- ProfessorCharles0 contributionsThank you maestro for allowing us into your homeI didn't know what to expect .... I saw Pavarotti perform only once at the Met in NYC, but like many at the time, he's the one who opened up the love of opera. You'll need a car to get to the Museo Pavarotti which has some rooms that are kept with his furnishings and others that display his costumes, awards, photos, and other memorabilia. It's a moving experience to see his home and his art works. The cemetery with the his family's plot is close by, and folks at the museum will direct you there.Written 7 November 2024

- BJR20131290 contributionsA Must to Visit in Modena ItaliaIf you are visiting Modena,Italia you must go to Casa Museo Luciano Pavarotti. Although it is a little way out of Modena it is well worth the trip. You are free to go anywhere in the Villa. The costumes, photos, letters & other Memorabilia are amazing. The Staff are very welcoming & informative.I was with 8 friends and we all said what a wonderful experience it was to be able to wonder inside & out of the Villa.Written 2 July 2023
- jenaet0 contributionsAmazing beautiful place that should be seen by all!We arrived about 1pm and for some reason no other tourists were there when it so deserves to be packed as 1. Everything is on display and no rooms are off limits. 2. Welcoming warm staff 3. Beautiful relaxing ambience ss there are rooms you can relax and unwind down and even lie down to experience Pavarottis beautiful voice and videos 4. Only 10 euros. Vastly underpricing. All up, one of my finest visits to any museum/famous home and should be seen by more people, even those that don't like opera or Pavarotti!Written 21 June 2023
- Abigail H0 contributionsLovely portrait of a wonderful manThis relatively modest (considering his fame) house is a touching reminder of a man who brought joy to any. It is surprisingly personal, allowing visitors into his personal rooms and showing personal letters from famous friends. Thank youWritten 21 June 2023
- Mel1Sydney0 contributionsA must see in modeThis is a wonderful glimpse into the life of the incredible Pavarotti- not just a house but a home. A 15 min taxi ride from the town centre, give yourself 90 - 120 mins to see the place. Really interestingWritten 19 June 2023
- rhys_phillips0 contributionsInteresting even if you don't enjoy opera!I am not an opera lover. Give me a jazz club any night of the week over Pavarotti. However, I cannot deny his status as one of Italy's most famous and influential musicians. Luckily, you don't need to be a fan of his music to enjoy exploring his house which has been left almost untouched since he died. It's a little outside the town centre but worth the trip. Self-guided tour is done with English language audio guide.Written 6 May 2023

- CAAbcfc0 contributionsOne of the most enjoyable museum visits in yearsArrived with no pre-booking and achieved immediate entry (late September). Even if you are not already a committed Pavarotti fan, the Museum does and has everything expected and more - all in good style and very well thought out. The exhibits and settings are brilliant. Who would expect to even see an original letter from Bruce Springsteen or Princess Diana to the Maestro or a picture of him with James Brown! The audio guide is also second to none - do not leave it out. All just superb!Written 14 November 2022
- William B0 contributionsHighly recommendWhile it's a bit of a ways from the town of Modena (recommend taking a taxi), it was well worth the trip. The museum is laid out perfectly, giving both a sense of Pavarotti's life and how he chose to live. Was stunning in its simple elegance, and the number of pictures and videos of him with a seemingly endless array of celebrities and other entertainers was fun to see.Written 5 July 2022
- CDBrentnall0 contributionsAbsolutely worth the visitAbsolutely stunningly beautiful location, the house was equally as beautiful. So nice to have a glimpse into Pavarotti’s house. Walking around seeing all the pictures, moment and memories was very special. He was a one of a kind, so gifted, such a beautiful person inside and out. His voice will be remembered forever. So glad we took the trip to have this special day, I would highly recommend visiting this special placeWritten 10 April 2022
- cordyroy0 contributionsBeautiful TributeSet in the countryside outside of Modena, this lovely farmhouse is a beautiful tribute to a great singer. Left as it was at the time of his death, its a moving experience. And all the while his music plays. We had a car so was easy to get to and has parking. I thing there is public transport but not sure.Written 25 February 2020
- Passport7915240 contributionsCharmingI'm not especially a Pavarotti fan, but this was an absolutely lovely morning. He was quite obviously a marvelous man and full of life and talent. This house has been left like it was when he lived and died there. It isn't ostentatious - just full of memories and memorabilia. It is very touching and poignant and it feels as if he might just walk back in. Take time there to look a the hundreds of photos of who he met and listen to the maestro in this wonderful setting.Written 2 February 2020

A pleasant visit lasting just over an hour and at a very low price of 10 euros per person including audio guides, you can immerse yourself in the magical atmosphere of the master's house, in all its history and beauty. The visit unfolds in the various rooms where an audio guide explains the whole story. The house, built piece by piece by the master, is a hymn to color and light which, with the many windows, envelops every corner of the house.
In the background there are his songs and many paintings and memorabilia of his clothes on the most important occasions, as well as all the awards won in his career.
Worth a visit if you are in the area.
Next to the museum there is also a restaurant, but since it was a little unaffordable we preferred to opt elsewhere.
Free parking adjacent to the museum.

