About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Sightsee4251970 contributionsBeautiful bike ride and lunch! Our bike tour was the highlight of our trip! We loved trying out e-bikes, the scenery and the farm were all great! We didn’t know what to expect at the “farm” for lunch and it was a beautiful setting with a fantastic lunch, wine and an interesting tour of the farm.Written 30 December 2024
- Cec5550 contributionsEasy scenic rideA scenic easy ride above Tuscany-beautiful scenery of the countryside and Firenze with a very knowledgeable, interesting and caring guide in Gabriele. Includes a Delicious bread and olive oil tastingWritten 1 December 2024
- Will M0 contributionsAll-time cool experienceOne of the coolest things I’ve ever done. The two-day bike trip from Florence to Sienna was truly an adventure through beautiful wine country of Tuscany. But not only that, our guide Ale provided tons of context about the area to really help us understand it and enjoy it. They planned an amazing route that I could not have dreamed of if I tried. They also sought our input for potential tweaks to the trip that allowed us for some cool moments. We added e-bikes to our trip which allowed us to choose how strenuous we wanted the trip to be. The wine, olive oil, and food tasting at La Pia was a particular highlight, and WeLikeTuscany’s connection with the winery made it special. Everything we had to eat through the trip was incredible. The place they had us stay overnight was one of the coolest places I’ve ever been, a beautiful villa on top of a hill surrounded by Chianti wine country, serving excellent wine and food thanks to Poggio Al Sole. I can’t overstate the impact Ale had on the trip. Not only was he extremely knowledable, but also fun and friendly, making riding around with him an awesome experience. I would recommended WeLikeTuscany to anyone. It will provide you with one of the most amazing, beautiful, unique, and enriching experiences of your life.Written 18 November 2024
- B7128LSlindsayb0 contributionsGreat experience! This was a fantastic tour! Our guide, Ale, was terrific, very knowledgeable, funny and kind. The places he took us were gorgeous and the lunch at the convent was a real high point. Will definitely book another trip with your company!Written 7 November 2024
- Freedom369697507810 contributionsGreat afternoon in ChiantiThis was our favourite tour in Florence. The Fiat 500 was so cute. Our tour guide Alesander took us to some sites on the way to Chianti and we had a great afternoon learning about olive oil and wine making, followed by olive oil tasting and a relaxing lunch. Highly recommend for a fun afternoon out of the city and great company.Written 6 November 2024
- 649willr0 contributionsNot to miss!We had a lovely time on the half day tour. Our guide Claudio was brilliant. He had so much knowledge about the City and it's history and was very passionate about it. The views were spectacular. It was a lovely way to spend a morning getting to know the City and surrounding areas.Written 31 October 2024
- DIANE B0 contributionsWe Love Tuscan’s self-guided bike rental and wine tasting !The bikes were in great condition, and the e-bike was perfect for those hills. The scenery was breathtaking, and the customer service was top-notch. The predefined itinerary on Maps.me was easy to follow and made our trip even more enjoyable. And the wine and food tasting at Torre Bianca winery was a must-do! Highly recommend it!Written 29 October 2024
- Carsteeves0 contributionsActive full day tour of Tuscany hillsWe had a great time on our full day bike tour around the Tuscany hills with our guide Toto! We had a small group of 6 and we all had e-bikes which helped make the ride an easier on the hills. My husband and I are active bikers back home but aren’t used to hills and glad we opted to for the e-bike to turn on when needed it. You do bike on shared roads with cars but most of the time once you get out of the city the quieter roads our guide took us on had fewer cars. The views were spectacular and we loved hearing about the wine making process and history from our guide. His story telling was engaging and felt like we actually learned some interesting bits of history along the way. The food and wine at the winery for lunch was great! More food than we thought would be served. The trip back down the hills was enjoyable as Toto took us another way so we could see more of the hillside wineries and surrounding nature and important buildings. This tour was the highlight of our week long trip to Tuscany!Written 27 October 2024
