About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- ElizabethF15650 contributionsThe best trip to Cinque Terre! We took a day trip to Cinque Terre from Florence. It is a two hour drive to Cinque Terre and well worth every minute. Paola is your driver and guide and is a wealth of information. Cinque Terre is breathtaking beautiful. The halfway stop on the hike has the most refreshing beverages and the lunch stop at the end is delicious. Have the octopus! Highly recommend this tour or any tour with Paola !Written 7 November 2024
- valeriegB8344VA0 contributionsA great day out with wonderful peopleWe did Paola’s private tour of Siena and San Gimignano my teen daughter and I during our summer trip to Florence. We picked this tour because Paola came highly recommended by a well known travel guru. We are glad we chose her. Pick up location was close to our hotel and there was just one other family with us. Paolo drove us in a clean comfortable small van. Our first stop, San Gim was wonderful. I really enjoyed wondering around this beautiful wall town and hearing Paolo’s descriptions and information about what we were seeing. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch with wine and olive oil at a beautiful local winery in San Gim. What a wonderful spread and beautiful scenery. Couldn’t ask for more. The weather went on to onto Siena the highlight of which was the beautiful Siena Cathedral. Throughout the tour Paola was accommodating and informative and did her best to ensure that we saw the best of the two towns and that we were comfortable throughout the tour as it was a very hot day. I would recommend Paola for your private tour needs in Florence. She is very good.Written 8 September 2024
- 500hardeepg0 contributionsFun & Informative Experiences!Hi, We did 3 tours with Paola and Giuseppe. First, San Gimignano & Siena tour was excellent! We had a wine, olive oil tasting with our experience. We’ve done a number of these types of tastings in different locales and the one on this tour was one of the best ones we’ve experienced. The tours themselves were very well paced and informative. Great views! Next, we did a Florence City tour and Uffizi Gallery. The gallery itself is massive so having a guided tour provided us with the main highlights and themes. Giuseppe’s knowledge of the city and its architecture was excellent. Finally, we did a Ferrari and Lamborghini tour. These were excellent tours as well. Giuseppe was also able to recommend a restaurant and balsamic vinegar tasting - both of which were among our top highlights of our 2 week Italy trip. Paola also provided a fantastic tour guide recommendation for our Venice visit. Our family of five was very happy with all 3 tours and our Venice experience. Paola is professional and trustworthy. Giuseppe had a great sense of humour and was engaging throughout our two days with him as our tour guide. We continued to use his one liners with each other after we were done our tours. We highly recommend Florence Tour and would not hesitate to use them again.Written 16 August 2024
- Freedom630905570590 contributionsIncredible Day!We had such an amazing day! It was definitely the highlight of our trip - well… aside from our wedding :) Giuseppe is so knowledgeable and charismatic - and when someone asked about a structure that we passed, he pulled off of the road and took us on a spontaneous adventure through a small town that wasn’t part of the tour! We had the most incredible time! Thank you Paola and Giuseppe for such a memorable experience!Written 24 July 2024
- bpstorm0 contributionsThe private excursion with Paola was 100% worth it!Paola picked us up from our cruise ship and did an amazing job of exposing us to Pisa and Florence highlights. We had a lot to pack in, so it was face-paced. With the limited time, she curated what she thought were the highlights of each area based on our interests. Certainly we would have liked to spend more time in certain places (like Accademia) but she skillfully gave us an introduction to so many things that we are excited to go back one day and do a land portion to explore deeper. She was wonderful about keeping us out of the blazing sun as much as possible, and driving us to the different sites with door to door service in her air conditioned van (it was close to 100 degrees and I don't know how the tourists walking long distances in the tour bus groups did it!). I think trying to do this excursion on our own or even with a large tour group would have made for a difficult day, but thanks to Paola we had a most wonderful day and are very thankful to her for offering us her expertise!!Written 19 July 2024
- 979blaineh0 contributionsSan Gimignano & SienaIt was an incredible time and the locations that Paola Escorted us to were incredible. She gave us the right amount of time and the history history. I would highly recommend her!Written 1 July 2024
- 979blaineh0 contributionsIncredible time in Florence! It was a great experience and Paola was very knowledgeable. She was also very accommodating and easy to communicate with. We felt confident and safe and learned a lot.Written 1 July 2024
- AshChong0 contributionsGreat tour!Paola was a wonderful guide for our group tour around Florence. She even met us at our cruise ship with her van. She was very patient with us and our multiple stops to the bathroom, taking pictures, and stopping to browse. She was knowledgeable and told us a lot about the area and Uffizi gallery! We enjoyed it! This was my third time to Italy but first time to Florence and in the summer/peak season and it was much hotter and much more crowded. (I heard post-COVID there’s not much of a shoulder season anymore so just be aware).Written 1 July 2024
- Diane G0 contributionsPerfect Day in TuscanyWonderful day with Paola in Tuscany! We loved the cities of San Gimignano and Siena and thoroughly enjoyed our Tuscan winery visit! This was one of our favorite days of our trip. So fun and beautiful as well! Thank you Paola for bringing the cities to life with your knowledge… just a perfect day.Written 1 May 2024
