Alice and Francesco were the most lovely and personable hosts one could ask for. They had a lovely home and shared it with our small group while teaching us how to make the most delicious pastas! Making an authentic meal while in Palermo was a bucket list item for me, and this was the perfect way to achieve it. The food was delicious, the conversation was wonderful, and the hosts were very knowledgeable, but were also just an absolutely charming couple. If you’re looking to learn how to make authentic Sicilian dishes, you must try this. Thank you, Alice and Francesco, for sharing your home and hearts with us!

What a truly special morning cooking with Alice. I enjoyed our chats around family, history, and culture while preparing some wonderful recipes. Our meal was a highlight of my time in Palermo.

Alice and Francesco were amazing hosts! We loved their passion and knowledge for their heritage. They welcomed us with open arms into their lovely home and shared the three generations of family that has lived there. They inspired us to purchase the tools we used with them to be able to take what we learned back home to Indiana. We would highly recommend taking the opportunity to learn with them and get to know them better.

My wife and I had an amazing experience at the cooking class hosted by Gianfranco and his mother Maria. They made us very welcome and taught us so much about making three different kinds of pasta. The wealth of knowledge that Gianfranco had to share was outstanding. Please arrive with room in your stomach for you will not only eat the meal that you helped prepare but a lot of other scrumptious food as well. We were also very impressed with the decorations in the room making it such a lovely environment. This was one of our highlights of our trip to Sicily !

We had the most incredible cooking class with Pina at her beautiful home. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and kindness. Pina is not only lovely but also brimming with culinary knowledge. Throughout the day, she shared her passion for cooking in a way that made us feel both inspired and at ease. Her home is stunning, providing the perfect backdrop for an authentic and intimate cooking experience. The food we prepared was absolutely delicious, and we learned so many techniques and tips that we’ll definitely use in our own kitchens. Spending the day with Pina was such a joy, and we can’t recommend this class enough! If you’re looking for an unforgettable cooking experience, this is it!

Rosa Maria welcomed us into her beautiful home, she was gracious and very friendly. Rosa Maria taught us to make three dishes, fresh Sicilian pasta, eggplant and tiramisu. She also shared many other her other Sicilian cooking techniques as well as the history of the food and region. We sat down to an amazing dinner that Rosa Maria complimented with other antipasti and Sicilian wine. We ate so much! She didn’t rush us through dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our experience with Rosa Maria.

I had the most delicious 4 course dinner prepared by Alice with a little help from me and husband Francesco. It was true Silician Style food cooked to perfection. The hosts made me feel very welcome in their home and we had a delightful night of chit chat, nice wine and even a tasting of Francesco’s Cherry liquor! Can highly recommend this adventure. Alice was a wonderful hostess! She and her husband shared many wonderful cooking tips and Sicilian facts. Her home was warm and welcoming- it was so fun to stand around her table and prepare appetizers! Our meal on the beautiful terrace will always be a great memory of delicious food and wonderful company!

We learnt how to make fresh pasta and Tiramisu from scratch expertly instructed by the beautiful Rosa! Later enjoying the food with two wonderful fellow travellers and Rosa. We had so much fun and a very enjoyable experience. We highly recommend the Pasta & Tiramisu cooking lesson with Rosa.

I completely enjoyed my cannoli making class with Alice. Both she and her partner, Francesco, are so knowledgeable about the science behind the cooking and could not have been lovelier to be around. Making a recipe passed down from Alice's nonna in the very apartment where she grew up made it even more special. She patiently showed me the MANY steps required for making the shells and, in the end, the cannoli were DELICIOUS! The conversation was great and Alice even made me a little package to take home with leftover shells, a small piping bag with the cream and bit of the orange peel and pistachios. In fact, I just ate two of them (the day after the class). I would highly recommend this experience!

While my family stayed on Ustica (an island 20 ish miles away) my son and I took the ferry to Palermo to learn how to make Sicilian pasta and cannoli. Rosa Maria is clearly an accomplished cook, which we learned runs in her family. She is also a talented teacher. When we couldn't quite the the hang of shaping the pasta without crushing it, she was patient but clear in her instructions so I know what to practice when I get home. Sitting down to lunch was lovely. We got to know her husband and Ate Sally. We were sent home with leftovers which was a saving grace when we arrived at the port and learned all ferries had been cancelled till the next morning, standing us in Palermo for the night. In all the chaos that followed, we at least had good food to eat. The next morning as we rode the ferry back to Ustica, I had no regrets. Grazie mille Rosa Maria. And salamat po Ate Sally

The cooking course with Rosaria was great! I felt very comfortable with her right from the start and was well instructed. Rosaria was very respectful, friendly and open and I can recommend the cooking course with her 100%!

We celebrated my husband’s 50th birthday in Sicily and the pasta and tiramisu cooking course was a special birthday experience for my sister’s and my family together. It was a fantastic and unique experience. It completely surpassed our expectations. We learnt a lot and had lots of fun. We had 3 teenagers in the group and four adults, we all really enjoyed it. Rosa Maria was so friendly and welcoming and her Sicilian cookery knowledge made special memories for us. Highly recommend and thank you!

What I thought would be a small group cooking class, turned out to be a one on one class with myself and wonderful hostess, Agata! She was so welcoming, kind and patient with me...I felt right at home and thoroughly enjoyed making my pasta dishes and tiramisu! This was the most heartwarming experience of my trip and I am SO glad I did it. I was able to meet some of her family and witnessing their Sicilian love and appreciation for one another was truly a blessing! 10/10!

We did the three pasta class. The class was one of our whole trip highlights. Alice and Francesco were so kind and generous. Their breadth of knowledge was amazing. We had a wonderful time and strongly recommend this experience to anyone who has fun cooking. We will be taking some new approaches home with us to change our cooking at home.
