They cancelled our reservation at the last minute. Too late to book anything else. So unprofessional and inconsiderate.

For a,start the venue advertised wasn't available, the room was basic and we're sat on plastic chairs, the music played from a,speaker, not live was ABBA and the beatles. So disappointed that we left before dinner was served and requested a full refund. DO NOT BOOK THIS TRIP, IT WILL RUIN YOUR ROME EXPERIENCE

Waste of time money . Was asked for €10 for the glass of wine that was included in the price of €100 that we had already paid. Left just before 10pm music hadn't started. Only 4 people in the place we left .

The food was lovely along with the wine, the jazz performance was fantastic. You have a meal on one side of the boat and then the jazz performance is on the other bar boat next to it which is seen in the photos, unfortunately there was a private party in the bar section on the evening we went. So the performance was in the meal section we did enjoy this but we wanted the full experience and setting of what was shown in the photos. We was not made aware of this when booking or on the lead up to our evening. Which did disappoint us as we would of asked to change to another night so we could have the full experience we were expecting. The room we was in was decorated lovely but wasn’t as much like stepping back into the 1930s like stated on the information for the event. I would recommend going but maybe double check the performance will be in bar setting like shown and stated on the event.

Originally booked with Viator but had a text the night before saying trip was cancelled and it had to be booked with Manuel from Viator as the boat wasn’t taking online bookings. A ticket was sent to my phone and he explained I would have to pay at the boat on arrival. I had confirmation by email of a full refund from Viator, which I have received. We arrived at the departure point and Tiziano welcomed us. I have no issues with the tour guide but the trip itself was rushed due to the boat being late. Everyone on board had already started the aperitifs as they boarded at a different stop. The aperitifs were very poor and the wine was awful, cheap comes to mind! We had to go on top deck which was fine but was rushed as we were the last to get off, wine glasses were exchanged for plastic glasses as the driver was cleaning up. It seems we were on board for roughly half an hour altogether. We were then taken to the restaurant. There was a choice for the meal and we had the meat dish for starters. . The bread that was served was stale. We had a glass of wine. The main meal we chose was Carbonara (our first Italian meal) well, I am aware that carbonara is served warm due to it being cooked with egg but this was cold. We couldn’t eat this and asked for it to be warm. It came back to the table after being microwaved and on the same plates. You can now imagine that this tasted awful as the pasta was stuck together. We could not eat it. There wasn’t a desert offered but to be honest we didn’t feel like we could eat anything else. We asked if they could phone a taxi, which we were told before we arrived that it would t be a problem. They didn’t ring us a taxi due to the football being on! So, we left and made our own way back into town. This was a joint. Birthday celebration our first night in Rome, which we thought would have been lovely it was not. It cost 400 euros and shows as Manuel Larocc “SUMUP” I text him the next day to tell him of our experience and he came back to say he would investigate. Guess what! He is now ignoring by not answering my texts. I have since text him twice to ask him of his findings and to ask for a refund but no reply. I never complain and used to work in the travel industry. I would not recommend this trip and is not worth the money. I booked other trips with Viator and they were brilliant.

This really exceeded our expectations, we saw things that we wouldnt have been able to see alone, and we learned a lot about the city from our guide. I definitely reccomend this experience 😃

I can highly recommend the experience with Tiziano. He was very engaging, insightful and friendly. We got to see a lot of interesting places and learned a great deal about Roman history and culture. The pizza in the end was absolutely amazing! Also, really cool that Tiziano knew about Norwegian culture and could even speak some Norwegian.

First time ever in Rome and I falled in love with the city because of this brilliant tour! The guy is really friendly and kind, also although he is a local his english is excellent. The restaurant where we ate together served us a very nice pizza. Hugely recommended!

I would give a negative rating if that were an option. Let me start out by saying there is nothing “magical” about this “cruise” and what a catfish experience this was. It started by the day of the excursion getting an email from the owner stating they no longer take payment from 3rd party sites and that they would refund my previous payment just to show up and be charged 200 euros. Then the first course came. That consisted of watermelon in a plastic Tupperware container and potato chips also in Tupperware, a small skin e of what looked like elementary lunch room pizza and a small square of microwaveable lasagna. Then our “tour guide” drank a beer as the boat was moving and finally the last 10 minutes of the maybe 30 minutes we were actually on the boat gave a subpar explanation of theories involving the floating island the hospital sits on. Once we were docked, we began the hike to the “fine dinning” restaurant. During our walk our tour guide rolled a cigarette and started smoking and had nothing to talk about in regards to Rome. Once we finally arrived to the restaurant the staff did provide good service but definitely was not the level of “fine dinning” we had in mind. Limited menu, limited drink options and definitely not worth the amount of money paid. There are several restaurants in Rome that provide better quality of food and better ambiance. Lastly, I read a comment somewhere about being dressed in business casual or your Sunday best, let me assure you that if you roll out of bed, put your hair up and put on your comfy broke in sweats and even skip brushing your teeth, you will fit in just fine. We were over dressed and underserved. Save your money, don’t book this excursion and just take an evening stroll by the river and walk the bridges, it will be a way better use of your time and resources.

DO NOT BOOK THIS. we arrived at 8.30 and to summarise our experience: - we were the only people there for the first hour - the boat did not leave the dock at all - the portion sizes were small - you have a choice of 4 main course meals which include pasta, pasta, pasta and pasta - the jazz band didn’t even start playing and we’re just sat eating and drinking, we ended up leaving at half 9 - my boyfriend threw up in the middle of the night and got food poisoning Horrific experience and would not ever go back.

The venue was closed for August 14 for lunch. Spoke with Manuel and was told it was a mistake in the schedule and was going to issue me a refund. Very disappointed.

We paid $206.48 for this boat ride and dinner. Our taxi had a hard time finding the dock. The stairs to the dock were dirty and there are no safety hand rails on the river side. After finding the dock we were told that the Exclusive Dinner had been cancelled and that we would get aperitifs and a boat ride. We paid an extra 40 Euros for the aperitifs and boat ride. The one stop boat ride was from the Piazza Popolo to the Trastevere. The aperitifs were a cup of peanuts, a cup of potato chips, a cup of watermelon, two tiny cheese sandwiches and only one drink per client soft drink or a tiny bottle of wine. BOTTOM LINE FOR US IT WAS AN EXPENSIVE BUST AND DISAPPOINTMENT.

There was not live jazz music for 2.5 hours we were asked to arrive. The portions are VERY small and low quality. The wait staff was impatient and acted as if they hated their job ( I don’t blame them now). After waiting long after we finished our meal, we were told later and later times that the band would begin, they told us it was the first timed they were playing together and it was obvious. In the end we only stayed for three songs because it was hard to hear. Finally, you are not seated in the area pictured, instead of a small club atmosphere you are on a cheep dinner area across the boat. When we was this we asked if there was a mix up, we’re told we could pay again to move to the secondary seating. To be fair, there was a second concert going on here and they seemed much better.

The food was terrible! Our entire table of 9 could not eat the main course. The water was nasty and service was slow. It took over two hours to get the main dishes we couldn’t eat. The location and music were nice, but beware the mosquitoes. The boat is permanently docked. Book a boat that cruises the river.

The only good part was the setting. The wine wasn't good and the appetizers were marginal. The pasta dishes were not edible! When we complained to management, they only said they were sorry. They then proceeded to charge us 5 Euro for each small Coke we had consumed. Don't waste your time or money!