- S9575CBshirleyl0 contributionsBeautiful countryside, excellent guide. We thoroughly enjoyed our day trip through Tuscany with lunch and wine tastings. We visited Montepulciano, Piensa and Montalcino. Paola is very knowledgeable and took great care of us. She answered all of our questions, including those we didn't know we should ask. In addition to our day with her, she gave us great advice about more things to see in Florence, where we were staying, and even made reservations for us at recommended places in Florence. Paola made a difference in the way we experienced Florence and Tuscany. I highly recommend using Paola as your guide.Written 28 April 2024
- maulikjoshu0 contributionsPrivate tour at group prices with very helpful guide! Exceeded our expectationsGuiseppe took us on a 2 hour 40 min tour (though he charged only for 2 hours!), covering much more history than what we had expected. He was very friendly, took time to learn about us and our interests, and then went on to cover of course Acaademia / David but many more areas of Florence while we walked from our hotel to Accademia and then towards the dome. I would highly recommend Paola's tour.Written 1 December 2023
- Resort649703108840 contributionsPaola Migliorini is a knowledgable tour guide. We recommend her tours! We had a fantastic Private Walking Tour of Florence which included the Accademia Gallery. Our guide, Paola Migliorini, has many years of experience and she was extremely knowledgable. She shared the secrets and history of the city and we learnt so much. We enjoyed exploring all the hidden gems she share with us and her amazing guide skills. Thanks for a wonderful day of touring the beautiful city of Florence!Written 20 November 2023
- 509patsys0 contributionsWe had an amazing private tour and will have the memories for a lifetime. We started our tour as a private tour of two wineries. After one beautiful winery, we decided to go on to San gemenico at Paula's suggestion. So glad we did. It was an amazing small town in Siena in the tuscany region.Written 26 September 2023
- jt10s0 contributionsGot another guide... DISASTER TOUROn the back of so many positive reviews, decided to book with Paolo for a Pisa / Florence shore excursion from Livorno (private tour with 8 people). First off, the van was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, Paola wasn't our guide. Instead, it was Giuseppe. He was on time meeting us but really started off on the wrong foot but trying to present a history lesson while we were still in the parking lot of the cruise terminal. So we sat there for 5-7 minutes right from the start and immediately hit traffic leaving the port which totally killed the mood from the beginning. We all woke up early and were looking forward to a quick start. Giuseppe could've easily spent the time driving to give us some commentary. He said he's been a tour guide for 30 years and it shows as he very clearly wanted to do things his way rather than asking the group what kind of tour we wanted. Giuseppe stated that he wants his guests to fully understand what they're seeing and for him, that means detailed history and repetition (literally repeated certain facts 5-10 times). Our group wanted to maximize our time and see / experience more rather than stay in one place and listen to long commentary but Giuseppe didn't want that. After the Pisa stop (which was nice - Giuseppe dropped us off right at the entrance and was there waiting for us when we finished), I literally had to tell him how we wanted the rest of the tour to go. At one point, we had to pretend to sleep so that he would stop talking incessantly. Because we really didn't have the same outlook, we completely forewent the planned walking tour of Florence and had him drop us off for free time. I don't necessarily think Giuseppe is a bad guide, but I think his greatest weakness is not asking / caring what his guests want, preferring to do things his way only. I emailed the above feedback to Paolo to which she responded: "Buongiorno everybody This is the 1st complain I am receiving from him from years. You booked a tour with a licensed guide, it’s quite normal that is trying to introduce the city and talk, it would be have beed strange the opposite Of course we the guide we need to be flexible and understand the clients needs. He has a lot of patience usually and this is all be surprise what you wrote to me About the Mayor, you asked why we need to pay 1 euros to go to the bathroom, we don’t have any control on this, this the mayor decision James thank you to say is not a bad guide, as he is not, but thank you for your feedback. He is very upset of course of what your wrote down, but in the this busy season as this one is, is possible not to please everybody" *** To clarify: No one asked why bathrooms cost 1 euro. It's a private bathroom and they can charge whatever they want. The issue was that many in the group needed to use the restroom. We passed a McDonald's where we told Giuseppe we would be happy to stop and he did not. That was the issue. Just one of many examples where Giuseppe simply did not read the group's wishes. We took numerous tours during our month in Europe. All the other guides knew when to talk and when not to talk, even in join-in tours. This was a private tour and Paola's guide made no effort to ask/ascertain what our group wanted from the tour. On a related note, I just found another TA thread where Paola revealed that Giuseppe is actually her partner/husband... which explains a lot. So, YMMV but you might want to confirm which guide you're actually getting on the day...Written 21 September 2023
- MF88880 contributionsVery helpful and friendly servicePaola helped our group of 8 in arranging all the local tour and transfer during our 5 day stay in Tuscany. She replied timely to our enquiries before the trip. We enjoyed the tour to San Gimignano and Siena arranged according to our pace. She recommended good restaurants and helped made booking. All pickups were punctual. Highly recommended.Written 26 July 2023

We had a student group and Paola led us on an orientation tour of Florence. I had been to Florence before and now regret that I did not have a guide like Paola that pointed out so much I had missed before. We had 25 college age students with us and Paola managed to keep all of them interested and when it was time for a break, took us to the best Gelato in Florence. Just the right break for the students. We loved our tour.
