The highlight of our family trip with a local family that truly cares
This experience and tour was the highlight of our two week stay in the Sardinia and Corsica region. Francesca, Francesco and Nonna treated us like family while showing us the deep and rich history of their town and culture. We did not even feel like we were on a tour, we felt like we were with family. Their smiles, kindness and humility made our time together so special that we did not want it to end. If you want to experience the local culture and food with a local family this experience is a must.

Francesco and his family are wonderful.
We spent the day touring the local museum, and preparing and enjoying a meal with Francesco and his family. We made unleavened bread, three types of pasta and enjoyed meal all those items plus homemade prosciutto, cheese and dessert. Of course there was wine involved. What a fabulous way to spend an afternoon in Aritzo. I highly recommend spending the day with Francesco and his family - it will always be one of our treasured memories.

We did an Aritzo visit with Franchesco, this is a must if you go to Sardinia. It was like sharing a day with our own loving family. Fantastic people and one of the most valuable experience while traveling in Sardinia. Molto gratzie

Cooking class, museum visit, cafe visit, agricultural visit, carpenter visit
Checco and his family have done a tremendous job in showing me around Aritzo, with the absolute highlight being the cooking class at the family house. Amazingly positive energy and going beyond expectations made for a memorable day! I'll be back :)

          A warranty!
It was on my vacation in this wonderfull island in september 2017 that I got interested in trekking. Two months later I moved to sardinia and my first tought was to find a way to do excursions and guided tours so that I could get to know better the landscape. I was lucky enough to meet Francesco right after I moved and it could not be better! Since the first excursion I had clear that he was not the kind of guide you contact just to spend a different day. Every single excursion is studied to show the landscape, but this is not all.. Francesco finds everytime the way, organizing games, lunches or drinks post trekking, to let the partecipans interact creating a great harmony and, why not, new friendships. In this way I met a group of beautiful people I could not do without! To whom can’t do the trekking experience I suggest the “family experience” a unique experience with Francesco’s relatives who’ll hold a cooking class to teach the tipical sardinians dishes in a worm, welcoming atmosphere in wich forget, even just for a bit, everyday’s routine.

Francesco is the Best! An amazing Family Experience!!!
Francesco is amazing. We did a 7 day tour of Sardinia with hi. We have 3 boys and they loved Francesco! He explains everything in detail and with great care. Francesco really knows the people and we got hands on with the locals, which was great. We were able to tour ALL of Sardinia, meet the people, see the sights, and get interactive with the experience. Francesco is very warm and friendly and really cares about the land and making sure you have a good time. I can't say enough good things about hi and our experience!! If you're going to Sardinia, be sure to talk to Francesco first and make sure you book him!!

          Fabulous tour
Francesco is a wonderful guide - very knowledgeable in both archeology and the flora/fauna of Sardinia, and a very nice person. He expertly guided us through the Giara di Gesturi and the Su Nuraxi in Barumini, as well as pointing out many interesting things about Sardinian culture, history and countryside. We highly recommend him. Many thanks for an unforgettable day, Francesco!

          Wonderful winery visit
I booked and paid well in advance for Francesco’s half day wine tour for four of us. I was very happy with the communication with Francesco prior to the tour. After arriving in Cagliari, two days before the tour, I received an email from Franco from a different email, Sardinia Tour Guide, confirming our tour. I was confused but after emailing both Francesco and Franco it seems they work together at times. So it was Franco who took our tour. It was the same tour to the same winery. Franco was personable, efficient and informative with very easy English. The highlight was Giuseppe and his vineyard and winery. It is a very hands on vineyard that is worked traditionally without machinery to pick the grapes. The winery was also very traditional. Giuseppe was definitely very passionate about his vineyard and winery and happy to answer our questions and give us insight into his world. He was a very genuine and very welcoming host who made this tour so special. After looking through the winery we were treated to a tasting. Our group sat at a table with platters of meat, cheese, tomatoes, bread, oil etc, much of which was made by Giuseppe and his family. We all had very generous serves of food and three different bottles of his very good wine. Giuseppe sat with us and although he claimed his English was not good- it was! We learnt so much from him and enjoyed his company. We also enjoyed his excellent wine and food. The half day tour lasted about 3 to 4 hours in total. We were picked up and dropped just near our hotel and transported in a comfortable tourist style van. If you are interested in wine, this is a wonderful tour to take. I highly recommend. Very good value.

          Wine Tour - Excellent!
Really great wine tour, would highly recommend! Francesco was our private tour guide. He was friendly, funny, and very knowledgable about all things Sardinia! We drive around the countryside and had a tour of a local winery. We sat and drank wine and ate local antipasto with the winemaker and Francesco. We felt very well looked after and had an amazing time. Tom

Wine tour in a friendly unhassled manner
This is a laid back tour in a very comfortable tourer van; just 2 families. We went just north of Cagliari to Solèminis to the vineyard of Giuseppe Lecis and his family. A very unhurried and homely affair. And very good wine!

          Weeklong tour in Sardinia
Our group of 18, 17 women and 1 man, spent a week with Francesco touring Sardinia. From our pick-up at the airport with gifts of cookies made by his mom to our drop off a week later, we had a fabulous time. Francesco was attentive to us and passionate about his country. We visited many cities and had fabulous experiences: wine tasting, lunch with the shepards and lunch in the countryside were highlights. Keeping track of 18 individuals is not an easy task and he managed it with a smile at all times. I highly recommend this company. You will not be disappointed.

          Fantastic personalised Wine tour!
We had a great half day experience with Francesco just outside Cagliari. Lots of local knowledge passed on to us, we visited an awesome family run winery and both Francesco and the winery owner made the day insightful, fun, interesting and a pleasure to be around. We got to see behind the scenes where all the grapes were pressed and stored, and we're given a brilliant wine tasting experience onsite with matching local food made by the family. Highly recommended and Francesco was a lovely engaging host. Thank you! Chris and Carina

Our guide Emanuele was amazing! One day we did Barumini and the tour was so amazing we booked Nora for the next day. The knowledge of our guide and his enthusiasm for sharing his knowledge of Sardinia was incredible. We have travelled all over the world and have had many experiences with tour guides, and this was one of the best by far. We would recommend this company without hesitation. Grazie!

My husband and I stopped in Cagliari on a cruise. Looking for things to do, I ran across this tour. I almost cancelled it and I am so glad I did not. It was truly one of the highlights of the cruise. The site was one of my favorite sites on my 2.5 week trip in Europe. You literally get to crawl through 5,000 year old ruins that are extremely well preserved. Our guide was excellent--very knowledgeable and friendly. He even brought us homemade cookies to welcome us to the island. A must see if in Sardinia.
