The perfect blend of historical, cultural and geographical insights, all done with humour and interesting anecdotes. Worth every penny. You will not regret doing this tour.

Four of us had a fabulous day seeing the sights of the Dolomites with Alex. Alex is very professional, an excellent driver (I had my doubts beforehand about the hairpin bends as I'm a nervous passenger but I had no cause for concern with Alex's driving) and his car is extremely comfortable. Alex is knowledgeable about his home region and the information he shared was interesting. This tour was a little pricey for us given our current exchange rate, but we could not fault it, and it was definitely worth the money to get such a great overview of the Dolomites in just a day. Very highly recommended, you will not be disappointed.

Allesandro couldn’t have shown us a better tour. The first day, he researched our family home in Cloz and took us to see the sites and to buy some copper made in the area for more than a hundred years. The second day, he took s on a Grand Tour of the Dolomites. He is obviously in live with this area. We had a great day! He watched the weather and arranged our days so the weather would be the best in the Dolomites. Memories for a lifetime!!!

Bolzano is a historic city and the gateway to the Dolomites. It is beautiful and walkable. Many attractions, good food and wine.

We can’t say enough good things about our tour with Alessandro in the dolomites. He did an exceptional job showing us this magnificent part of northern Italy. It was not easy for him that day because the weather was a bit rainy, so some sites were not as visible as we all would’ve liked. But he made up for this with all of his interesting stories, Friendly personality, beautiful towns, and magnificent lakes. It was also easy to reserve the trip with him online, and our correspondence was excellent.

We recently enjoyed a full day excursion from Bolzano up into the magnificent Dolomites. Our guide & driver Alessandro Scacchetti collected us at our front door at 8.30am and delivered us safely back after 5.00 pm. He tailored the tour to suit the changing weather of the day and in doing so we were blessed with some extraordinary views. Alessandro is passionate and knowledgeable and a local of Bolzano and we were privileged to be in his company. We highly recommend Alessandro and the excellent service he provides.

The itinerary was excellent, the accommodation very good, and the guide (Tolga) was fantastic. [The weather was also very good, and so too was the add-on balloon ride in Cappadocia.]

Bolzano must be one of the most under rated places in Italy as a tourist destination. It is the listed as the gateway to the Dolomites and certainly lives up to that tag. The town is enchanting and is a natural hub to all the Dolomites have to offer. Bus system is great and enables visits to nearby destinations with ease. There is plenty to see and do - I am talking about hiking and sight seeing v skiing. Plenty to do.

When a tour guide has a great sense of humor and has passion for what they are showing it makes for a great time. The wrong guide can ruin a trip and the right guide makes even a mediocre trip memorable. We had the best of both. Take the cable car to the top for breathtaking views. Alessandro is knowledgeable and brings the area to life. For an added bonus be sure to ask Alessandro to show you some of the more fascinating animals to be found in the Dolomites, including the feared Chupa Sangre :) We very highly recommend Alessandro as the best of the best in terms of private tours in the Dolomites.

Alex is a great tour guide who made a good suggestion for us to change the date of tour due to bad weather. Eventually, we enjoyed both eastern and western tours in perfect weather conditions so that we can see the best of Dolomities. Highly recommended!

The views were incredible. Took dozens of photos and made as many memories. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. If you’re looking to hike, do not do the all day tour - it is designed so that you can truly see everything noteworthy in just one day, and you’ll be out of the car a good amount, but there is a lot of driving. Can cross this off the bucket list, but surely want to go back and do a hike or two in these fantastic mountains.

Alex was a wonderful host and tour guide. Perfect balance between guiding us and giving us space on our own. We would never have done this all on our own. Best day of our whole trip!! Thank you Alex!

Alex was absolutely fantastic and we couldn't have been more pleased with the tour. My family had only one day to spend in the Dolomites and we feel we had the best possible experience within our limited time frame. Alex is a local from the area and knows exactly the right places to bring you and the right times to avoid crowds/traffic. He offers a very full day that includes the major sights, and he is also flexible and can tailor the schedule to your preferences. For instance, we passed a castle that caught our eye and he squeezed in a quick stop for us to see it. In short, we wholeheartedly recommend taking a tour with Alex!

The entire trip was more than perfectly organized and extremely well-conducted by a very friendly and well-structured guide named Alessandro. Everything was very safe and informative and Alessandro is just the guide to book for the Dolomites. Alessandro taught us a lot and he used every single minute to share his knowledge. He was also very entertaining by sharing many interesting facts and stories as well as unusual and astonishing anecdotes. However, he also gave us enough time to spend on our own, but he was always there to help and to instruct or to inform. We would say you would not be able to get any better guide than Alessandro. We will definitely do more trips with him in the future.
