Great overall experience. The Winery and the restaurant, Parco Statella, were outstanding. Best of all was our tour guide Antonio, he was extremely knowledgeable and friendly.

Amazing custom made tour for 8 friends through beautiful Sicily! Tour company could not have been more helpful. I knew what I wanted to see and they helped modify the order to make sense, added a few food /culture events, arranged for outstanding guides and drivers, lovely centrally located boutique hotels and checked in daily during the tour to confirm starting times and guide/driver names. Even when there was a flooding situation, this tour company made everything happen seamlessly! Highly recommended!

This was actually an 11 day customized small group tour (2-7 persons). Because it was off season, it was a private tour. Valeria customized this tour via a face call months before. If I was rating this tour on a scale of 1-100 I would rate it a 200. The tour exceeded any and all expectations we had. I thought originally it was a little pricy, but now I will say it was worth every cent. Our driver, Michele, became a personal friend and we will get together when we return. He was knowledgeable, punctual, and a joy to be with. Nothing I can think to say will give the praise he deserves. All the guides were wonderful, as was every excursion. The hotels were great, with the last two, in Taormina and Móndelo, were an example of saving the best for last. The breakfasts in each hotel put breakfasts in the U.S. hotels to shame. The lunches that were included were also excellent. And the island, what can I say about Sicily? Sicily is a magical place where the land meets the sky, the food is delicious, and the people are warm and friendly. We will definitely return in the future and are already talking about our next trip there. I have a fair amount of travel under my belt, but I have never been to a place I loved as much.

We had an incredible 4 day trip ! Starting with the delicious street food tour of Catania with the warm & hospitable Denise. Next, we spent two days with the knowledgeable and insightful Orazio who we hiked Etna with, experienced the exquisite Etna wines, and explored the Godfather villages. Plus, the deeply passionate and inspiring Alfredo who brought to life the essence of Greco-Roman history on our walking tour of the Ancient Teatro Greco of Taormina! Lastly, we finished off our incredible Sicilian trip with the energetic & engaging Antonio exploring the splendid Sicilian cities of Siracusa, Ortigia and Noto to experience the best late baroque architecture Italy/ Sicily has to offer, as well as the filming location of one of the best Tornatore films (Malena) .. It truly felt we were living through a Morricone film score.. Sicily activities was there every step of the booking process to paying attention to all of our needs all the way to our departure! Graziana provided us consistent communication throughout and we will surely be back to utilize their incredible services! If you find yourself in Sicily in the near future, there is no better place to organize the Sicilian trip of a lifetime; full of culture, food, incredible sights and even more incredible people! Our family enjoyed a wonderful, unforgettable customised 12-day private tour with Sicily Activities. Their selection of historical locations, sights, restaurants and hotels were first class. All our guides were passionate, knowledgeable and engaging. They went above and beyond to accommodate the various needs and interests of our family. They were all wonderful and engaging and we are leaving Sicily with many happy memories and knowing this is a place we want to come back to even though it is far from New Zealand. This was a fabulous tour with a total of 8 english speaking adults. Hit the highlights of Sicily and wonderful visits, tours, cooking, markets, and sightseeing....while lots of time on your own for exploring. Massimo and his people were always prompt and friendly and lots of experience to draw on.

Massimo and every guide employed by Sicily Activities were fantastic. The guide changed at each activity on each day, but we saw the guides with other groups all around town and they always checked in to say hello. Every detail was taken care of, starting at Taormina, down to Syracuse, through Agrigento and up to Palermo. We got the perfect vacation in Sicily, seeing all that it had to offer. I couldn't recommend them enough!

We had a wonderful trip to Sicily, and a big part of that was “Sicily Activities small Group Tour.” For each of the eight days in Sicily, we had a different tour and guide. They were all extremely personable and knowledgeable about the sites we were seeing, and of course the history. The daily tours included, Taormina Food&Wine Tour, Godfather vs Mafia Tour, Taormina Walking Tour & Greek Theatre, Mt. Etna Trip & Etna Winery, Noto Walking Tour & Lunch in Marzamemi, Syracuse Walking Tour, Trip to Agrigento, Guided visit of Temple Valley, and Palermo Walking Tour. My group consisted of four people, and the three others who were also on the tour quickly became friends. The hotels were all four stars, and we were driven to the daily tours and different cities in a Mercedes Van, which was very comfortable. All of our meals in Sicily were great, whether included in the tours or on our own. As is always the case, there were a couple of snags, but Massimo from Sicily Activities always made things right. We had a terrific time and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour company to others.

We could not have done this trip on our own! From our airport pick up to our airport drop off every detail was designed for our enjoyment and pleasure. We were taken to all the hidden gems you just wouldn’t know about. The drivers and guides were well organised and very professional. We couldn’t recommend Sicily Activities more highly.

This was a great small group tour which lived up to our expectations. We ended up with a group of six - two couples and two singles. It was different than expected in that we had different guides each day but it worked as each had a passion about what they were showing us and they made it fun and interesting. Thanks to Jerry, Valerie, Orazio and Denise! We also had some local guides in both Syracuse and Palermo so got educated well! It was a wonderful overview of Sicily - the highlights and food/wine. We also had plenty of free time to explore, had a chance to catch up with our new friends made on the tour and had lots of good meals. The transfers were all organised as well so we just had to relax and enjoy the ride! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to get a taste of Sicily.

Our group wanted to pass along our compliments to Sicily Activities who provided the best tour of Sicily at a most reasonable cost! It was a most memorable trip. The Sicily Activity guides are phenomenal! The guides were personable, knowledgeable, helpful and funny! Massimo, the owner of Sicily Activities, has gathered a phenomenal group of guides and coordinators! The communication and coordination by Massimo and his team were excellent. The food and wine were excellent too! I would highly recommend this company for your private tour of Sicily!

Everything was well planned and executed. Nice overview of Sicily. Only complaint is that WiFi at Taormina hotel was virtually useless.

We did not enjoy this tour. The first restaurant was packed and loud. Mediocre seafood and small wine portion. We could not hear the guide at all. The second had tiny portions and was equally hot and loud. The third was just standing and eating cannoli on the street. The people in the group were nice but we didn’t learn one thing from the guide so it was basically pricey appetizers of mediocre to poor quality. We don’t recommend this tour.

Absolutely an amazing adventure! We had a different tour guide each day and we loved them all. Each one brought their love, enthusiasm and knowledge of Sicily to us and each one made us feel as though we were their favorite group ever. We also had time each day to go exploring on our own. All of us agree that this was a unique tour group that went out of their way to make sure we were having a great time and had all we needed.