- chriswK1217HB0 contributionsChoose this tour! Ten Stars!!!!!!!!Where to begin. Stefano a.k.a. Nino is a true grip to his tour. The fact that he drove us around Tuscany in a 1971 Fiat named Brontolina, scored high points too. Nino filled our minds and hearts and bellies with joy and love for this land he treasures so much. A tour is just a tour yet the guide makes it. Nino, our new friend, with a big huge heart, this tour was made fabulous because of you. Ask for Stefano, a.k.a. Nino, you won’t be disappointed. Why this tour, you could still go on the big or other small tours, yet this one takes you to the small wineries, the towns and sites fewer pass and truly the most spectauclar views. No highways just beautiful people delicious food and beverage, with views shared by Nino, is worth its weight and gold. I will add the winery we stopped at Luiano‘s was splendid. It was not just a wine food pairing event. It was personalized with charming passion with what they produce. We ordered 12 bottles to ship to the USA. Choose this tour and ask for Stefano. We promise you will have a great time. Grazie Mille, the Willis is from Arizona.Written 24 October 2024
- starphi20 contributionsIncredible! We did the two day bike from Florence to Siena. I booked it because we hadn’t been to Tuscany and wanted to see some countryside outside the cities, some friends had done a 12 hour van tour but that’s not really our style. I stumbled upon this company and this trip and listened to reviews and booked it. SO HAPPY I DID! Just an amazing way to see the countryside; the guiding is top-notch and they take care of everything from portaging luggage to delicious food and wine. Alessandro was so perfect- great knowledge of the area and biking but also just lots of fun. They’ll tailor the trip to the needs of the group and the weather or season. Our night in the villa outside a tiny Tuscan town was not too fancy but just spectacular. Tuscany is hilly and steep, we are bikers but chose e-bikes and it was really the way to go- still getting good exercise but way faster and frankly just more fun on vacation! If you’re not really a biker an ebike would be a great way to try it too as your guide will be so helpful and the assist is very useful in the hills. Hundreds of happy reviews are not wrong here, it was most definitely a highlight of our trip to Italy and you should book it!Written 19 October 2024
- erikmJ810AN0 contributionsAmazing tourWe very much enjoyed our tour. Our guides Alė and Gabriele were very knowledgeable about the area and the history thereof. The tour itself was beautiful with some sweeping views of the Tuscan hills and Florence.Written 6 October 2024
- 322garretl0 contributionsTuscany winery and olive oil.Had a great experience! We couldn’t do e-bikes because of the rain but still had an amazing time. Our tour guide Jacopo Dri was so fun and knowledgeable. He was an amazing guide. He had to deal with a broken chain and had to ride it back. Highly recommend doing this tour. The olive oil and winery was amazing and beautiful. It also tasted amazing. Great experience.Written 1 October 2024
- 825jennifers8250 contributions10 out of 5 stars!!! Exceeded our expectations!!This experience would be a 10 out of 5 stars!!! Our guide Jacopo was wonderful: patient, helpful, funny, kind, safety conscious and great history and story telling! He was a pleasure to spend the day with and took care of our every need! The bike ride was as described thru the Tuscan countryside leaving out of Florence, bikes were comfortable and functional for the terrain and options for E bikes available if desired! The ride was so beautiful and allowed several stops for rest and story telling on the way up! The farm visit with wine and olive oil tastings was absolutely amazing, the Owners Joe and Marta provided a tour of their grounds and history developing the site, a heavenly setting for organic farm fresh lunch and tastings! It was a wish come true for our 50th birthday celebration and exceeded our expectations beyond what we could have dreamed!! The passion, hospitality, kindness and genuine love of life they exude are a testament to their dedication! We highly recommend this tour as the highlight of your stay in Italy! We had the best day ever…… 🇮🇹 ❤️ 🍷 🫒 🚴Written 29 September 2024
- annierP9875YR0 contributions10/10 recommend! This was a wonderful experience! Highly recommend! Jacapo, our guide was amazing! He spoke excellent English, gave insightful, meaningful points of the history of the area along the way. We stopped at La Pia winery. Martha, the owner, was a gem. The food and wine were delicious. It was the perfect amount of biking and touring. The bikes were high quality and easy to ride. A highlight of the trip.Written 24 September 2024

