Very helpful and friendly staff. Drew diagrams on the mask for me to copy. Lots of colours available and happy to mix more. Easy location to find.

A fun activity with lovely, patient, knowledgeable staff. My eight year old had a blast. One of his favourite activities so far. I highly recommend!

My granddaughter and I took a mask making workshop here. We learned how the masks were made and had the opportunity to choose a mask and paint/decorate it. Daniel was a fantastic instructor who guided us every step of the way. The class was scheduled for 2 hrs; we were there closer to 2 1/2 hrs.

Such a great experience. We enjoyed learning about the history of masks in Venice while creating beautiful masks of our own. Even the less artistic in our family are thrilled with the final product. Highly recommended for families!

What an amazing experience. One of the best in activities we have ever done while on holiday. The kids were entertained and so were we.

This is such a great way to spend a few hours. The host was funny and went out of his way to make sure you were happy with your mask. You get to take it home with you which makes it such a unique souvenier.

22/26 Aug 2023. Booked this for my two sons (10 and 12 years old). They wanted to do the painting and were keen to do the full course including paper mache mask making (pre painting) but couldn’t quite make it work. In the 2 hour lesson (also one hour options) it was just the two of them with an art student. They had the best time. Couldn’t stop talking about it. So much so that they had to book in again before we left and continue to plan what they will do next time! The student was so nice and patient with them. They enjoyed even more because of him. I left the kids there for the 2 hour session with him. The owner of the store is also lovely and has a gorgeous shop of masks and costumes. Stunning. Highly recommend. I know we will be back. From the kids: no doubt 5 stars. One of the top 3 things we did in Venice (and we did a lot!). student who taught the course is very kind. Speaks English too (very helpful as my kids prefer English if they have a choice). Explains the history behind the masks. Very creative and has made some very cool masks. Very helpful and good ideas. Loved this course with him. Loved it. Liked how he let us choose the mask and how we decorated it, but helped give us inspiration / ideas. Being with him is as just fun and relaxing! This was such a great experience if you’re visiting Venice. My wife and two daughters did the class and they loved it. We highly recommend.

We got great fun, myself and my daughter, got great advice and guidance and lefthone with our very own crafted masks. The host was so nice.

My daughter and I had so much fun painting our masks. The owner was friendly and funny. It’s a great way to learn a little history and unleash your creativity.

The family that runs this mask shop is wonderful. It is not commercial at all, but true artists that enjoy creating one-of-a-kind pieces. We were slightly late — they were very accommodating and allowed us to take our time to develop our own works of art. They also allowed us to tour their store and get a peek of their costume making. Bonus was listening to Bruce Springsteen and Kenny Chesney music while we created our masks. They made us feel like we were part of their family and it was probably the best tour we’ve participated in while visiting Italy. Truly love them and can’t wait to come back.

Superb experience. Worth all its time and effort. Our host was a true craftsman, guiding us all the way. We walked away with a true example of a genuine Venetian mask with no experience apart from being able to hold a paintbrush.

Absolutely fantastic experience! We took our girls to make and decorate masks and they loved every minute of it . Owners were so friendly and welcoming so girls wanted to go back for another session in the same day :) we will definitely visit again next time we are in Venice and maybe try out beautiful costumes !
