- giannam5410 contributionsAwesome experienceGreat tour! Experienced tour guide who was fun and personal and answered all questions. Great way to see a lot all over townWritten 10 March 2025
- Jameslewis40 contributions100% worthy of top rating.A really interesting and enjoyable tour with our guide Silvia. All of the details about the underground sites were expertly and clearly explained. The roman city remains and the WW II school tunnel were both incredibly interesting in very different ways.Written 5 March 2025
- markbR8826WJ0 contributionsPleasant and relaxing experienceThis tour is absolutely worth going to. The sites we visited were spectacular. Francesca is very knowledgeable and explained many details that would not have been obvious to a casual observer. And having the travelling included was a big plus - we did not have to make any arrangements, apart from the fact that she is a very careful driver. Totally recommended.Written 2 January 2025
- R1296PRemmak0 contributionsTruly outstandingWow! What an amazing underground tour! Absolute highlight of our time in Cagliari. Our tour guide was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and so passionate about his city. As a family with a 16 year old and 7 year he captured their minds too. We learnt so much and so glad we chose this tour. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tour and company it's a must if you're visiting Cagliari. Thank you so much Sardinia Magic Experience!Written 23 December 2024
- ChloeW14850 contributionsA Stifling Experience: Overcrowded and UnderwhelmingThe Underground Cagliari tour was just "okay" for me. The biggest issue was the overcrowding; there were simply too many people, making it difficult to breathe and quite uncomfortable. I found it challenging to hear the tour guide for much of the tour due to the crowd. Cutting down the number of tourists significantly would have made the experience better. I highly advise against going in the summer—the heat and stuffiness were almost unbearable. Additionally, the tour felt a bit dull, and the guides' English wasn't very strong, which added to the overall lackluster experience. I wouldn’t recommend this tour during peak tourist seasons due to the heat and crowding. However, it might be more enjoyable with fewer participants and cooler weather.Written 14 November 2024
- brianmM3545VN0 contributionsPanoramic and Old Cagliari tourThe tour was private. Francesca was a terrific, knowledgeable tour guide taking us to numerous locations in the city and outskirts.Written 5 November 2024
- GabyE9480 contributionsA trip not to be missedAbsolutely loved our trip. Our guide, Maggie, was really fun, friendly and very knowledgable - she made the experience special. This is such a unique trip, there is nothing like it anywhere else in the world. I definitely recommend anybody, who stays in Cagliari, to experience this amazing site.Written 4 October 2024
- lazytravelerTacoma220 contributionsFun tour, great tour guideThis was a great tour. I would recommend for a nice intro to Cagliari and Sardinia history. Make sure you wear good walking shoes as it involves a fair amount of walking to the three sites around the city, each underground of course. Our guide spoke great English and incorporated history with each site.Written 1 October 2024
- TheGavantingHaggis0 contributionsFascinating, well-paced, unusual city sightseeing tour!Extremely informative and friendly guide Sylvia had us all entranced with the history of the city, starting in the 20th century in a candle lit tunnel complex and then going back to pre and early Christian times at Crypta di Santa Restituta and finishing at Area Archeologica di Sant'Eulalia with many fascinating excavated Roman artifacts from 1st and 2nd centuries AD. Sylvia was very willing to answer questions and discuss aspects of the city, giving us a good insight into the history of Cagliari and Sardinia.Written 24 September 2024
- edwinv1300 contributionsGreat tour cagliari with FabioThanksFabio for the great tour, thanks for all the explanations of the visits. The wine tour after the tour was also greatWritten 13 September 2024
- Ronald C0 contributionsUnground in CagliariWe visited 3 locations. First was a bomb shelter built for the students and faculty of the still existing school. Very informative and interesting. See attached photos. Next was a down hill walk about 500 meters to a church that also had a bomb shelter…see photos attached..lastly, we stopped at our final destination a museum that had artifacts dating back many centuries ago..Written 25 August 2024
- Quest2330310 contributionsGreat underground tourThe tour guide was amaizing, wery funny and with a lot of knowledge regarding the history of the underground. Totally worth it.Written 24 August 2024
- joyg80 contributionsInformative, low stress, and friendly! Our tour guide Francesca was very accommodating and relaxing, even while giving us a very thorough tour of the old city. Given that we had some physical limitations, she recommended stopping for tea after a steep climb, which was lovely. It was very low stress and somehow she kept us on track timewise. She knew so much about Cagliari and answered our hundreds of questions with ease - including personal ones about her family who lived locally for generations. We most enjoyed seeing the fortress towers and the Villanova section of town with plants and flowers lining the narrow streets. Great tour!Written 24 August 2024
- joyg80 contributionsUnique experienceThis tour was special. It started underneath a middle school, which felt especially cool for my 9 year old. The pathways were lit by candles, which added an air of mystery. The tour guide Sylvia let us help blow them out on our way out of the tunnels - so fun! Sylvia was a wealth of historical information. Great tour!Written 24 August 2024
- joyg80 contributionsAmazing tour guide and fascinating tour! Our tour guide Maggie was wonderful. Her willingness to give us a taste of this unique part of Sardinia was unmatched. She was informative, entertaining, interesting, and patient! This was my 9-year-old son's favorite part of our whole trip to Sardinia. This fun adventure had it all for him and for us! Note that Su Nuraxi is not easy to navigate if you have physical limitations. There were a lot of steps in the archeological site. Part of the tour involved sitting on your butt to slide down four steep stairs in a narrow path. Wear sneakers and pants/shorts you don't mind getting a little dirty!Written 24 August 2024

Really good trip. Fabio was a great guide with perfect English. He pointed out interesting features on the road to Nora and even stopped so we could see the famous flamingos. His knowledge of the history of Nora was very in depth and he explained the site very well. Also cares for us well in the hot Italian sun!

This was an excellent tour thanks to our tour guide, Francesca. We were lucky to have such a great guide. She was fun, enthusiastic and extremely well educated. Not just that she speaks 4 languages and is highly literate, but she really knows the history of the country and everything about the places we saw. Francesca told us all about the ruins and could explain every bit of Nora, as well as local customs. We asked many questions and she always had deeply informed answers. Amazing. This was like traveling with a fun history professor. Good driver and solid communication, too. Met us at the port on time. Made good recommendations for places in town. This was one of the highlights of our trip.

Gracias
