Taste of Chianti: Tuscan Cheese, Wine and Lunch from Florence
From US$172.47

Gain in-depth knowledge about Tuscany's cuisine, winemaking, and history on this full-day tour from Florence. With transportation provided, you can listen to your guide's commentary and enjoy the scenery while you travel through the Tuscan countryside in a 4x4 vehicle. The off-road transportation gives you access to a Chianti cellar, a historic villa, and a wine estate. A 3-course traditional Italian meal is included.

What to Expect
Meet your air-conditioned, 4x4 minibus in central Florence. As you ride, enjoy watching the city landscape melt into rolling hills of vineyards and olive groves while your guide takes care of the navigation.

Stop at a winery owned by a prominent Italian family to taste a selection of carefully curated wine, cheese, and olive oil. You’ll also get a guided tour of the cellars to learn how wine and olive oil are made.

At a nearby Tuscan restaurant, dig into a 3-course meal, including regional specialties paired with two glasses of Chianti.

Move on to Greve in Chianti to pick up salumi from a butcher, which you’ll enjoy as a snack at your next stop, an award-winning winery. There, you’ll learn about and taste Chianti Classico.

Relax on your ride back to Florence, knowing your designated driver will transport you safely.
