Private tours are much better than group tours, having done them both. Eyes of Rome booking and instructions were easy to follow.

We had a family group (6 adults + 8 month old infant) and were absolutely delighted with our experience. The "Comfort Option," which included a pickup at our apartment in Rome was outstanding. Our guide, Marina, was truly wonderful. She was not only fluent in English but also extremely knowledgeable about the Vatican and (BONUS!) had great relationships with the Vatican staff. Rosie was a well informed tour guide and quickly able to determine what might be of interest to our family at the Vatican. Despite the quick changes and adjustments to our liking she was extremely knowledgeable of whatever we were discussing. Very nice person. Very friendly.

We did a private Forum and Colosseum (Belvedere level) tour with Katie and it was such a great experience! She is is friendly and knowledgeable, it was like touring with a Roman history professor. We also did a Vatican private tour with Elisa D. and she was equally as friendly and knowledgeable about everything Vatican. We learned so much history from both of these tours. All in all, this is a top level tour company and we will definitely recommend them to anyone we know visiting Italy! We would absolutely use them again the next time we visit Rome!

We absolutely loved our tour! We got very lucky as our reservation ended becoming a private tour. Our guide Gianluca Pica, was wonderful and extremely knowledgeable. We learned so much and have now an even deeper appreciation for Ancient Rome. Gianluca was thoughtful to offer us tips and recommendations for what to do in the next coming days. My wife and I toured today in Florence. Our guide was Francesca R. What an amazing day we had. We toured in the morning the Uffizi and in the afternoon we toured Accademia. Our private tour guide, Francesca was amazing. She is so knowledgeable and so passionate that we really learned and enjoyed the entire day. I highly recommend booking your private tour with her!

This was a great tour and well worth the money. Our driver took us to Elisa (spelling?), who met us at the entrance to the Vatican Museums, where we entered slightly after they opened. We saw various highlights of the museums, a long set of galleries, and the Sistine Chapel. Since guiding wasn't allowed in the chapel, she showed us photos beforehand, explaining what we'd see and where. Then we took the guided tour shortcut to St Peter's Basilica, where again she showed us around to see the highlights. We spent 3.5 hours, saw a lot, but obviously there was so much more to see. Having a private guide was definitely worth it to maximize our time and our understanding of what we were seeing. Overall a great tour!

Our tour guide Katie was incredible, Katie is a wonderful storyteller; her knowledge and passion for the history of Rome was captivating. This was an excellent private tour of the Colosseum for my wife and me, including the underground portion and the Forum. Our guide, Emmanuele, was superb. He was friendly, engaging and extremely knowledgeable. The whole experience was great, and it was well worth the cost. Highly recommended. Note that there are other tours of the Colosseum that do not include the underground area, but for my money that was the most interesting part.

Eleanora was exceptionally knowledgeable, providing us with a thorough and engaging explanation of everything we encountered, all framed beautifully in its historical context. This tour was relatively expensive, but more than worth it! Valentina was an excellent guide and our three person family really enjoyed interacting with her. The Vatican is immense and one could spend years uncovering all of its treasures, but this was a great way to see it in 3.5 hours. Grazie Valentina for making this a highlight of our time in Rome!
