Nadia was such an amazing guide! This hike was full of beauty and majestic scenery at every turn. We learned so much that day. My daughter was experiencing Lake Como for the first time and I wanted her to see some of these places her dad and I had fallen in love with in a prior trip. Nadia shared the backstory and history to them and now I appreciate them even more. I’ll never look at black marble the same after all those black marble stones we helped to smooth and polish as we hiked in our shoes that day!

I recently attended the hiking and pasta cooking class, and it was an unforgettable experience! The day started with a beautifully organized hike, led by Nadia, who shared fascinating insights about the local scenery. The trail offered breathtaking views and a perfect balance of challenge and enjoyment. After the hike, we transitioned to the cooking portion of the day. The pasta cooking class was a highlight! Our instructor, Anna was enthusiastic and incredibly skilled, guiding us through the process of making fresh pasta from scratch. We learned various techniques and tips that made the experience both fun and educational. The hands-on experience of kneading the dough, shaping the pasta, and finally cooking it was incredibly rewarding. The end result was a delicious, homemade pasta meal that we all enjoyed together. The combination of outdoor adventure and culinary creativity made for a perfect day. This hiking and pasta cooking class is a must-try for anyone looking to connect with nature and enjoy a fantastic meal. I highly recommend it to outdoor enthusiasts and food lovers alike. Nadia was a lovely, knowledgeable and experienced tour guide. She offered great insight into the Lake Como area, toured us through off-the-beaten-path villages, and even allowed us to customize our experience to fit our schedule. Most importantly, I would highly recommend booking any tour with Nadia, as she is certain to provide great value to your Lake Como stay.

Booked trip only to have to cancel due to tour operator changing the tour time 2 days before. A full refund was provided but we could have booked a different tour during this time had we known that advertised time was not available.

Nadia really knows her stuff. My husband and I took the private walking tour of Como and Nadia showed us great walking areas and was more than willing to help us plan anything else we needed help with.

For all those who love a good mountaineering experience with great views, this is for you! But that's not all... The cost of the hike was ridiculously expensive with absolutely nothing included (the entrances to the palace and gorge had to be paid separately... and not even a bottle of water was given!). So the price only includes using your own feet. The trekking experience was practically nonstop and barely given time to take photos! The descriptions given by Nadia were not always accurate. While she was informative on some things, she wasn't on others. On the whole, while the trip could be done free of charge (if you know the routes), it could at least be done with half the price requested. But nonetheless, I felt I needed the exercise, so that's a plus!

My sister and I had an amazing time on the tour and making fresh pasta and tiramisu. Anna and Nadia were wonderful to spend time with.

I took my family to Italy and this was the best guided tour. We loved the food making (pasta and tiramisù) and Anna and Nadia's fun company!

I booked this via another website. The day we were traveling, the day before arrival to Varenna, we received an email that “I am sick and will not be able to do our tour, hope to see you next time!” No attempt to find an alternative guide. When is “next time” when you are traveling? I received a refund. I have had similar, but always was offered an alternative guide or plan. So unprofessional!

Such a wonderful experience following the ancient pathway from Varenna. At times the path can be steep but Nadia is an excellent guide with a keen eye on the weather and the walking ability of her clients. She is extremely knowledgeable about the area being a daughter of Varenna - and knows everyone. My daughter and I both greatly enjoyed our time with Nadia and the natural beauty of the pathway and its historical points of interest and natural beauty.

Nadia gave us the perfect day at Lake Como. We never would have had this unique and beautiful experience without her. The hike was a good challenge while still being able to enjoy the view. Nadia is also so knowledgeable in the history of the region and we learned so much. Thank you Nadia!!
