Great tour guide and fun wine tastings. Especially the second tasting; the employees there had a lot of information to share & were generous with portions. The views of the 2 small towns and during the bus rides were beautiful. My partner and I got very motion sick during the bus rides though, so I’d recommend taking some sort of anti-nausea medication if you are prone to motion sickness.

Constantino was our tour guide for our all day Tour in Tuscany. He is so very knowledgeable about the history & culture. He is very articulate, and has the perfect blend of historical expertise, humor & provided the perfect amount of info in easily digestible bites.
Highly professional & Constantino made this such an enjoyable & educational day.

Maria gave us an excellent orientation to Siena. I found her presentation so interesting & very well presented. Bravo ! And thank you!

Very much appreciated both expert tour guides. CAF is very fortunate to have Constantino & Maria on board as they very positively represent CAF, Florence & Siena.

Our original tour was cancelled due to below minimum clients so CAF tours right away contacted us about the situation and suggested this tour. We were so thankful for their promptness and had a great experience! First and foremost, our guide/driver Guido was amazing, courteous and a wealth of knowledge - history of Florence and Chianti! He took his time driving to certain locations in Florence with background info before embarking to Chianti. We went to two wineries that truly hold on their roots and passion to wine making. The winders staff from both were welcoming and had as much as fun as we did! Highly suggest this tour!

Our tour guide, Laura, was excellent. She was engaging and very personable. She knew her regional history and skillfully imparted information to us. The wineries selected were excellent and our hosts were great. The bus driver had the most excellent driving skills! He too was personable and engaging.

A Job Well Done!

Really enjoyed going to the wineries and the tour guide was really informative about Tuscany and the grape and storage. We tried 3 wines at each of the wineries we went to with some food to which kept us happy. For the price and value we got we would recommend to others. Had a great time. The only feedback I would give is that it would be good to learn more about the process from the vineyard itself.

The 1st vineyard, Tenuta Riseccoli, was only okay, good to see the processing of the grapes given it was harvest time, enthusiastic guide but the wine tasting at the end could have been more in depth. Although good wines. The stop in Greve didn't add much - just enough time to have a quick look in the shops and grab an ice cream but that's all that seemed on offer anyway. The 2nd vineyard, Poggio Amorelli, was cracking! Really knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide, good detail about the vineyard and winemaking process. Then talked through each wine, how to taste wine, tasting notes, recipes and pairings. Seemed to have more time at the 2nd vineyard to relax and enjoy the experience. The final stop in Castellina was much more picturesque and bustling than Greve - it would have been better to spend more time here and drop the Greve stop. All together worth a great experience but would have been better to allocate more time to the 1st vineyard and not stop in Greve.

The plan was to visit 4 places in Chianti, 2 of which were wineries. The wine tasting was really fun. We tasted delicious wines, paired with Tuscan olive oil, salami, pecorino and balsamic vinegar. We visited Greve and Castellina, both really beautiful places. Our guide was super informative and funny too. She gave us a short and sweet explanation about anything she thought we ought to know. Definitely would recommend!

Only 7 people and the tour was by Van. The driver guided us during the drive but no guide joined us at our stop in Castellina.
Professional presentations at the wineries. Especially at Poggio Amorreli with Andrea where we were treated with Spumante, one white and two red Chianti and one supertuscan. We also got bread, cheese, salami with their own balsamic vinegar and olive oil. The driver called for a taxi upon arrival in Florence 👍

Lucca drove us from Florence to Sienna to the Lornano winery. It was a lovely drive and the young woman winery guide spoke excellent English. We had a walk through the wine cellar and explanation of the wine making process.
The winery grounds were picturesque in the clear fall weather. Our tasting was informative and fun. Her knowledge and sense of humor made it all enjoyable. No pressure to purchase but with very reasonable shipping rates we did.
After the tasting Lucca made some photo op stops in a vast vineyard area. He also took us to a castle and ancient church. He returned us to the city center of Florence which was quite helpful! We rode a comfortable air conditioned van for 8.

I visited many countries and I did very superior tours/tastings with less people . That one it’s more like a shopping tour. The places you visit on this trip are scenic but for me, not worth it as wine tasting. Why:
1. The quantity of people, it’s a whole bus, 60 persons. So that is’t difficult for manage for one tour guide at time and complicated for the vineyard.
2. We visited 2 vineyards, rest of stops are for down and shop.
3. First vineyard was just pathetic. First tasting, a white wine, one bottle for 60 pers, yes, a 750mm bottle. Then left tasting they used two bottles or less. Pairing... ridiculous too: 1x1x1cm of cheese and salami.
4. Second vineyard a bit better, but the same.
5. Both vineyards doesn’t give an option of repeat some wine, so if you want to buy, may be you need to taste it again. But no, that is what a smart merchant does, because want you to return and recommend his place. And this is something I will never do.
