In one day, we were able to visit more of Italy than any other bus or group tour could possibly offer. That's what justified the price. The small private car can move 40% faster and fit in 100% smaller roads than any bus or shuttle could.

Examples:
No round trip 30 minutes walk up to pisa from the bus parking lots
Can drive right up to major points and pick you up anywhere
Can drive on any road, comfortably

You'll find no bus or group tour that can cover:
Pisa
Sienna
A Winery
San Gimignano
Monteriggioni
... In a single day.

The private experience also offers not feeling like cattle being sheparded around by loud speaker. Our driver Placido, took us anywhere and gave us as much time as we wanted at every location. Additionally, Placido is educated in Italian history. He offered tons of great stories to tell us along the way.

If you're looking for a day trip from Florence, this is the one. Thanks Placido for the forever memories!

This was so great! We absolutely loved our time to take a day and see Pisa, Siena, San Gimignano and more! My wife and I are not wine drinkers but it didn't matter at all because our tour guide (Placido) tailored everything to us and what we wanted to do and see. He was a blast, very knowledgable and made for great company! We feel like we have a new friend in him now and was absolutely the BEST! Beautiful landscapes to see, towns and villages to visit and explore. What a wonderful experience!

This was one of two private tours we did with Ciao Florence recently. Very comfortable with a great car and driver. The driver pointed out salient facts about the areas we were passing through and parked in very convenient spots. Also recommended a good restaurant for lunch. Much better than renting a car and doing this by ourselves - this way, we could relax and enjoy the spectacular scenery and have the flexibility of a private car, without the hassles of finding parking etc.

The tour of Florence was great, a private tour is better in my opinion as you can stop at the places you want to see longer or you can ask to stop somewhere on the way to see something that peaked your interest as you are not tied to a large group

Christian Nuti was by far the most personable, knowledgeable, helpful, entertaining, friendly and coolest guide ever! He made our tour so enjoyable with personal touches. He would give us all the options but also add his recommendations for us! Definitely recommend this tour. It was fun and relaxing even without the weather cooperating (rain, rain and more rain). There is a lot to do and we had the time to do it without feeling rushed.

During the four days of trips with Elvis the service was superior!
He was always on time with tidy and clean car with cold water bottles.
Driving was excellent and safe.
He was polite, knowledgeable, speaking Fluent English and giving good advices where to go and how best to use our time.
It was please to do our trips him driving

Amazing Guide...Too many stops

Brando was an incredibly knowledgeable, personable and passionate guide! He was really approachable and gave us some really solid restaurant recommendations in Florence. I could've skipped Pisa and had more time in San Gimignano which was gorgeous. I would suggest not as many stops. The lunch stop was incredible!!

This was a great day trip! We went to Siena, with much to see there. On to a winery to have lunch and taste wines-both great! Then on to Pisa to see that famous leaning tower. A great day! The tour company was Walk About Florence-great tour guide.
