    amazing trip
It was one of the most amazing trip in my whole life. Knowledge of Ileana about vineyards and the entire local history is impressive. We spent the whole day on tour, and I wasn't at loose end for a minute. If you like or don't like wine, you should go on this trip.

Encyclopedic Knowledge of Barolo and Barbaresco With Relaxed Delivery
We spent 3 days with Silvia as our guide and her husband Fabio as our driver. For us this was a bit of a splurge and we are so glad we did it. We came away with a deep understanding of the Piemonte regions of Barolo, Barbaresco, and Roero. We felt transported in time and place. The rolling hills, castles, winemaking family stories and general history of the region along with the soil types and winemaking styles all added to the depth of the actual tastings. We highly recommend both Silvia and Fabio as guide and driver. Our memories of this tour will enhance every bottle of wine from the region that we open in the future.

    Too long and redundant
Silvana was great and knowledgeable, but I would not recommend this tour. With all the history of Torino and the things the City has to offer, this tour feels like a lot of redundancy all about the shroud which could be covered in one hour instead of three. There is no reason for this tour to be this long and this expensive since you won’t get to see the shroud anyways. I personally did not care for three hours of pictures and replicas.

A little way out but worth it
For art deco and beautiful sculpture lovers. A little way out . . . but a simply beautiful environment of art.

Great Skiing, terrible Torino Airport in Turin, Italy.
We had a great ski trip at Sauze D'oulx for the week, when done we, 12 in total parents and kids arrived at Torino departure area checkin desk. We were going since 5am transfer for an 11am flight. The lady at the Chekin desk (A5) was amazing, and sorted our checkin with superb efficiency, she has us all checked in and bags loaded in 5 minutes. đź‘Ś We then made our way through passport control. Then to Gate 3. We were flying with Tui Airways. The flight was delayed by 2 hours and....There were no seats to sit on. 12 members of my young family and friends had to sit on the dirty floor, as two hours was too long to stand. All other passengers were expected to stand or sit on the floor.. We approached one of the staff,, and his response was" that is how the airport was designed"!!! What organising would it have taken Torino Airport Authority to provide seats....Flight waiting areas to, Birmingham, Manchester and other destinations were all provided with some seating. The "Irish flight" waiting area was provided with none. Is this because the Italian airport believe the Irish won't complain and put up with the shoddy service provided. In the current Covid pandemic it is not sanitary to sit on floors waiting for flights. Shame on you Torino Airport Authority......

Amazing tour of Sacra di San Michele
Well organized and on time tour to the beautiful, mystical abbey on top of "Wild Pig" mount in foothills of the Alps. Emmanuella was knowledgeable tour guide, the day was beautiful and thus the views were clear. Be prepared for a moderate climb from the parking lot to the entrance, and then steep stairs to reach the church at top, traversing the "stairway of the dead". Lift is also available. Loved this tour. In total it was just a little over 4 hours, traveling on a nice bus.

    Death by detail!
The tour guide went into excruciating detail about every artwork in the monastery, drawing the wrath of the priest, who kept telling him to keep his voice down. It was unpleasant for everyone! The tour was not what I had expected - I thought it would be more about the architecture rather than the paintings.

    Recommended!
I had the opportunity to partake in this tour last month. It was an uncharacteristically foggy morning with rain the previous night after a hot week. The bus left on time with an art historian serving as our guide. It took almost an hour to reach San Michele. There was a steep climb up the mountain on a tarred road till you reach the site. Entering the sanctuary, you still will have to climb multiple stairs to reach the church. The tour group had additional participants who joined us at the church. There are multiple panoramic sights of Turin and surrounding valleys at the top. The tour lasted around two hours before we made our way back. There are many vendors on the way back down with interesting goods to sell. The guide spoke in Italian and English for the tour group members. The way back was a different route and showed us the countryside. It was all a good experience.

    Must seen when in Turin!
Probably one of the best tours I've ever been on. Extremely well organized -- our tour guide was informative and hospitable. The Sacra di San Michele itself was breathtaking -- the mountain views are beautiful. Moreover, walking through the monastery, with all its rich history, was truly a spiritual experience. If you enjoy Medieval history and are up for a good walk, you'll love this tour!

