What to Expect
Your Florence tour begins when you board the hop-on, hop-off bus. Board at any of the stops around the city.

Buses for the city tour depart every 30 minutes from each stop, with roughly one-hour itineraries. The buses follow a 10-mile (16-kilometer) route that snakes through the city with 18 stops, from Santa Maria Novella station to Barbetti.

The buses for the Fiesole tour depart every 60 minutes from each stop and follow a roughly 2-hour itinerary. Visit the Etruscan city on a hill a short distance from Florence. Upon arrival, enjoy panoramic views, visit churches and museums, and take short hikes around the area.

Nice overview of the places you wouldn't want to walk

I got to Florence without a plan, and thought that the Hop-on Hop-off tour would give me a nice overview of the city. It ends up that the center of town is all (or at least mostly) pedestrian-only, so the bus really takes people around...More

beware the last bus of the day

we were on the last bus of the day, the bus was twenty-five minutes late to our stop and didn't make up any time. The traffic was nutz, but the driver still shouldn't be road rage-ing with pedestrians. Anyhooo... when we were on the recorded...More

Do not get off at Fisole on the blue route

The bus tour guide tells you that the bus will wait for 20 minutes at Fisole when it stops at the village and then drives off straight away and leaves you behind so be warned! We were left behind and had to catch the last...More

Great value and good way to see the sights

I believe that the short line (inside Florence) is every 30 minutes and the long line (outside of Florence) is every hour. We went in September so I would check the hours during the summer. They may be different.

you need to catch a bus to the train staion then it is approx 1hr 20 into Florence
