    Excellent!
I would recommend booking this tour! We wanted to climb the dome and it was a perfect way to do that with no waiting, learn more about the history, and get additional information on things to do/see in Florence.

Visit to the duomo with guid , skip the line
Bryan was great, he was very knowledgeable. The tour was skip the line so entrance was not a problem , easy to find the meeting place with google maps and very close to the Duomo . I will certainly book with them again .

Can’t believe they let us up here!
Fantastic behind-the-scenes tour of the Duomo. Skipping the line deformity worth it and felt like getting away with something. Elena, our tour guide was energetic, knowledgeable, and friendly. We’d definitely recommend this tour to our friends.

Fantastic tour that will bring you out of the city centre!
The "E-Scooter: Panoramic tour of Florence" was a highlight of my weekend trip to Florence. My two friends and I were treated to essentially a private tour of the city's streets and famous spots, culminating in a guided tour to the top of a hill overlooking the entire city and surrounding areas. The highlight was definitely seeing the Basilica, the 4th largest in the world, from this vantage point - a sight that truly took our breath away. Lasting around 2 hours, the tour included several stops where we had free time to explore on our own. The scooters were well-maintained and provided a fun and efficient way to navigate the city. Our guide, Brian, was fantastic. He was friendly, spoke great English, and knew all the best spots to visit. He made sure to check in on us throughout the tour, ensuring that we were having a great time. Overall, this tour is a must-do if you're in Florence for the weekend. It offers a unique perspective of the city and is well worth the money. I highly recommend it.

Viola was a wonderful tour guide. We loved her review of the Duomo museum and the climb to the Duomo. She was knowledgeable and easy to follow.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave great insights along the tour. Must do in Florence. If we book another tour during our stay we'll be going with this company.

Very physical tour but well worth it!
Our guides, Francessa (the one pictured in the promo photo) was amazing! She was very knowledgeable and fun. We had a relatively small group, about 12, and it was perfect. The hearing devices worked well and were a great way to hear what she was saying in the throng of people. The stairs are daunting (450+ if I remember right) so be ready to be out of breath but our guides broke it up so it's not all at one time but that view at the top...that makes all the soreness worth it, don't miss this one!!

Great views and a chance to see the masterpiece close up.
This tour s really worth doing, you start in the museum, which was informative and interesting. You will be given a history on the building and the changes made while the Duomo was under construction. The Duomo tour is so worthwhile, we were well guided and looked after. There are some long climbs, there are spots to rest, but you need to be reasonably fit. The views are fantastic and the skip the line can save you an hour of waiting. Keeps the ticket as this gives you 72 hours free admission to the Baptistry and Giotto’s bell tower, which are both worth visiting. If you want to discover the Duomo I highly recommend this tour.

    Rooftop Terrace View!
Not every tour takes you on the rooftop terraces to view the Duomo up close but THIS ONE DOES. This was the reason why I booked the tour and it was amazing. As we were on the rooftop, people from the bell tower (about 20ft from us) were yelling what tour we were on because we were on the terrace. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and did a great job. I would highly recommend booking this tour as you not only get to climb the Duomo but get to view it up close from the terrace.

    Dome with Guido
We spent the morning with Guido on our tour, who brought so much knowledge and perspective to our tour! His sensitivity to our needs was plainly evident as he made sure we were comfortable in climbing the dome and made it OK for those who didn't want to. Very thoughtful and knowledgeable, wonderful guide!!!

    Brian was incredible!
We had a great time with Brian! We were the only ones in the group, and so he spent time focusing a bit more on our interests. He shared his sommelier knowledge with us at the wine tasting shop and even shared the best places for shopping and dining. We were able to spend a wonderful evening with a specialist in the area!

The climb is pretty challenging - but fantastic views from the top.
We toured the Florence Duomo, its Baptistery and the Opera del Duomo Museum. We had the opportunity to walk up the inside of Brunelleschi’s Dome (463 stone, corkscrew steps) …. which was good but I must admit, we found it very hard work.

Very dishonest. We were scheduled for this tour on June 14, but due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to cancel. On all their advertisements and confirmation emails it clearly states that the tour is refundable if given 24 hours notice. We canceled well before 24 hours. I've tried calling several times, but it is nearly impossible to get a live person on the line. Finally, we were told that refunds may take 7-10 days, but our refund had been approved. But because we booked through the 3rd party vendor - Viatortripadvisor US, and not through them, they have no control over refunds. It's been over two weeks, and still no refund.

