About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Richard M0 contributionsPoor customer serviceThe tour itself was fine but the customer service was unsatisfactory. I mistakenly double booked the Bologna walking tour for two different dates. I attended the first tour which was fine. When I later realized I was still booked for a second tour I immediately cancelled it online. Sadly, however, I was already apparently within the 24 hour “no cancellation” window. Viator said they contacted the operator who refused to help and charged me for a tour which I actually cancelled. The tour operator and Viator got double paid for a tour I attended once. I doubt they actually turned a willing customer away because of my mistaken booking. Both Viator and the tour operator need to be more flexible and customer oriented. The entire experience just leaves a bad taste. Rich McAlpinWritten 31 December 2024
- andersv6480 contributionsCity walkNice walk with interesting information about the history of the city. I would have liked some more food/restaurant recommendations.Written 24 December 2024
- Nenad M0 contributionsGood tourThe pace was relaxed, allowing us to really enjoy the sights. The only thing that could have improved the experience was a bit more time at some of the key sites. Overall, a wonderful tour and highly recommended for anyone wanting to learn about Bologna's charm!Written 12 December 2024
- A7780VWjeanner0 contributionsAbsolutely terrificSabrina was wonderful. She took us to 5 locations, one more breathtaking than the next, filling in a great deal of history about the early Christian era as well as Ravenna’s evolution. It is difficult to overstate the impact of these huge but remarkably detailed images made of small pieces of glass so many centuries ago. One suggestion would be that the tour could have been even better if she had used one of those radio transmitters that so many guides are using these days. But I can’t downgrade her at all for this. She was always audible and intelligible, and we appreciate what she added to our experience. The company could make the signing-up process a bit clearer, as I suggested to Chiara.Written 1 December 2024
- christianbrorholmm0 contributionsAuthentic and informative history tour in city centerMaria guided us through city center, in a small group. She told us stories about the people, cultures, and buildings of Bologna. This was a perfect way to start exploring the city. Big thanks to Maria for the tour.Written 25 November 2024

- 270vikt_riav0 contributionsNever again! It isn't worth a penny! You just get a ticket what you could buy yourself for 3€ and some negligible vouchers. Avoid it! It is a mere scamp!Written 12 November 2024
- susannehX9714KF0 contributionsVery InterestingThis was a very interesting tour, Benedikta showed us and explained to us the kinds of details that put what we were looking at in context. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, the tour isn't overly long, but the ground is uneven.Written 6 November 2024
- Áron B0 contributionsPleasent Italian ladyWe've walked around the city the previous day and saw 80% that was presented. It was ok. But during this walking tour, we've got a lot of insights and background stories. It was like opening up our third eye or something. I would have regretted if we had to return from Bologna without knowing these amazing things about the city. We got our little earphones and a wonderful authentic lady with a pleasant Italian accent. It took 2 hours which was enough. We could have had questions in the end of the tour.Written 3 November 2024
- FarAway6557420 contributionsStock standard tourThe tour guide was very well informed about her town but there was a bit too much information without any small breaks to take it all in. We also purchased the food vouchers which we didn't think were that great regarding choice of items to eat. It was nice being shown the old lanes where traditional Bolognese food items are made.Written 20 October 2024

- Connector109144991270 contributionsGetting to Know LuccaMy husband and I were introduced to Lucca by Amanda who was our guide for a walking tour. Amanda provided the best way for us to become more familiar with the city. Lucca has a rich history and this was best learned from Amanda who was a former art history teacher. She was informative and very accommodating to our questions, pace and interest. She even showed us a great cafe which we returned to several times. I highly recommend Amanda and this tour!Written 16 October 2024

- Glenn H0 contributionsNot worth itNot worth the added expense. We could have purchased tickets for the train at the same place everyone else did at 1/3 the price. We had no advantage as someone just handed us our tickets to the train, gave us a map of the city, and gave us a voucher for 10 per cent off at some cafe that was way out of the way for us to even find and two other vouchers for samples at places that were also out of the way. We had to wait in line to board the train just like everyone else. We were not given any priority. Definitely not worth the extra money.Written 11 October 2024

I would like to ask how difficult it would be to bike to Santuario della Beata Vergine di S. Luca? We would be a family of four with 2 boys aged 8 and 10.5. Can you please let me know how long it might take? Thank you!
