About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- charleskP4083EP0 contributionsGreat tripGreat guide Dan. Very helpful to fulfill all different needs in several languages. I would HIGHLY recommend this excursionWritten 30 December 2024
- joegrink0 contributionsA day in Slovenia 🇸🇮Ernest picked us up on time and regaled us with the histories of Trieste and Slovenia along the way. At Bled, he gave us some history and let us explore on our own. Mentioned a good place to get their famous cake which was wonderful. On to Ljubljana, where he took us around a bit, then let us do what we wanted. It's much nicer than following a person with a flag leading many people. We only had 5, so it was easy. It's a pretty town, and the Christmas Market was in full swing. The trip does take a full day, but it's worth it.Written 7 December 2024
- gregbJ9277AO0 contributionsA magnificent and beautiful day outAn amazing day from start to finish. Greeted early by our fantastic guide Ernest P. who all day kept us informed with knowledgeable facts and humor. Told us of places of interest and places to try traditional Slovenian food. He gave us options so that we had the most amount of time in the appropriate sites. Overall day 10/10. Enrnest was the best !!!!!Written 27 September 2024
- DavidWCP0 contributionsWonderful 9 person van trip to Piran, Slovenia from Trieste, italyOur guide, Earnie, is a Slovenian resident and was wonderful in his presentation and care during our trip. We were in a nice 9 person van and after a well informed trip to Piran, Slovenia,we had a nice walking tour at the coast, a nice lite lunch with various white and red wines, then had ample time to explore and shop on our own. The return trip visited the major port city of Koper before return to our ship in Trieste. Still had time to visit the wonderful port town of Trieste before boarding. This was a great trip for cruise passengers, getting picked up at 9:00 am right at the cruise terminal and the guide was very mindful of our ship schedule, returning at 2:15 pm.Written 18 August 2024
- Jenna S0 contributionsA wonderful day in Slovenia! We had a great time on this shore excursion. It was very easy to find the guides after getting off the ship. The guides were knowledgeable and passionate. I wish we had more time at Lake Bled but there was traffic and that delayed us quite a bit. Ljubljana was also lovely and I am very happy to have done this tour and would recommend it to anyone who’s considering it. Just a warning, you will want to come back and stay a few days or even weeks in Slovenia in the future, because 1 day does not do it justice!Written 5 June 2024
- vanessahL6714VW0 contributionsEvery moment is specialThis tour is simply incredible! From the stunning Lake Bled to the lively streets of Ljubljana, every moment is special. Great guides, smooth logistics, and unforgettable experiences make this tour a top choice for anyone looking for a magical adventure. Highly recommended!Written 15 May 2024
- Deb H0 contributionsTour leader did not verify names prior to boarding.Names were not verified prior to leaving. We were on the wrong tour! I'm disappointed that I did not get to experience Piran. The tour we were on was fine - just not what I expected. The food and wines were very good.Written 4 May 2024

- Liv28travels0 contributionsFantastic TourThis tour was fantastic and a great introduction to Slovenia. I was collected in Trieste and joined a group from a Cruise ship in Slovenia. The only down side was trying to get any information from the Company. I extended my trip by one day as I wanted to do this tour but could not find out whether we would be finished in time for the afternoon flight. I only found out what time the tour would start the day before. In the end it was a morning tour and arrived back at Lunchtime so would have had plenty of time to get the flight. When I spoke to the Tour Guide about the lack of info - he said the company is bad at talking to him as well!Written 2 February 2024
- 282melinday0 contributionsExcellent Tour guide🙌His knowledgeable in our excursion. Showcase us nice places in PIRAN . We have free time that’s just enough. Good thing he, Dean brought us in our perspective hotel especially I have flight on that dayWritten 23 October 2023
- seancT8016RC0 contributionsNice port city with lots going on.Trieste is a large port city. It doesn't really have any beaches you can swim from although there is a prom you can walk along which has ladders into the water. miremare castle was well worth the visit, and you can almost guarantee athat insta shot there.Written 13 October 2023
- Mike M0 contributionsA must read excursion! Our tour guide was Ernie, who was extremely knowledgeable about his home country of Slovenia. His pride of his country was a welcomed greet for us to experience. He receives high praise from us. Maureen & Mike MassaraWritten 11 October 2023
- MindyA7370 contributionsSlovenian wine and culture!Matt was a terrific guide. His Slovenian/Alaskan background, knowledge and experiences informed our tour well. Though the operator forgot to make our wine tasting reservation and consolidated two different tours into one, Matt provided a taste of culture and wine in Slovenia.Written 3 October 2023
- stephenwW4275YY0 contributionsKOPER TRIPS "Small Group Tours" are a SCAMKOPER TRIPS who provided this tour are DISHONEST and UNTRUSTWORTHY and are SCAMMING customers by charging for Small Group Tours which they don't operate. Lots of companies provide tours to the beautiful Postojna Caves so we suggest you try someone else who won't rip you off and then lie about it to TripAdvisor. We purchased a higher-priced Small Group Tour to the Postojna Caves which was advertised as having a maximum of 15 people. On the day, we were forced to take a coach with around 40 other people, by a very grumpy man who just kept telling us we were wrong even though we had the Small Group Tour order and receipt in our hands to prove it. We also found out there were several other people on the same bus who had purchased the higher-priced Small Group Tour but we're made to join in with the large, cheaper tour or miss out entirely. We later requested a partial refund from TripAdvisor, as whilst we reluctantly went on the large group tour (it was our last day in Trieste so had no other option to get to Postojna) we felt a partial refund was fair considering we paid extra for a Small Group. TripAdvisor refused to provide anything, saying the tour operator told them they had told us the day before the tour that the small group tour was not on. This is completely untrue as we never received any such notification. We asked TripAdvisor for proof from the tour operator that they did contact us, but they never replied. Disappointing service from TripAdvisor and complete lies from KOPER TRIPS.Written 28 September 2023
- AASAASASAADDXFE0 contributionsTerribleThe tour was cancelled by tour operator just the day before because of heavy traffic in high season. Terrible.Written 9 July 2023

These are "must see" sights. The formations in Postojna are amazing as is the castle. It's well worth the effort to climb all the way up to the cave castle. This was our second tour with Ernest, an excellent and fun tour guide. However the company should provide him with a bluetooth headset and microphone for the van to make it safer and more pleasant for guests and guide alike.

These are two ‘must see’ locations in Slovenia. Predjama Castle is like something out of a fairytale, yet it’s very real and historically very interesting. The audio guide was excellent. We wanted to visit the Postojna Caves because my partner had visited it when he was 11 (that was quite a long time ago!). The return visit did not disappoint - quite the opposite! It’s a wonderful experience, the cave system is so extensive, and the structures are beautiful. Highly recommend both.

A really good trip. Ernest, our guide, and Eddie our driver were great. Ernest gave some interesting and relevant facts about Slovenia, the cave and castle and Trieste. The cave was cold so do remember to bring a jumper. The train and cave were fascinating and beautiful. The castle was something out of either a fairy tale or a Bond movie - take your pick!

The views were amazing! And, yes, we took so many photos! Our neighbor recommended this site and we are happy we got to check it out in Slovenia. Our guide mostly just got us to the places, and we explored on our own.
