About
Six heroes, a green car and the monuments of the cradle of the Renaissance: a unique experience that combines the passion for action films and the beauty of one of the most famous cities in the world for its history.
WITH OUR MINICAR WE WILL MAKE YOU EASILY TRY THE PLACES WHERE MICHAEL BAY'S ACTION MOVIE WAS FILMED!
You will recognize the courtyards of Palazzo Vecchio and Palazzo Medici Riccardi, as well as Piazza Santa Trinita and the Column of Justice, around which the cars have staged a carousel, miraculously avoiding passers-by and dogs. You will arrive to Piazza della Signoria, you will travel the Piazzale degli Uffizi: just under the arches of the Vasari Corridor one of the reckless pursuits that made you speechless!
Finally, from the feet of the statue of Ferdinando I Grand Duke of Tuscany, in Piazza Santissima Annunziata, the prospect of Brunelleschi's Dome, symbol of Florence but also a parkour training ground for one of the protagonists of the film, will open to the eye.

- 564anitar0 contributionsMore Drama Than Reality TVOur guide, Giacomo, was so knowledgeable and interesting. We had a private "behind the scenes" tour that included all the inside scoop about the Medici family, how they got their wealth, what they did for Florence and the kind of people they were. There was some shocking tea spilled! We loved it. Thank you, Giacomo!Written 30 October 2024

- Nester L0 contributionsThe Medici PalaceOur guide was very knowledgeable of the history of the Medici family and the history of Florence. She had so much information. A few years back, we watched the Netflix series about the Medici and we were so enthralled about it that we made a trip to Florence last year and back again this year to see what we missed last year. It was great to see in person what we saw in the Netflix series. We went to the Bargello museum to see the little Bronze David, which was in the Medici home in the Netflix series.Written 26 September 2024
- DayTrip314108797710 contributionsMeaningful and Memorable Tour!Having just a few days to explore Florence, we booked three separate tours of the Uffizi, Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens to make the most of our short visit to this culturally rich city. The Made of Tuscany team were quick to respond to our request and were flexible with creating a custom tour schedule for my family. Our guides, Giacomo and Susanna, possessed an obvious passion for and extensive knowledge of Italian history and art. Natural story-tellers, they provided valuable perspective and context to allow for deeper understanding of the master works we were seeing. We were grateful to have these warm, engaging, experienced guides help us navigate the vast collections, as well as the potentially daunting museum admissions/queue process especially in peak season. For any future travel to the area, I would absolutely contact this team again to help create a more meaningful, memorable visit.Written 19 August 2024

- L9490EJgarys0 contributionsExcellent Tour of Uffizi answer Academia GalleriesWhat a fabulous private tour provided today by Made of Tuscany and our amazing guide Giacomo. We saw so many people walking around both galleries with books and earbuds so they could get obtain basic info about the pictures and sculptures. We, however, were able to find out the details of each work and the story behind each work that really made the works come to life, and in turn, made each work more interesting. Giacomo was able to mix the descriptions of the works with histories of the time, stories of the artists (and their employers, families, loves, etc.) and humor. The hours flew by as we saw famous works in a way we never would have seen or understood without Giacomo. Our family highly recommends Made of Tuscany and our guide Giacomo.Written 9 July 2024
