Our tour guide, Gianmarco, gave a personalized and informative tour that I’d recommend to anyone visiting Venice. We went alongside another couple, which resulted in the tour having an intimate environment where we could ask as many questions as we could come up with. While Venice is a relatively large city, Gianmarco made it feel small and digestible. Would 10/10 go on this tour again if given the chance!

Excellent Tour Just returned from a week long vacation in Italy and this tour with Denise was amazing. Her explanations were thorough and just the right level of detail for our family of four, including two teenagers. She was entertaining, informative and very funny - we wished she could join us for the rest of our vacation!

Valentina was delightful. She shared interesting facts and information, was always open to questions and kept us entertained throughout the tour. We were fortunate to have a small group and were able to dive deeper into questions and local history and enjoyed a lot of laughs. We learned enough to feel very comfortable enjoying Venice on our own the next several days.

Daisy was an excellent tour guide! The walk was so informational and focused on not just the history but the everyday lives of the Venetian people. She took us places we didn’t even know existed. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves knowing more about the places they visit.

We did the tour on the first day we arrived in Venice which proved to be a great decision. It was a great introduction to such a unique place. Our guide was wonderful, very nice and personable and gave us the perspective of a Venetian living nowadays in Venice, as well as a huge amount of historical context for everything we were seeing. We had a pretty small group so it felt quite intimate and the tour was very helpful to decide what we wanted to see next. Highly recommended!

We had a fabulous tour! It was our second day in Venice and we had already seen St Marks. She customize our tour to what we wanted. More time at Doge palace. Back streets and restaurants. Art galleries. We loved it. It was my wife and 2 adult daughters and son-in-law. Great english. Great enthusiasms. Friendly. Excellent tour.

Denise was the best tour guide ever! She is a native Venetian, so it was great to hear her stories about life for the people who call Venice home. She is also so knowledgeable about the history of the city and all the beautiful sites we saw. The gondola ride was a lot of fun. My wife could not stop taking pictures. This has been the highlight of our trip to Italy.

Visited many areas of Venice that there’s no way we would’ve found without this tour. It felt authentic and informative and we learnt a lot about Venice and the people living there. It’s a must see for anyone who really wants to learn a little bit about Venice other than the top attractions and obviously tourist things to do. English was excellent guide has a PHD in history, what more could you want?

Great tour! We loved our guide Denise. She was so knowledgeable but also fun! A true Venetian who went above and beyond and told and showed us so much more than we expected. We felt like locals for a bit, eating the best gelato in a quieter neighbourhood away from the crowds. And went away with many stories and recommendations and tips for dinner and shopping.

Our guide Daisy was so informative, no question went unanswered. She took us to so many places we had not discovered in our previous days of navigating and getting lost so many times even with gps. Daisy took our group on the tour navigating with just her local knowledge. She was awesome, very friendly and welcoming. If you have the time, it’s well worth the walking tour
