava Lucia e grazie mille per tutto che hai fatto per noi.

      Wheelchair Rental
I rented a wheelchair for almost three weeks as my wife has Parkinson's. I found Rome & Italy to be easy to communicate with, helpful and resolved any issues quickly. We stayed in a private property whilst in Italy (in Umbria), this didn't prove any problem for them, dropping off or collecting the wheelchair. They were very accommodating and I would not hesitate using them again. Thank you for the assistance you provided.

      Rome tour
I used this company last April and they were phenomenal so when I knew our cruise ship would be in port in Rome I contacted them to see what they could do. They customized a tour of the Coliseum, Vatican museum, Sistine Chapel, Forum and St. Peter's Basilica for seven of us. Perfectly timed to get us back to the ship on time. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable. We had a couple of people with walking difficulties so he offered alternatives. We stopped for a brief lunch and still got in every bit of Rome. I will only use this company for any type of tour in Italy.

      Disabled Friendly Tour of Sicily
I contacted Miriana at Rome & Italy to arrange the hire of a power wheelchair for our visit to Sicily as well as a 1/2 day disabled friendly walking tour of Cefalu. The whole process ran smoothly leading up to and during the visit. Wheelchair was at Catania Airport to collect on arrival - and a rep there to take back on departure. Felt like I was in safe hands the whole experience. The tour in Cefalu, with the friendly & very well informed Elisabetta, was well received by our party and suited my wheelchair perfectly. Thank you!

      Very Professional and Reliable Company
I rented a rollator walker from this company. I unfortunately had an accident the week before leaving for a vacation which resulted in a hip injury causing me to need a walker. I had been planning this vacation for over a year. At the last minute I found this company and they agreed to rent me a walker but I was afraid that they might not be a legitimate company and there were some scammers out there. However, I had a GREAT experience with this company. The walker was waiting for me when I arrived at my first hotel and it was exactly what I had requested. I was able to even travel to another hotel in Sicily and the company agreed to pick up the walker from there. I am so appreciative of the fact that there were no language barriers causing any problems in communication. I would definitely highly recommend this company and use them again.

      Great Monsters!!!
This garden was so awesome, and really an unknown gem for most western tourists. We had seen it on an oscure travel page and knew we had to go. Spent probably 90 minutes. If leaving Rome by car on way to either Orvieto or Civita it's a must and so easy to get to. Relaxing garden and easy to get good photos of the great pieces. Do it!!!

A Beautiful Day At Ancient Ostia
Guided Tour Of Ostia Antica - We loved our personally guided tour of Ostia Antica - the ancient port right outside of Rome. So much history and so interesting. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable on everything about life back then and the city. It is amazing to learn about life and to see how they lived - I highly recommend this tour!! As always, Rome & Italy Tours provides a first class experience.

An Amazing Informative Tour At The Colosseum
Our afternoon at the Colosseum that Rome & Italy Tours set up was perfect. We had a personal tour guide who was very educated on so much of the history, spoke great English and was a delight. This was a first class tour experience.

Best full day of Rome tour ever!
Marco and Valerio made our visit to Rome truly unforgettable. I would recommend this tour to anyone who visits this beautiful city. Valerio greeted us in our hotel lobby and drove us to meet Marco at the Vatican and Sistine Chapel. From here we went to St. Peter’s Basilica and had no wait in no lines!! We continued our day with a tour of the Colossuem followed by a lunch that was recommended by our driver Valencio. Our last stop was Villa d’Este. They also made a special stop for us at the Bridge of Angels. Marco was extremely pleasant as was Valerio and they both made our day the absolute best!

Stanley Tucci *Non-Endorsed* Food Tour of a Lifetime -- DO IT!
For our 25th wedding anniversary, my husband and I booked the "Stanley Tucci Food Tour" with Rome and Italy Group. Though not officially endorsed by Stanley Tucci, we stopped at many of the same restaurants and did many of the same activities (cheese making, wine tasting, lemoncello tasting, visiting markets) and much more -- cooking with chefs in restaurants and their homes. Transportation, lodging, and planning were all handled by Haylna, from the tour company, and she did a fantastic job updating us daily. Everyone we met on the tour was super friendly. The hotels were nice and the food was outstanding. This was one of the best tours my husband and I have ever been on. Highly recommend!! Haylna also works with people that have special needs or accommodations, which we had on our trip. We did northern Italy to Sicily and back to Venice in 17 days and tasted and prepared all sorts of Italian cuisine. Highly recommend!
