About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Q2410GSkellyb0 contributionsGreat shore excursionThis was such a fun way to see Genoa! Maria was very good choosing places to show us and gave a lot of very interesting information. Highly recommend!Written 11 November 2024
- Venture147394019600 contributionsNot a happy CamperThe Contractor cancelled out on the day before I was due to go on the tour (having booked 3 months prior and paid 1 month prior ) & finally Trip Advisor have not refunded my payment .- All in all not a good outcome - I would not recommend booking the way I did (the contractors excuse given was they only had 10 units and > 100 bookings - poor excuse - get your act togeather )Written 28 September 2024
- mary337530 contributionsInteresting way to see GenoaGreat experience. Guide was knowledge and accomoding. Different way to see city in an open air view. Able to see many areas in Genoa in only 2 hours.Written 26 September 2024
- DavidT94780 contributionsExcellent Tour - exceeded all expectationsOur guide and driver Lupe was excellent. She spoke very good English and her knowledge of history and dates was amazing. She knew answers to all our questions and added really relevant context. Lupe made everything so interesting and enjoyable as she was so engaging. The itinerary was well planned. We went to many of the historically important parts of Genoa. Most of the areas we visited are pedestrian streets and we would not have been able to cover the distances and see so many things in 2 hours if we had been walking. Such a clever idea.Written 18 September 2024
- Tourist470009330550 contributionsBrilliant few hours in Genoa, and we really enjoyed the rickshaw. I would definitely recommend 👍We had a very enjoyable and informative experience! Loved travelling around the streets of Genoa with Bruno. Well done, and Thank you!🤩Written 12 September 2024
- sophiasfny0 contributionsBest way to see historic centre of GenoaHighly recommend! This is the best way to see the historic centre of Genoa. The alleys are so narrow that the best way to get around and see all the palaces and churches is on a rickshaw. Guide was very knowledgeable. Great tour!Written 6 August 2024
- 72danielf0 contributionsPrivate tour around the city of GenuaNice tour around the City with an experienced guide. Easy and private way to discover the small streets and spots in Genua.Written 22 July 2024
- Relax5702190 contributionsGreat way to see Genoa! We thoroughly enjoyed this e-bike tour. It was a great way to see the city and enjoy a beautiful day. We were a little lost trying to find the meeting spot. The “bike shop” is litters just a roll up door. Luca was very informative and took us all over the city. This is an active tour and you need to be able to navigate through traffic and narrow streets. Highly recommend taking this tour!Written 15 July 2024
- tonitP4192TJ0 contributionsAbsolute best way to see Genoa! We did this tour while in port on a cruise. We had 7 people total, so our guides followed each other and they took turns at each stop to explain the history and the sites. The tour was amazing! Each of our guides was so knowledgeable, friendly and since they were also from various areas of Italy, we enjoyed their stories of both the city of Genoa as well as where they grew up. It was simply fantastic!! The office was especially helpful with the reservation as I was having trouble with making bookings for 4 rickshaws at the same time. If you have any issues, let them know - they will be happy to help! I would do this tour again!!Written 7 July 2024
- Mark R0 contributionsGood commentary with lots of interesting places.Covered a lot of ground and the guide gave interesting commentary throughout. So, even though we had already walked some of these streets we really enjoyed the tour.Written 16 May 2024
- Tanja I0 contributionsMuch more than we expected! This tricycle tour was really great, more than we expected. Our guide Lupe was very well educated, kind and polite, explaining us about Genova’s historical power in the past. And a lot details about Genovese people through the history. My sister and I was with her son, 4 years old, but even he was interested in all parts of tour because it is made with great sense of interest dinamic. So, I recommend to everyone to try this guided tour experience with Lupe and TripAdvisor.Written 12 May 2024
- Happiness561690234830 contributionsten out of ten points! Our tour guide was extremely pleasant and knowledgable. My sister and I are both well over 50 and learnt so much from this young lady. For example the origin of the words Jeans and Denim 😄 as well as lots of litte secrets about this awe-inspiring city we could never have learnt from any book. So in the spirit of ESC I say: TreeCycle Tour…..ten points!Written 9 May 2024
- Doghouse440 contributionsSuperb, the bestLupe did an amazing job! Some really beautiful sights, amazing info knowledge, helpfulness and friendliness are a real credit to her company, and she even dropped us to an area of amazing restaurants for us to eat at- highly recommended tour, personal as it’s only two- seats, for a couple. Missed the big tour groups so had a very unique experience. A+++++Written 18 April 2024