So far one of the best guides in Italy
It was a wonderful experience. Our guide, Iliana, was very knowledgeable and passionate. She was so nice and went above any expectations. She was opened to any questions and find the way to meet all our needs. I was going to take a train next morning and wasn’t familiar with area. She find a time after the excursion to take me to the train station and showed me how to find my train in the morning. I would definitely recommend this tour !

In the name of the Rose...
Sunday early morning, grey and chilly air... "Daytime sleep is like the sin of the flesh" The mountain was hided by a low cloud but when we went up, here we are, the abbeys appear on top of the rock, strong and proud, majestic even and so humble at the same time. We made the tour on our own and we enjoyed a lot, following our instinct and timing. We just had to be out of the church by midday because of the Sunday mass - obvious. It is a touristic place but used by living monks! Don't forget, it is a beautiful location but most of all a religious mecca, a strong spiritual location on the Saint Michaels's line. I'll go back on Spring for sure. “Love is wiser than wisdom.” Umberto Eco

Alberto was extraordinary and our tour was beyond delightful!
Thank you to Alberto for a wonderful evening chalked full of history and anecdotes! We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him visiting some remarkable hidden gems. Turin was so much more than I ever expected it to be and I will most certainly be back. The wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm Alberto had was impressive and greatly appreciated. There are not many people out there these days who have passion for what they do and he is definitely one of them. He exudes an appreciation and is clearly proud of his home and was more than pleased to share with our group! We were so fortunate to have him for our guide and our group was an intimate group of 4! Thank you so very much for the experience! It is one that we will never forget. Grazie Mile!!! Jennifer Moore & Josh Haag

    Do not waste your time
This "tour" consisted of walking several blocks on the main street looking at 2 shop windows and a hazelnut/sweets vendor with a very brief description of local products. We went into one truffle shop too. There was hardly any history provided which really is a shame. We were given internet tickets to the truffle fair. The line was longer than if we paid. The guide pointed out where we could buy glasses for a wine tasting then gave a top level description of the fair. No guidance beyond that. Please do not waste your time.

Wonderful underground Turin! Booked with get your guide 3-hour evening tour...a marvel and a real dive into history! We start with a visit to the Pietro Micca museum and from there we enter the underground galleries... truly unique! Then with the bus we move to the air-raid shelters of the now abandoned prisons. Highly trained guides! Then we move into the cellars of stately and historic buildings with all their legends and stories...very interesting! Finally you see the refrigerated tanks and iceboxes in a multi-storey car park and then exit into via Carlo Emanuele. Highly recommended tour! You come away with historical memories that come back to mind and with much more information. Thank you!

I live in the province of Turin and for years I have been curious to see the hidden part of this splendid city. What can I say... wonderful! Visit organized down to the smallest detail, from transport by private coach between the various stages, to the excellent preparation of the guide Stefania, up to a theatrical skit in Piedmontese! An absolute must do at least once in your life, not only for tourists but also for those who live in Turin.

We took this tour on a Saturday afternoon and it was a very interesting couple of hours spent.

Our guide Donatella spoke very good english and knew her history very well.

The tunnells date back to around 1706 and even my teenager enjoyed walking around the network of tunnels although he had to stoop at times as he is 6ft tall!

Added extras were a visit to the Torinesi's faourite church in Piazza della Consolata and also a flea market just north of Porta Palazzo (I think this was where it is) which is spread out over a maze of streets.

Many thanks for an interesting afternoon all round.

A quirky fun take on touring Turin—a number of sites joined by the fact that they’re underground. The guides English was excellent and her commentary knowledgeable. We highly recommend it.

Great tour. Our guide went beyond expectations to show us the area both underground and outside. Half of the time is underground and the other half is outside.

Super interesting tour with some unexpected history related to 1700's war with the French and WW2. It was also a great way to see the city and get some history and background on it as we walked between tunnel spots.