We went today to visit Pavarotti's house. Objectively I expected to find one of the usual boring museums dedicated to famous people, with lots of dusty relics to be seen quickly and which then leave little behind.
Here it was different. As soon as we arrived we had a chat with one of the curators who immediately conveyed to us the emotion of the place. The visit to the beautiful house then further increased the emotions, to the point of almost feeling the smiling presence of the Master, in all its things and places.
On the way out we talked about it (I was with my wife and a couple of friends) and we all had the same emotions and feelings.
If you happen to be in the area I recommend you go and visit Pavarotti's house museum, you will see that it is truly worth it.
A big thank you goes to the curators who welcomed us and prepared us for what we were about to see/hear (not just with our eyes and ears).
Obviously thanks also to the great Maestro Pavarotti, for everything he did and everything he left us

This place holds a lot of emotions, even for those who may not know the Maestro that much. His music and his presence are all around and I’m so glad that his Family made it possible for everyone to come “visit” Luciano, at home. Very well organized, the audio guide is very informative and practical. I highly recommend this stop. Unfortunately we passed by on a Monday hence could not try the restaurant right nearby, which would have been the cherry on the cake!

Recommended visit for those who want to immerse themselves in the story of a great character. Excellent choice of audio guide (included in the ticket price). I also recommend it to those who do not love opera because Pavarotti is part of the history of Italy and the world. Entering the house is a strange feeling because it seems that Master has just left. Everything was left as it was. Beautiful experience that should definitely be done at least once. The ideal is to make the visit out of season and in the late afternoon, when there is practically no one.

The visit is exciting, the audio guide is useful and functional, and the Master's voice that resonates in every room makes him feel still present.
It is somewhat impressive to enter the more private rooms such as the bedroom where the Master died, because the house still seems perfectly habitable and modern and therefore one has the impression of going to spy on someone else's house.
However, the visit is unmissable and probably not only for fans of the great tenor

Grazie mille!
Grazie e a presto!

If you are a fan or a casual listener of opera this is a great place to visit. It is emotional and insightful. It was a pleasant surprise to see his home so carefully curated into this experience where you feel like you are at your friend's home. Definitely worth the trip out to the home that is 15 minutes by taxi outside of Modena. Highly recommend.

I loved ! It is a little far away but it is worth it, the collection is very complete, my hair stood on end to be there.
I totally recommend it, it is interesting and it excites you to the maximum all the details of the house.
To the place where the teacher died, which is intact.
According to me, it is a must-see and music is always present!
Visit it anyway!
It has a very powerful energy and I
I sensed upon entering that it accompanied me throughout the visit.

Amazing, emotional and a must to visit. You will be moved by the experience of being in Pavarotti's home. Not an opera star, Pavarotti was a musician; a teacher; a painter and very involved in and supporting causes worldwide.
man. The museum is very well organised over 3 floors and a pleasure to visit and listen short musical illustrations. Special thanks to Alecia (unsure if the spelling is correct - sorry) on the reception desk for organising our taxi back into Modena. Thank you

Good morning everyone,
The visit exceeded our expectations, honestly we were surprised because thanks to the Pavarotti Museum we had the opportunity to live a beautiful experience - it was a well-guided path by Audio, where the duration for when it concerns us is perfect, as well as the arrangement of everything: costumes, objects, trophies, paintings, scores, letters etc etc. etc. - ... it is a very exciting experience, it seemed to us to go back in time and live the life of a great person and artist....
Super recommended!!!

Honest, emotional, delightful, everything you would want.
It doesn’t need a long review just confirmation it is worth it in every way.
We were lucky to have the place to ourselves and only towards the end of our visit did a rather loud private guide appear and disturb some of the magic.
If I was to suggest anything it would be that only their audio guides were allowed so that people can remain in their own blissful thoughts. Talking of any kind is not necessary.