We enjoyed a fabulous tour around the outskirts of Florence with our excellent driver and guide, Gabriele. He was so interesting and informative and great company sharing bread, olive oil and wine 🍷 at a local restaurant. We were taken to some fantastic and exclusive panoramic view points even dodging some impromptu roadworks along the way. A cracking experience and highly recommended.

I booked the tour one evening before the trip, so a very short term action. But still Ambra tried to arrange a private driver and adapt the tour to my expectations.
Our driver and guide was Stefano, a very friendly, courteous and above all sociable and lifelike person. He not only told us interesting facts about Florence and its history, but also gave us tips for the rest of the evening.
Many thanks to everyone involved for the memorable experience. I can only recommend the tour!

My wife and I took this tour in the afternoon and we were blown away by the Tuscan countryside. The Florence suburbs and their accompanying views are like out of a movie set. Our guide Stefano was amazing and made our tour extra special. He is a great photographer as well. (Evidence below) We ended up taking him to apperitivo and dinner afterwards and had a truly memorable time learning of the Florentine culture. Thank you Stefano for everything!

We chose the afternoon trip to include a fab gelato in a pretty town high in the Tuscan countryside. The car was an experience but so much fun driving through the little Italian roads taking in the scenery. A great fun time and highly recommend it.... Icing on the cake was driving through Florence like a film star tooting the horn!!
Michalengo our guide was highly knowledgeable and even recommended a couple of great little wine bars too.

Came to Florence on a long weekend trip as gift for my birthday. Went on a morning fiat 500 tour with our guide Bill and really enjoyed it. Really nice route, exactly as id always thought driving a vintage car in Italy would be. Had a few stops on the way to take in the views and listen to some interesting facts about the car and region. Stopped in a small town for a breakfast of coffee and pastry, also got to try local olive oil which was lovely. So in all we really enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend it. It ticked every box when it comes to my thoughts on Italy.

Definitely something fun to do while in Florence!
I was greeted by Andrea, I believe one of the owners, who was so friendly. We had a great chat while the earlier tour concluded.
Calin was my amazing driver, a master navigator, not only of the roads - but also of the 1960’s gear stick of the classic, vintage, navy blue Fiat 500 that we were driving! He was so knowledgeable about Florentine history and the places we visited and he loves his cars!!
We toured the Tuscan countryside just to the south of Florence - areas which you just wouldn’t see without a car. Our tour started with Villa Medicea del Poggio Imperiale - a UNESCO World Heritage site - and concluded at the Basilica de San Miniato al Monte - one of the most scenic churches in Italy! I’m not a religious person, but this experience was pretty spectacular, not to mention the picturesque views of Florence from the terrace.
We ended the tour with a wine overlooking the countryside and I learned about the many variants of olive trees and the making of olive oil!
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and would absolutely do it again! Thank you Calin and Andrea for a great afternoon!

I made a spontaneous booking after seeing a clip on youtube and was not disappointed! We were in Florence for a few days to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and wanted something different for our first day. We both love driving and especially Fiats so the short 2.5 hour tour in the iconic Fiat 500 'Cinquecento' (sunroof down!) was perfect. Our guides, Consuelo and Monty were super, with practical instructions for driving 'treat them like an older lady', in one and we followed in another, both 500R from the early 1960's.
We started by driving up to the Michaelangelo viewpoint, then up and over out of the city into the gorgeous Tuscan countryside. We stopped several times to admire the gorgeous views, for some local history and a welcome gelato in a small village square. As a bonus we finished the tour with a brief drive through Florence itself, onlookers taking photos as we tooted the little horn ;-)
I'd thoroughly recommend this romantic little trip. The organisation was perfect, our guides superb. It would obviously suit fans of Italian cars but could be a stretch if you're only used to automatics.
The experience was super, we'd go again but it did make me wonder if our modern high-tech cars have lost a little of the magic of motoring?
