The best part of our trip was our tour guide Marco! He really made this trip a real experience! Marco was extremely knowledgeable and shared interesting details that kept our attention throughout the whole trip. One can really see that he loves what he does and puts his heart in it! He was very friendly and kind. I am a vegetarian and he made sure I was served a vegetarian lunch which was very thoughtful and highly appreciated.

We booked the trip with a visit of the Cathedral in Siena and it was absolutely worth it as it’s beautiful inside 🤩

Also, I would recommend booking lunch with wine tasting as we tasted olive oil, truffle oil and balsamic vinegar as well, which were delicious. And the homemade pasta was so tasty! We didn’t have high expectations but we were pleasantly surprised by the winery and the staff! I wouldn’t recommend bringing kids to the wine tasting as they were so noisy, it felt disrespectful for the winery tour guide and it was also frustrating for the rest of us.

The time spent in each town was just enough for a one-day trip!

THe tour was well organized and well run!
It was so cool to see the medieval towns in Tuscany!
It is certainly a must to see sienna, San Giordano and Pisa when in Florence.
We are certainly glad we did.
The cathedral tour in sienna was amazing - definitely recommend getting the guide to explain the amazing art inside - Michelangelo statues included.

My husband and I had a fantastic day trip with Elizabeth (Elizabetta?). Whilst being hugely knowledge about the area, she was also incredibly entertaining!

The scenery throughout is absolutely gorgeous, San Gimignano was a particular highlight of the day! We both very much enjoyed the trip to the vineyard and the delicious lunch. This is advertised as a three course meal, however the final course was only biscotti which I wouldn’t usually consider a whole course.

This is no fault of the organisers at all as the itinerary was very well organised, but due to a few other tourists being unable to stick to time, subsequent parts of the trip felt a little rushed. I think it important to be aware you may be on the tour with 70 other people and a small minority may act in their own interests throughout the day impacting the rest of the group. If you do book this trip, please be mindful of everyone and be on time for each departure!

I would highly recommend the day trip for anyone staying in Florence longer than 2-3 days and looking to see more of Tuscany.

If you are looking for transportation to these locations and then pretty much want to be on your own, perhaps this tour is for you. The professional guide in Siena was informative and enjoyable. The lunch and "wine/oil presentation" was enjoyable and entertaining. The "host" (I hesitate to call her a guide) throughout the entire journey offered little value. When she spoke, she was flat, boring and imparted little information of value. She also showed very little concern for making sure that local covid regulations were adhered to by the passengers, adding discomfort to disappointment. Outside of the visit to Siena, this was little more than transportation to the additional locations. Not worth the money.

It was amazing tour of the Tuscany with a wonderful meal and wine tasting. What else we could ask for.
Marco and Antonieta or tour guides were truly amazing, great communication and they went above and beyond by making sure everyone in the tour was doing fine and it was a full bus of people. They even waited until all travels had a taxi to go to their hotel, they even call the taxis for all of us - truly great customer service by going above and beyond something that was not part of their job, they made our experience so enjoyable with full of important information, they had great communication and well organized tour.
On top of the service you get to visit Siena, a winery with wine tasting, San Gimignano and Pissa in one day, it is so well organized that we had enough time to enjoy every single place we visited.
You won’t regret this trip, keep in mind there some walking though so got to be open to so some walking.

We started our tour at 7.45 in the morning from the piazzale montelungo in Florence. The tour escort marco was waiting to check our vaccination documents and tickets and soon after we boarded a double decker bus with approximately 60 persons as a group. The tour leader Elisabetta(or Elizabeth in English like the queen) provided brief explanations about the places we visited in spanish, English and french, as she was well accompanied by her assistant and treinee marco.Overall the tour is a great chance to see major sites in tuscany the only bad thing is that the bus was always parked in parking areas too long from the visiting points making us walk like a mile to get back every time.Overall i recommend this tour the guides are pros and it covers all you need to see in a day.A highlight in this tour is the wine tasting at the winery where you have lunch and before booking make sure you bring nice walking sneakers with you.Thank you a lot elizabetta and marco

Overall, the tour was lovely except for the winery they chose where you have your lunch and wine tasting. Tuscany is full of beautiful wineries, but they chose a roadside building that looks like a cement box. I understand it may be challenging to find a charming winery that can accommodate a large group but it's certainly very do-able. Anyways, you eat a mediocre lunch at the winery while the winery employee yells at you for an hour to buy their wine, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. The sales pitch is aggressive and completely ruins your meal because you literally do not get a single minute of quiet or peace to just relax. Literally, this man is yelling about the stuff he wants you to buy the ENTIRE meal. This portion of the trip ruined the experience for me.
It's better to just rent a car for the day and do the day trip yourself and visit some quality wineries!

This trip was hands down worth every penny. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, and seemed to be happily enjoying themselves as well, which made the experience so much brighter. They were great at keeping everyone on time and together and translating in 3 languages!

I opted for the guided tour and we were touted around the first city (Siena) and given a radio to listen in to our English speaking guide as she walked around describing various places of interest, and she was with us when we went into a chapel as well. We had a short time to mill around town before meeting back and heading out.

I really enjoyed the winery that was chosen as their wine was super duper tasty. The food was on the lower end of great but again, the WINE.

The drives to Pisa and back home were long and that was time to catch up on napping.

Overall, would highly recommend. However, I do warn that you don't get very much time in Siena and Pisa (approx. 45 minutes each). Enough time for light exploring and pictures but not much else. Even with that short timeline it was still around an 11 hour or so day.

The guided tour was pretty good! We enjoyed ourselves for the most part,
The good to great
The guides and driver were awesome. I enjoyed them all, their patience with 60 people and their ability to keep us on time. They gave their names 10 times, I just can’t remember the now. Sorry folks.
Siena was absolutely beautiful and such an amazing place to visit! Our local guide to the city was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. I look forward to coming back here some day! Pisa (the leaning tower and cathedral) was very nice too . We just wish we had more time in these places to view the beautiful art..

The meh to not so good
First, San Gimignano could just be left off the tour. It felt like a gelato stop (with a lot of walking).
Second, although lunch was included, one of the wines served with lunch tasted a bit off. Otherwise the food was meh (that means it was ok to eat but not the best Italy could offer). Understanding they were serving +60 people all at once.
Third, because of the San Gimignano stop, we felt very rushed in Siena and Pisa.
Fourth the lavatory on the bus was out of order and a little kid had to use it and he was told to wait.
Fifth, The city of Pisa itself seemed pretty ghetto.

All in all I’d give this tour a 4 of 5 stars.

Elisabetta is THE BEST guide you could get, she's called the queen for a reason! She really knows what she's talking about with many many years of experience. She suggested where to buy coffee and snacks as well as where to visit during our free time! Not only did she give us a tour in English but she was simultaneously explaining the tour in French as well (she speaks Italian, English, French, and Spanish). Elisabetta and Sara were so helpful and well organized. Next time I'm in Italy I'll definitely be booking more tours with her!!

Grazie mille Elisabetta <3
