About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 582jeanninem0 contributionsTour of St Mark'sTour of St Mark's was great! Tour leader was very knowledgeable. Our group was small so there was plenty of time for questions.Written 16 October 2024
- Karen S0 contributionsBeautiful Burano, too touristy in Murano. We were delayed making it on time for our morning tour, but luckily, the booth woman got us on the afternoon tour - for an additional 5 Euros. The stop in Murano was a quick demo and basically time to shop in that shop. It really wasn't going to a glass shop but a tourist set up. Burano had a little introduction upon arriving, then time to wander around and shop. It was beautiful. I think though both were basically just transportation to the places vs a tour.Written 7 October 2024
- Cancerbuster10 contributionsUnacceptable ServiceI have never written a bad review. This is my first. We are very concerned that the tour operator was not at the meeting location at 6:30pm (as booked - confirmed time on our ticket). We then called the tour operator who told us to go to the gondola starting point, to show our tickets and we can start the tour there. However, the gondola tour operator (Christopher) told us that our tour operator company only does tours until 5:30 pm with them, as later the gondola ride costs $110. So we paid $110, Viator and the gondola operator. There was also no info on where to pick up our evening walking tour after the gondola ride and the tour operator did not answer the phone after 6:30pm. Please be sure to give us our money back on this sadly fully failed tour on our first night in Venice, which was supposed to be our romantic evening intro to the city. Make sure to avoid this company for your tours…Written 12 May 2024
- normanp3110 contributionsHighly recommended. With some more coffee and active people watching, we recharged our batteries and pushed on to join our pre-arranged afternoon tour of St Mark’s Basilica and Doge’s Palace. Both were great and the tour guide provided context and history about Venice. Recommended.Written 5 November 2023
- 379jeninem0 contributionsA perfect tour in Venice!!Ottivia was spectacular! Taking the evening private city tour and gondola ride was a blessing! No crowds, peaceful time to listen to her vast knowledge of the city. Her genuine love for Venice was so evident in the manner of which she interacted with us. We loved everything about it and her!!Written 29 September 2023
- Irishgirl19630 contributionsDefinetely tecommend . We skipped the walking partthe day had been long .It was raining when we met for the gondola ride . But, the sky cleared as we walked to the gondolas, and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful sunset. The ride was peaceful.Written 20 September 2023
- Jennifer B0 contributionsJust OKSo this tour was separated into two parts and there’s like an hour of hour and a half in between, and I do not remember them saying that initially, but anyway, the gondola ride was fun but the guys operating them were chatting together the whole time. I feel like they should’ve been talking to us if anybody. The walking tour guide was very nice, but none of the radios worked, so it was very difficult to hear her. The stories on the walk itself I do not really feel like was worth the money.Written 20 August 2023
- Avel M0 contributionsNot what we expectedVisiting both of these islands was a little boring. Not what we expected. It was kind of lonely area. Not much to do or see. All restaurants closed very early and we did not get to eatWritten 13 July 2023
- 515DaveW5150 contributionsNice guy but disappointing cruiseMilo, our 'guide' is a really nice guy. Articulate and easy to talk to, but, Milo, you have to step up your game. First - on a two hour cruise in hot weather, you should have a couple of cold drinks even if only water and maybe a snack. Second - the only "mystic" part was explaining about the legend of a few haunted houses and buildings. Third - Milo doesn't have a boat or license to allow going into Venice, so our cruise "around Venice" was truly AROUND the outside of venice, not down any of the canals as we expected, so we only saw the periphery of Venice. Milo - you're a nice guy, but I have to be honest: we were disappointed for the above reasons, and I know you can do better for $350 US.Written 12 July 2023
- Greg S0 contributionsGood ride with amazing viewsWe were fortunate the early day rain cleared for the boat ride and islands visit. The glass blowing demonstration only last 10 minutes and was amazing to watch. Wish there had been more time on Murano. Felt very hurried to get back to boat and not very clear how to return to the boat as we were searching for the correct path from the other side of the building. Burano has beautiful buildings to see, not at all interested in lace and the so called demonstration was watching a woman see in a shop. Too much time spent on Burano.Written 26 April 2023
- Taher K0 contributionsInconsiderate organisers. Avoid this tour. The gondola ride was great. The walk was supposed to start at 8:30 pm. I reached the meeting spot at 8:31, and the guide had already left without waiting for even 5 minutes. The company's coordinator called someone a few times, but the opposite party did not extend and help. Eventually, I missed half the experience completely. Do NOT take this tour. They are inconsiderate and will run off even if you are just a tad late.Written 10 April 2023
- Maureen C0 contributions100% waste of time and money! This tour was completely not worth the price nor the experience! The meeting point was beyond troubling to find. The gondola ride was super short and the evening tour was beyond boring. In fact, our guide left us in the middle of the second bar stop! She was completely disinterested. Furthermore, the food at each respective bar was terrible!Written 12 August 2022
- annasZ6079RQ0 contributionsWorth it onceOverall there was nothing ‘wrong’ with our tour. Checking in was easy, we waiting in the shade until our tour time. The guide walked us very quickly to the boat. It would have been incredibly easy to get separated from the group or not be able to keep up with her. The walk was fairly fair, so not sure why the check in booth is where it is. Once on the boat the ride over was nice. You’re shuttled directly to the glass blowing facility first - literally into their warehouse. To exit you’re required to walk through the showroom. Burano made us feel a bit like going to a zoo- we docked next to peoples back yards, walked the path by their front doors. People were taking photos of the doors, windows, etc which felt very invasive. Both stops were beautiful, but I did feel like we were invading the privacy of the people that live there. Glad we did it, will never do it again though.Written 29 July 2022
- twtm13070 contributionsHard to find.Need better information on where the departure point is - we couldn't find it and ended up missing the tour. They still haven't issued a refund.Written 14 April 2022
- Watty04070 contributionsAn absolute must whilst you are in VeniceIt was a little formulaic but enjoyable and interesting to do once. The gondolier was charming and they are obviously so very skilful (and well-balanced)Written 5 November 2021
