    Great!
The food was great to sample and the guide was knowledgeable about the streets and history of the town and the food. Recommendations were made at the end. Glad we took part in this to be able to sample the type of food typical to Venice culture.

Pleasant and friendly guide, decent food stops .
Pleasant guide, visited a few spots we probably would not have discovered otherwise, thought the guide could’ve shared a little more knowledge on Venice and the landmarks/ history. There were 5 food stops which was great for the price so good value, we enjoyed 2 or 3 out of the 5. The first stop was our very least favorite.

Great introduction to traditional food in Venice
We enjoyed this tour of Venice and the introduction to various types of cicchetti. Thank you Denys!! We had a wonderful time. We appreciated all of the tips for places to eat during our stay.

    So much fun!
This was such a great introduction to Venetian food with plenty of history included! All the places we went to were excellent, and aside from the first place which involved a set three dishes (which were delicious), at every place we were able to choose from a selection of 3-4 dishes including vegetarian dishes. Our guide -- Tony -- was also great!

Delicious food, smart and funny local guide. Be willing to try new things!
Tasty snacks and great to learn more about the Venetian dining and culinary culture. Dennis was fun and gave good context. If you are not interested in trying regional treats -- whipped fish, octopus, creamy desserts -- please just go to a restaurant instead. Allergies are accommodated, but if you're incurious/unadventurous/unwilling to try new things -- don't do a local food tour. (It was crazy to us that half our tour group didn't want to try local specialties -- not because they were allergic, but because they didn't think they'd like them!!!!) Would recommend to anyone else! Everything was delicious and the guide was 10/10.

    Great family tour
Wonderful tour. Great to have someone help with the cicchetti orders. It was also nice to learn more about the Jewish ghetto. Tour guide Alice was great with our kids and helped find something they each liked. We did this tour the day we landed to keep ourselves awake and not to have to worry about dinner.

    Feeling welcomed to Venice
Our tour guide was Dennis. Knowledgeable and funny. The variety of the places was nice, great food and beverages underlined with nice anecdotes - perfect mixture. We appreciate him adapting to one of us being a vegetarian. Highly recommendable.

A great way to see and taste Venice
Denys was an excellent guide. We were treated to a history of Venice alongside great food. A good way to see parts of the city you could easily miss.

    Super fun food tour!
This food tour was so fun! This was my first time out of my home country and I was a little nervous wandering around on my own. I was also uncertain what kind of food or restaurants would be considered good. It was so nice to have a local person leading me around, showing me the sights and showing me really popular food. It felt nice to have someone metaphorically holding my hand while we explored the city. Not that the city felt dangerous in anyway, its just being a foreign person in a foreign place can be overwhelming and our guide, Tony was so kind and had a ton of fun information to share with us. We followed him around the city and took paths that I would never take on my own as a tourist. This trip was one of the funniest tours we took on our visit and I would highly recommend it and I would absolutely do it again! There was a lot of walking on this tour, so be prepared for that. And the food was mostly what I would call little snacks or appetizers. So I didn't really get overly full after our little tour and I would say there's some room for dinner afterwards. But the experience was sooo fun it was totally worth it. The guide does take into consideration people who are vegetarian and there was vegetarian options at each place. Tony was also careful to ask about allergies and made sure to announce if there were certain allergens at each restaurant. Be careful walking around and eating though!!! The seagulls WILL TAKE IT FROM YOU!!

    Great Time with Tony
We had an amazing tour with plenty of good food and wine. The tour food is more aperitivo type foods and not pastas or pizza. Tony was a fantastic guide who took us to small little neighborhood wine bars and cicchetti shops. We also had a stop at a local fish vendor and of course gelato at the end. Highly recommend this trip to all visiting Venice.

    Fun and tasty tour
Our tour guide Denys took us on a fun and informative 2.5 hour tour around central Venice, stopping to try a variety of foods including pastries, various ciccheti and gelato. I'd recommend this to any foodies!

What a delightful experience. Our guide, Vanessa, was knowledgeable and passionate about the area, the history and the Jewish culture. Not being of Jewish heritage, the stories were only vaguely familiar but we left with such a richer understanding.
The food and drinks were amazing.
Be prepared for a lot of walking but every step was worth it.
I couldn’t recommend highly enough. Bring you appetite, there was so much food.

Didn't know what to expect on this tour, but turned out to be one of the best experiences we had while visiting Venice. Our tour guide Alicia was the absolute BEST! She was knowledgeable and personable. The four hours flew by and by the end we felt like we were saying goodbye to a friend rather than a tour guide. If you get the chance to take this tour you won't be disappointed

This tour is going to linger a long time in the memory. For just a few hours we felt like proper Venetians! A massive thank you to Alice who gave us a fantastic evening. The history she shared was fascinating but she also taught us so much about what it really is like to live in Venice. The food was such a treat - places we would never have found and tastes we would never have tried. Walking with her through deserted canal side paths and over little stone bridges in the dusk - absolutely magical. Do this tour. We would do it again if we go back to Venice. Thank you Alice. Xx

The tour is advertised as a two hour walking tour of the Jewish Ghetto with a guide who will lead you through the streets and squares of Old Ghetto and the historic synagogues of Venice. The description provided is very misleading.
We had completed the Jewish ghetto tour within 45 minutes which did not include visiting the synagogues but only identifying their location within the ghetto. We then spent the rest of the time walking around lesser well known areas of Venice which is not what we were expecting and definitely not what we had paid for.
The tour should have been advertised as a 1 hour tour only and should have specified that it did not include visiting the synagogues
We paid for and expected a two hour tour of the Jewish Ghetto but received a tour which lasted only 45 minutes, consequently,
I have requested a refund of half the cost of the tour

Don’t miss this tour! Vanessa was absolutely amazing! We loved that right away she was able to determine everyone in our groups food choices . The tour was so interesting and each stop was unique and quite informative. Vanessa’s passion to share her knowledge was a bonus. We had the opportunity to try such an array of food in each stop!

I booked for this tour but the guide was sick so they asked me if I like to join another food tour in Rialto area. I joined the group of 11 and I definitely recommend it. Julia was very friendly and informative. She not only introduced all the great food spots but also some fun facts and stories about the city too! All the food spots were amazing and must try! Some of them are hidden gems so I wouldn’t have gone myself. Julia also recommended drinks at each spot so we all had drinks and food. Even though each portion was small, I got very full at the end of the tour.

This tour was awesome. It was a great way to try new foods and to get to know a new area of Venice with the history! Our guide was simply fabulous! she made suggestions and was very knowledgeable/friendly with the tour! Would highly recommend doing this tour! I loved how she got involved with us and asked about us personally to get to know us more!

It was amazing to try something suggested/new and all foods/drink was amazing to try.

Our food tour with Vanessa was outstanding. Vanessa was waiting for us at the meeting location. We walked to different areas and Vanessa explained all the information in an interesting and fascinating way. She really knows her history. The choices she made for the food tour were perfect for our small group. I would recommend the Food Tour, but make sure you are hungry as there was so much to eat. You can tell Vanessa really loves what she does .

We had a wonderful experience during this tour. Our tourguide was Alice and she was so passionate about Venice, the Jewish Ghetto, food and wine. We could really relate! It was a tour with only 4 persons so there was a lot of time to get to know one another. We have enjoyed an abundant amount of chiccetti, drinks and the true Venetian desert: Tiramisu! If you are into good food and wine, don't hesitate to book this tour!
