About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- rebeccaaE9927IU0 contributionsCancelledI cannot rate the experience because they canceled on us late evening the night before . They offered a new time but we already had another obligation. For me, it was incredibly frustrating because we had a set amount of time for our visit and I made the reservation weeks before.Written 10 May 2024
- hmcode0 contributionsOne of our FAVORITE spots! This was off the beaten path and one of our FAVORITE spots we saw in Rome. The scale of the baths is so impressive. Walking through it and the grounds - imagining what it was like back in the day - was very cool! We walked up to the booth and bought tickets right then, no problems. Would highly recommend adding this spot to your "things to see" list in Rome!Written 3 April 2024
- 180danae0 contributionsDon’t buy!DO NOT BUY THIS! They charge you 23euro pp for the entrance ticket, it says nowhere that it is not included. Read reviews from viator also, they charge you extra for a lot of things. Many people in our group complained and they changed the terms on the website afterwards. SCAM! The guide was late, speaks poor English and rushed through the most interesting parts. The sound in headset was very bad. Worst experience ever!Written 2 January 2024

- arthurcZ9857ME0 contributionsDont use TripadvisorI do not recommend using Tripadvisor. I ordered tickets to Borghese museum Rome but Tripadvisor would not let me access the tickets to enter the museum. Museum staff phoned Tripadvisor who were not interested to help. Tripadvisor charged €133 whereas museum would have cost €60. I would never use Tripadvisor again. Unhelpful, expensive and a waste of moneyWritten 30 September 2023
- AngryWanda0 contributionsRipped off!We were sold tickets and then sent a link to tickets that didn’t work! We had to pay again at the gate to the excursion! Viator refuses to refund our money because the link to tickets works now! Don’t deal with them!!!!Written 31 August 2023
- Faith H0 contributionsVatican CityThe guide was amazing her knowledge was great worth every penny . It was organised and we could here on headphones we didn’t have to wait long to go in Vatican much easier to skip queue . Peter basilicas church was amazing we couldn’t get headphones but it didn’t matter as the guide went through a lot before we went in This is a must to see and we were taken down were all the popes tombs wereWritten 30 August 2023
- yuriyal20230 contributionsGood but...First off, we had to pay another 22 euros on top of the tour fee because admission was not included. The tour guide was very funny, charismatic amd knowledgeable. The tour itself was good until we got into the museum. There were SO many people that we could not hear the guide well through the headsets. It was extremely overwhelming to try to listen, follow the the guide, and also appreciate the museum. We ended up branching off and going our own ways so we wouldn't have to worry about as many things.Written 13 August 2023

- RichardH57200 contributionsVirtual Reality ExperienceI purchased the Virtual reality ticket which cost €22 - booked through Coopculture (official website). The virtual reality visor was easy to use, they give you a set of instructions. The virtual reality reconstructs what the site would have looked like. The site isn't very big and they only let you keep the visor for an hour. You can reach the site easily, it's just south of Circo Massimo (Metro Line B).Written 3 July 2023
- ruotoa0 contributionsPay extra for no serviceUsing the travel agency was completely in vain. Book your ticket from the official website, or maybe just turn up at the entrance to the site to save money. The communication with the agent was nice, but there really was no service worth paying more than double the price.Written 19 June 2023

- I934GSgeraldm0 contributionsRushed and poorly organized. We booked a 11:50 am tour and had to return at 3pm.The tour was rushed and we had little time to look at important art. We were advised that some people from the earlier tour might not show up but everyone did and we had to come back 3 hours later.Written 27 May 2023
- ScaperV0 contributionsMust see in Rome!Absolutely loved this experience! The ruins of the baths are fascinating. There are mosaics and parts of sculpture left that let you imagine what it all must have been like in its heyday. We did the audio tour which was just a phone with a layout that you clicked on to hear about each room. The narration was good with lots of interesting facts to bring the ruins alive. Managing the phone while trying to juggle a camera was a pain. A head set would have been better. Still worth it and one of my fave experiences in Rome.Written 16 May 2023

Would advise to book tickets beforehand so you can quickly enter the museum without having to wait 30-45 minutes in line. The castle has an amazing view, a lot of stairs to reach it but definitely worth it. The audio guide is not really worth it, in my opinion. The staff that was supposed to explain how it worked wasn't really motivated and lacked motivation. The best is just to take your time, see all there is to see, and have a coffee on top.
Be aware that there are a lot of people taking 'selfies,' which kinda ruins the moment, but oh well...

We found this visit interesting, and little occupied after such a busy day. From the top, you have beautiful views of the city and of the Saint Angelo Bridge and river.
The café inside was very good and if one is lucky to find a 'window' spot, their cocktails are delicious.

Spectacular views from the top of the building and much bigger inside than you think. Very deceiving building.
Floors are uneven so be careful before you go in its to be expected given it age but i injured my ankle while doing the tour around.
Would highly recommend this tour just be a little more careful than i was when walking around.

We queued for ages only to get to the ticket office to be told that the credit card machine had gone down. Fortunately, we could scrape enough cash together to pay to get in. Most people though, didn’t have cash and were refused entry. The customer service was awful! Was it worth it? For the views of Rome yes, otherwise no. There are a lot more impressive places to go and see than this. Would I go again? No! My advice...do the Forum tour and see the views from there. Now, that is amazing!

We entered directly with the Aroma Pass, no reservation or anything was necessary and without queues. We loved it! We went around 5pm and saw the sunset at the top of the fortress, it was wonderful!! In itself it is a treasure!! I would repeat without thinking about it!!

Visited Hadrians mausoleum, but there is very little of the old history left. Most of it has gone because of other uses of the building, and removed by subsequent popes. So a little disappointed, but the views from the top are good.

We visited here on an unguided tour, there was a huge amount to see and there was a lot of information to be found inside in English also , lots of photo opportunities and the view of the city from the top was a highlight of our holiday , really good value with a €12 entrance fee/head, definitely one to put on your list if you’re visiting Rome

You are struck by the majesty of this round Castle from the remote 2nd century.
Only the outside view is calling you for a tour inside.
This is one of the oldest monument that is still in rather good shape.
