Highlights
  • Travel in the comfort of an air-conditioned coach
  • Discover Verona’s top sights, and learn about its history, on a walking tour
  • Enjoy free time in Sirmione, and upgrade for a Lake Garda cruise
What to expect
  • Begin your day trip at a central location in Milan. Meet your guide and hop aboard a comfortable coach, where you’ll journey toward Verona, the setting of Shakespeare’s famed Romeo and Juliet. Upon arriving, explore the city center on a 2-hour, guided walking tour. See the main squares of Piazza delle Erbe and step out onto 'Juliet's balcony' at the house of Juliet, rumored to be the former abode of the ‘real life’ Juliet from whom Shakespeare drew his inspiration. After visiting this romantic attraction, stop by the Roman Arena, the popular amphitheater where concerts and operas are held in the summertime. Then head to Piazza Bra, Verona's main square, and enjoy some free time to purchase lunch and explore the city on your own. Reunite with your guide after roughly an hour and hop back on your bus toward Lake Garda, once a summer resort area for the ancient Romans. Stop at the beautiful lakeside village of Sirmione and soak up more free time to explore the medieval streets and the moated castle of Rocca Scaligera. Hit the water with a 30-minute cruise on Lake Garda (own expense), or wander through a ruined Roman villa and admire archaeological finds. After a full day of exploration, your day trip will conclude at your original departure point in Milan.

The trip was well organized, informative and provided down time for browsing. The guide was very informative. There is an option to do a boat tour at lake Garda. I would recommend that they inform people of this before the trip, because it does cost.

My friend and I took a trip with this company in milan to go to Verona. Our tour guide made it clear she didnt wanna be bothered with the group. She had no.personality and just disappeared half the time without making any suggestions about what sites to visit on our free time. Although verona itself was great we ended up going to sirmione later due to traffic. Although it wasnt the tour guides fault we ended up spending an hour there. The weather was horrible to begin with (storm like rain) but we still ended up going. We were soaked from head to toe and sat on the bus for 2 hrs in wet clothes with the AC on. It was a waste of time and out of the way. What made matters worse was the fact that the bus literally passed our hotel on the way back but we were told we couldnt be dropped off there. We were dropped off in front of company's building which took us an extra hour to get back to our hotel by the time we got a taxi. Please offer drop off services if the hotel is passed otherwise do not ask where we are staying.

This tour allowed us to see many beautiful landmarks and sites In Verona and Lake Garda. The tourguides spoke fluently English and are very friendly. It's really a mus take 1-day trip if you visit Milan.

The tour of Verona was amazing thanks to our guide Andrea who is a history teacher and gave us so much great info about everything. Very interesting. Also good advice on where to get lunch and what to do in free time. That part I loved. Then we had 2 hours of free time in Verona which was not enough because there are huge masses of people everywhere so it takes a while to get served in a restaurant and see more places. Then we headed to Sirmione (Lake Garda). The boat ride was fun and I would advise to take it. Otherwise, we had 2 hours of free time there which was far far too long. All the food places there are ridiculously expensive and the village is tiny so you really need 1 hour max to see everything. I would much rather prefer to spend that additional hour in Verona instead.