We have visited Genoa twice before while on a cruise holiday and on a recent stop-off we could not decide where to go or what to do, having visited the aquarium the first time and taken an open top bus tour the second. We had planned to just walk around, but were stopped by a girl in the port terminal who told us about the rickshaw tours they did. This sounded intriguing and different and so we booked it. A half hour later Sylvia arrived to collect us and we were on our way. What a fantastic, environmentally friendly way to see a place and see it we did. up back streets, down alley ways, all the places a bus can not go, and all the time Sylvia told us about buildings and landmarks we were passing, and stopped several times to allow us time to enter buildings and take photos. She dropped us off an our hour tour at the cathedral with directions for returning to the port. She was fantastic and so was the tour.

By the time of the tour i had already been in Genoa for 3 days and had some time to take a few walks around the city. On the day of the tour everything else made much more sense because, Gavino, my tour guide explained in detail the history of the main attractions, why they were there, how people used to live in this city and made me understand in detail the culture of the genovese people. He answered all my questions and showed that he is a knowledgeable and worth it tour guide.

An original and sustainable way to visit Genoa with a kind, very nice and very prepared Guide who made me discover the most hidden corners of the city telling me an infinite number of anecdotes and curiosities and answering all my questions. The four-hour tour allowed me to see everything calmly and make the most of this exceptional opportunity. A special thanks to Gavino, who allowed me to change the date at the last moment due to not too encouraging weather forecasts, and especially to Lupe, my Guide, who introduced me to Genoa with enthusiasm and without making me tired!

A beautiful experience!! We booked this rickshaw tour in the hope of seeing Genoa from a different point of view.....and we were absolutely satisfied!
Our cyclist told us inspiring anecdotes that not even my partner and I knew (regular visitors to Genoa for work).
Walking around the alleys while we were told about the peculiarities, smelling the typical smells and seeing such vivid colors made this weekend unforgettable!
The pedal lady whose name, despite myself, I no longer remember was very good.
Absolutely worth doing again!

We booked a rickshaw. We indicated where they could pick us up, which we thought was special. I told them beforehand what I definitely wanted to see, and they filled in the rest of the tour themselves. During the two-hour tour, x and y explained the city of Genoa in English in a fun and clear way. It was over 30 degrees, so respect to the boys. Highly recommended if you want to see all the highlights of Genoa within 2 hours.

Riksja tour. My mum, sister and I went to Genoa, the most wonderfull city we’ve ever seen. The company Treecycle, standing next outside to our cruiseship, recommended a tour by riksja, a citybike that would guide us through Genoa. The girl (Erica) was very helpfull and told us that her friend Luciana would lead us that day. Genoa is a beautifull, historical, breathtaking city with narrow streets and small squares. Our guide Luciana, a warm and kind girl from Argentina, told us interesting stories about the city. Genoa is a really breathtaking city you must have seen. And if you do, please take a tour with Treecycle. It will make your trip complete.

We were a party of 6 . Straight off the boat (msc cruise) we book 3 rickshaw for 2 people. The price was fair and well worth it . The tour was a 1 hour tour in genoa and our guides were (eliza, matilda, davidov) were wondwrfull. They took us to all the plces you must see and as it turns ourt genoa got a lot of history. A must take tour in our opinion short ,energy consuming and very good for a sunny and hot days.
Eliza was wonderfull and very knowladgeble on history. Plus she took us to a speciality snack bar for pesto and fucaccia .

We booked our tour at noon and meet up with Yosef/Yusuf at the Fountain at 16:00. He and the tour were excellent. It help us understand how the city was developed and the people involved. We learned so much. Our guide even dropped us at a restaurant after the tour. We are setting up a tour for our daughter when she arrives in two days. 10/10

Wonderful experience to see the highlights of the city. We will rode down back alleys where I was interesting to see but would have been a wasted walk. David, our guide was very informative. While there were thousands of tourists walking essentially nowhere, we sailed past them. One hour was enough to see see the city. If you are not a walker this is the only way to go. I highly recommend.

I'm confused. On the computer screen there are 2 different times for this tour: one says it is 1 hour long and the other says it is 4 hours. Which is correct and what does it cost?