Hi Frank, I'm sorry you couldn't join the tour with us and see for yourself why we have so many 5 star reviews. But just so it's clear for anyone reading this I'll point out the sequence of events: 1. You booked a tour with us through Viator. 2. You couldn't make the tour and contacted us for a refund. 3. We told you "no problem" but we reminded you that you didn't book the tour directly with us so we don't have your funds. 4. You asked for a refund from Viator. 5. You refund from Viator is taking too long. 6. You are angry with us! We have never received any of your money, if you had booked directly with us you would have your money back by now. I'm sorry that you are confusing the tour operator (us) with the tour reseller (Viator) but I hope anyone else can understand why it is totally unfair to direct your wild accusations of dishonesty towards us. We are 100% committed to exceeding the expectations of our customers, but unfortunately we are unable to take any responsibility for the systems and processes of our partners and resellers.

Compared to other food tours, this experience gave us a miniature experience and sample of food in Florence. Much of it could have been self-guided given the level of engagement of our guide. She was OK. She appeared tired. We had hoped for more historical understanding of the food, more interesting facts about the region, and more stories about the neighborhoods and buildings we were around which is why we participated. I also would have appreciated being REMINDED to bring my own water, have it SOLD at the meeting point Fat Tire office, or POINTED TO water fountains during the tour, because 1) it was a heatwave 2) there wasn’t water after each tasting.

Regarding the sampling, it was a snapshot, which is the purpose of these tours. However, it was more sweet than it was savory. There could be more balance. The amount of food sampling provided was far less than other tours I have experienced.

The only majorly interesting part was at the market place with the specialists of the oil and truffle shop. This was what they normally do, and not the guide herself. This was the most thorough and educational part of the experience that gave us insight about the world truffles a olive oil, and quality control. This we could have done ourselves without Fat Tire.

Given past positive experiences with Fat Tire Bike tours in other cities, this was a bit disappointing as it did not hold up to the quality of it’s past products.

We all loved Veronica and our evening small group Food Walking Tour! It felt as though we were all friends by the end. Veronica (with Fat Tire Bike Tours) was so knowledgeable, sweet and down to earth. It felt as though we had been invited into an Italian family at every restaurant we stopped by. Highly recommend!

This is one tour your most whiny teenager will love! My family of four did the morning tour with Marzia and a handful of fellow hungry people and effectively got breakfast and lunch along with interesting tidbits about Florence history and its food. Marzia is not only knowledgeable but delivers her info in bite-sized morsels for all ages to stay engaged. And the FOOD! I was really surprised how much we ate (and drank!) and it was delicious! Coffee, pastry, truffle sandwiches, wine, cheese, aged vinegar, fried pizza, pasta, and of course Gelato were among our favorites. This tour is worth every dime plus a nice tip for Marzia! Buon appetito!

The variety and quality of foods we tasted were very good and the places we visited each had an appealing ambiance, each with its own personality. The guide was charming and knowledgeable, but seemed to lose interest and focus about halfway through the tour and pretty much relied on us for conversation rather than continue with an informative dialog. My husband and I were the only two touring, so perhaps he was bored, though we did attempt to perpetuate the conversation and ask questions regarding Italian food and dining.
All in all a good tour, but certainly not an outstanding one when compared to others we’ve done elsewhere, including a recent one in Venice.

Ciao! We are sorry that the guide was not as engaged in the second half of the tour. When it comes to Florentine food, traditions and culture there is a lot to discuss, so there is really no excuse not to pass on that knowledge throughout the tour. Thank you for the honest feedback, it only helps us to improve!

Federica with Fat Tire Tours is amazing! She very graciously helped me make a change in my itinerary/tour, and did everything possible to work out the details, (even though she could easily have said I was past the deadline for changes and there was nothing to be done…)
But she happily and efficiently came up with a fantastic solution to my problem, for which I am so very grateful!!
The world could use more of this kind of OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

First of all Marzia was the best tour guide we’ve met. Not only did she deliver all the great foods and drinks she was so fun and friendly! I’d do this tour any day! In addition she suggested the greatest artesian at Furo’ e punteruolo where I found a beautiful purse. Not one made in a factory in Italy but made by the gentleman right there! Grazie, Marzia!

We weren't sure what to expect of this tour, but absolutely loved it. Our tour guide, Cristina, was friendly and knowledgeable. She taught us a lot about different Italian foods in Florence and showed us shops and restaurants we never would have discovered on our own. We tried a variety of different foods and ended with some of our favorite gelato during the trip.

We have had the private food Tour and it realy was amazing. We have visited a lot of typical food hot spots and not only that, we got an impression of what eating means for the locals. The Italiens are proud of their food and they can be!

Guido was a fantastic guide and made us a great day. He give us a lot of informations and good tips for the rest of our holiday. Thank you a lot for the Trip and the valuable memories.
